Since New Krypton conquered the Solar System of the Three-Body World 150 years ago, it had rapidly developed into a super-intelligent human civilization. All repetitive labor and inefficient physical work had been entirely taken over by AI machinery. Some cities were even operated wholly by mechanical intelligences. Humanity had been freed from low-efficiency labor and, through the advanced education promoted by New Krypton, displayed uniquely human thought, art, humanities, and other forms of human consciousness.
