The entire main universe had descended into chaotic war, a melee between the living and the dead, with no shortage of clashes involving Level Seven beings. The first thing these zombies did after being resurrected was search through the emotional memories scanned by the Black Lantern Rings, then swiftly pounce on people they had known in life, deliberately using words and actions to provoke the emotions of the living.
