"Hah… hah…"

A great spray of bloody foam burst from his mouth. The violent force had nearly blasted this resilient body to pieces.

Sean had never experienced anything like this before. An icy chill wrapped around his body, and his consciousness began to blur, as though his life would return to eternal nothingness the very next moment.

He could feel death drawing near with absolute clarity, while his fragile self was powerless to resist.

Pale blue light flowed through the metal glove and into his body. The hazy white light in his mind rang out clearly, and the long-standing, unbreakable shackles naturally broke past their limits.

The fire of life ignited once more!

His heart thundered like a war drum. The door to another dimension opened halfway, and the blazing radiance of a supernova swallowed everything!

"Still alive?"

Thanos was rather surprised. Even ancient lifeforms in the universe could not possibly survive such a ferocious blow.

He stopped and stared at the motionless body floating before him. The aura of human life had vanished, yet the keen instincts he had honed over countless years warned him that this battle was not over.

Clusters of golden particles flowed like water around the battered human body, seeping in and merging with it bit by bit. The arm wearing the metal glove twitched almost imperceptibly.

The icy sea resembled a frozen mirror. A sudden, overwhelmingly powerful force suppressed every ripple. The rolling waves, the howling cold wind, the swirling whirlpools… all fell still!

Before Thanos’s astonished eyes, Sean rose to his feet once more. His deep eyes had become pitch-black, radiating an utterly alien presence.

It was ultimate destruction, the nothingness of all things!

A flash of golden light passed by, and the Sentinel Armor reformed. Yet as the glow of that black sun shifted, the pure golden radiance withdrew, and profound darkness descended.

A black cloak emerged behind him, fluttering like a banner in the wind!

"I have touched that unknown universe. The power beyond that door now rests in my palm."

His hoarse voice carried an icy chill.

His black eyes were utterly indifferent. Sean spread his hands, and with the slightest motion, space directly collapsed and gravity descended into chaos. The icy sea turned into countless tiny droplets, floating upward as though weightless, like crystalline blossoms blooming in the sky.

"I have never felt anything so wonderful. It is like consciousness leaving the body and rising into a higher space… I wander among the stars, drifting through the darkness."

Like a medieval bard, Sean spoke slowly in a chanting tone.

He had fallen into a peculiar state. Every thought and fragment of consciousness rose and sank within boundless darkness. He was incomparably lucid, able to sense every minute change in the outside world, yet also dazed and confused, like an exhausted traveler who had lost his way.

Thanos stared at everything in shock. Then his gaze suddenly met Sean’s indifferent eyes, and an inexplicable palpitation rose within him.

He forcibly suppressed the strange feeling and barged into the fragile space that was constantly collapsing.

As a conqueror and explorer of the universe, a maintainer of the balance of all things, his long life had granted this Cosmic Overlord vast experience and knowledge. No matter what, he had always believed that he would be the final victor.

That confidence came from his own strength. No one could shake it!

Thanos threw another violent punch. Space let out a cracking sound under the unbearable strain, and violent shockwaves surged outward, crushing the crystalline droplets into tiny particles!

The burly purple body stepped forward, an imposing aura rising from him. The entire planet trembled beneath his feet.

A towering torrent suddenly erupted, spreading in every direction and transforming into endless hurricanes of destruction that annihilated all matter!

The surging power was like a raging storm, sweeping toward the Sentinel in an instant, as though it would blast him into scraps!

Boom!

A muffled sound like a great bell resounded. Sonic waves roared through the atmosphere, like hundreds of grenades detonating at once and unleashing a barrage of piercing shrieks!

Ignoring Thanos’s astonished gaze, Sean caught the enormous fist falling from above and instinctively struck back.

The metal glove slammed into the giant ridged chin. Amid a clearly audible crack, the Cosmic Overlord’s head rang as though it had been struck by heavy artillery, and a streak of bright red blood leaked from the corner of his mouth.

However, this was only the beginning—

The black figure closed in. Turbulent air currents roared and howled as Thanos relied on the battle instincts within his body to turn his head decisively. Powerful wind pressure grazed his cheek, tearing several shallow cuts into it.

