#624

What’s your opinion, Mr. Wei?

"I do have an expansion plan."

Wei Yan looked at the vacant land in the distance and spoke slowly.

"General Manager Wei, do you have any brilliant ideas?"

Pang Tao's face brightened. In the Manager Group Chat, who didn't know of Wei Yan's capabilities?

Basically, every manager who joined the Mingri Group had, to some extent, received guidance from Wei Yan, and every piece of guidance would make them suddenly enlightened and benefit greatly.

Now that Wei Yan had an idea, it must be a very good plan.

"Before discussing this plan, let me first ask, how is the customer traffic here at Corner Pet Park right now?"

Wei Yan turned to look at Pang Tao.

"Now that the farmhouse restaurants are finished, the daily customer traffic can basically stabilize at 20,000 to 30,000 people."

Pang Tao did not hide anything.

"Then, can these farmhouses and Bed and Breakfasts fully meet the requirements of these tourists?" Wei Yan continued to ask.

"Not at all. The current Bed and Breakfasts and farmhouses total 50, which simply cannot meet the tourists' demands."

Pang Tao revealed a wry smile; this was precisely the thing that had been troubling him these days.

During this period, the farmhouses and Bed and Breakfasts had been in a state of being fully booked, and many people still had to go to the city to stay in hotels.

The number of Bed and Breakfasts and farmhouses could not be increased any further. There weren't that many villagers willing to cooperate. And even if they spent their own money to build more farmhouses and Bed and Breakfasts, it would occupy too much land, which would affect the future expansion of Corner Pet Park.

"If that's the case, then my plan has no issues. I think that vacant land could be used to build a resort hotel. While it's called a hotel, the construction requirements shouldn't be designed like a typical hotel."

"First, according to the needs of the tourists here, there are two types: one is short-term rental, for one or two days. The other is long-term, where they can stay here for one or two months or even longer."

"Those staying for a short time can go to the farmhouses and Bed and Breakfasts, so this hotel should be built with long-term stays in mind. When designing the Room types, consider adding a kitchen. It doesn't need to be like a hotel suite, just providing a place where they can cook for themselves is enough. Furthermore, the Room's decoration and layout should be leisure-oriented, not too business-like. You could consider adding a balcony."

"Also, those who can come here for vacation are basically people who like cats and dogs, and they are very likely to bring their own pets. You could appropriately add some pet-friendly Rooms. For example, you could set up a small Room for pets inside, install some cat trees, provide some dog toys, and also consider safety—add protective nets to the windows to prevent pets from accidentally falling."

"As for food and accommodation, you can refer to Tomorrow Cafeteria,"

"…"

Wei Yan briefly explained the design requirements for the hotel.

Of course, this plan of his was not aimless; it was based on something.

He usually watched the live streams of the Pet Park in his spare time and saw comments from people wanting to vacation here, and there were quite a few of them. That was why he had this proposal when Pang Tao mentioned that vacant land.

Moreover, the current Bed and Breakfasts and farmhouses were indeed unable to support the current tourist demand.

Upon hearing this, Pang Tao's eyes lit up. At the same time, he exchanged a glance with Xu Zhengming, who was beside him, revealing an expression of pleasant surprise.

"General Manager Wei, thank you so much! The plan we discussed before was to build two free-range enclosures on that vacant land. We could select some docile cats and dogs and put them into the two enclosures respectively, so tourists could interact with the pets while taking a walk. But later, we thought it felt a bit monotonous, so we didn't consider it."

"However, I think we can combine your hotel idea. We could build a free-range enclosure behind the hotel, so that during their leisure time, tourists can go to the enclosure to interact with those pets."

"Hmm, the free-range enclosure idea is good. Cats are easy enough, but for dogs, you need to be careful to avoid any incidents of dogs hurting people."

Wei Yan thought for a moment and spoke slowly.

"Safety is indeed an issue, so let's build a cat free-range enclosure first."

Pang Tao nodded and continued to lead the way.

"Let's go, let's continue the tour."

The group continued walking and soon arrived at the ticket office. Of course, with Pang Tao leading the way, there was no need to buy tickets; someone immediately guided them inside.

Just after walking into the Pet Park.

Chen Cong and Du Ziteng were shocked by the greenery before them. Lush plants basically covered the Pet Park, and sunlight could only filter through the green leaves, casting dappled spots on the ground.

Such greenery could already rival a green ecological park.

They knew from the videos that the greenery here was very good, but after experiencing it in person, they had a different feeling.

The group continued walking forward, touring the layout of Corner Pet Park.

"That over there must be the Pet Paradise, right?"

When they reached a fork in the road, Chen Cong pointed to a place in the distance where there was a larger crowd and asked.

"That's right, that is the Pet Paradise. There happens to be a pet competition today; let's go over and take a look."

"Hmm, I've seen pet competitions in live streams, and I thought they were quite interesting."

Chen Cong nodded with a smile.

The group headed towards the Pet Paradise.

"General Manager Pang, General Manager Xu."

Just as they approached, a shout came from not far away.

"Xiaoxiao, are you still live streaming?"

Pang Tao looked toward the sound and discovered that the person speaking was none other than Du Xiaoxiao. At this moment, she was holding a mobile phone, pointing it in the direction of the pet competition in the distance.

"Yes, live streaming the pet competition."

Du Xiaoxiao nodded.

"Du Xiaoxiao!"

Du Ziteng called out when he saw Du Xiaoxiao. He was very familiar with Du Xiaoxiao because he was the one who arranged for her to live stream here.

"Ah! President Du!"

Du Xiaoxiao turned her head, and after seeing who it was, she exclaimed.

Wasn't this her boss?

"You continue your live stream."

Du Ziteng said indifferently, then turned his gaze toward the pet competition inside the Pet Paradise.

Two hours later,

at the parking lot,

"Sorry for the trouble today, General Manager Pang and General Manager Xu."

Chen Cong and Du Ziteng looked at Pang Tao and Xu Zhengming and thanked them.

"It's no trouble. Whenever you two want to come back, remember to call. We will properly host you both."

Pang Tao waved his hand with a smile.

Chen Cong smiled and turned to look at Yao Beiguo.

"General Manager Yao, I'll leave the club members to you. We need to talk to General Manager Wei about some things."

"You two go ahead. We will definitely take good care of your club members."

Yao Beiguo nodded with a smile. He knew that Tiange Club and Snowy Sky had a partnership, so he didn't want to disturb them.

Immediately, he arranged for a business van to take the people from Tiange Club away from Corner Pet Park.

"Let's go too."

Watching the business van leave, Wei Yan turned to look at Chen Cong and Du Ziteng beside him.

…

"Eh, did you open a new brand for Nanhe Coffee?"

At the entrance of the Nanhe Coffee Shop,

Du Ziteng looked at Nanrui Coffee across from Nanhe Coffee and asked with some confusion. It wasn't that he was guessing wildly, but from the outside, except for the name, these two coffee shops looked basically identical in every other aspect.

The color of the sign, the font of the coffee shop name, and the heart-shaped chairs and heart-shaped water dispensers outside the coffee shop were practically cut from the same mold.