A heavy knee strike followed immediately. Two powerful arms pinned down his shoulders, and violent force smashed into the Cosmic Overlord’s chest. The incomparably hard golden armor shattered inch by inch, the spreading cracks widening until it finally broke apart into tiny fragments.

"This is my return gift to you."

The teasing voice fell. The hand wearing the metal glove pressed down on Thanos’s head, and icy seawater rushed in, immense pressure battering the burly purple body.

"Enough—"

The punch coming straight at him forced the Cosmic Overlord to swallow the rest of his words. Transparent ripples exploded outward, and the violent force stirred up a tsunami. The purple body shot into the sky, tearing through the frigid ocean!

"Far from enough." That was Sean’s answer.

He stomped down, and the icy sea shook. The black figure became an arrow, piercing through the dense water pressure and arriving before Thanos at an even faster speed. The metal glove clenched sharply, and pale blue light flashed.

The unbalanced Cosmic Overlord crashed into a range of snow-covered mountains. Before he could react, violent energy flared like lightning. The earth trembled and tore apart, while icy peaks collapsed and shattered!

The figure in the sky looked like a demon god, his black cloak fluttering like a banner. Hundreds of thousands of tons of snow, ice, and rubble crashed down, burying Thanos completely.

"Then let us fight until the very last moment, until our blood runs dry, and welcome death!"

A violent roar blasted apart the icy mountain. A savage grin spread across the purple face. At that moment, the Mad Titan descended upon the world!

Fevered emotion mixed with chilling killing intent. A yellow glimmer flashed on the metal glove, and a concealed ripple, sharp as an awl, attempted to pierce through his opponent’s mental defenses in one stroke, twisting consciousness and creating illusions!

Standing high in the air, Sean suddenly froze. Thanos bared his teeth in wild laughter, his purple arm carrying terrifying power as it smashed down with all his strength!

He would crush that head!

Break every bone in that body!

Drink deeply of blood!

Listen to the screams!

His mad blood boiled and burned, while reason vanished like smoke. Thanos recalled his homeland, those unhappy days when everyone had called him insane.

Yet he had actually been the only one who had seen the ending. The universe would eventually reach its limits, civilizations would also reach their end, and the final destination of everything was death.

Bloody slaughter, brutal conquest, exterminating half of all life, strangling developing civilizations—every one of these acts had been for the sake of maintaining the balance of the universe and stabilizing the scales of all things.

Rumble—!

The violent explosion stirred up shockwaves. Thanos fell from the sky like a burning meteor and smashed heavily into the ground.

"The same trick might not work a second time."

Sean’s lips curled into a cold smile.

Three enormous fireballs, each comparable to a miniature sun, gathered behind him. Blazing heat carried scorching winds as they struck the fallen Thanos one after another. The burly purple body seemed to be violently pierced through, and he let out a deep, agonized howl.

The earth collapsed deeply, the hard ice split apart, and crimson magma erupted from the planet’s core. Violent energy formed a surging tide that swallowed the battered Cosmic Overlord.

Sean stood upon the sunken ground covered in spreading cracks. Golden light withdrew, condensed, and fused together. His body seemed to transform into a dazzling Nebula, with endless light spiraling through it in cycles of birth and death, like countless stars and celestial bodies releasing terrifying energy.

Deep ripples spread outward. The planet beneath his feet let out a mournful cry, and the solid ice slowly cracked apart. The black figure walked up to Thanos. The Cosmic Overlord breathed with difficulty, his purple skin charred black and large amounts of flesh torn apart. Even for such a powerful lifeform, these were grievous injuries.

"Huff… huff… You are the same as me. We have both become madmen." A smile forced its way onto Thanos’s purple face. He did not seem unwilling, despairing, or enraged by his defeat. "The darkness will devour you, crush you, and drag you into the abyss of destruction."

"I face it. I accept it. The darkness and I have become one."

Sean’s indifferent gaze stirred slightly. He lifted the helplessly struggling Thanos and crashed through the crimson magma at the planet’s core. Temperatures exceeding ten thousand degrees Celsius vaporized everything, melting gold and iron as blazing fire raged outward!

"I am—nothingness!"

Amid thunderous explosions, the two figures pierced through the planet’s core and tore the planet apart!
