Zabuza the Tool Person (2/5)

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

As a tailed beast with infinite Chakra, it naturally did not need to carefully ration its Chakra like most ninja.

All they needed to do was gather their enormous reserves of Chakra and release it all at once in a form visible to the naked eye.

This method of compressing Chakra to the extreme, then adding Shape Transformation to create an attack as powerful as a Cannon, was the famed Tailed Beast Bomb.

At this moment, the rampaging Naruto Uzumaki was unleashing devastating Tailed Beast Bombs across the sea without restraint, even stirring up waves twenty to thirty meters high, tsunamis, and torrential rain.

"That blond brat! Is… is he the Nine-Tails’ Jinchuriki?!"

Zabuza, who had just awakened from unconsciousness, happened to witness this scene. His eyes revealed undisguised horror.

As one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, he naturally knew about tailed beasts and Jinchuriki. He also understood the terror of these man-made War Weapons.

But compared to the Mist Ninja’s Three-Tails, Konoha Village’s Nine-Tails was several levels above it in both destructive power and ferocity.

"Ah! That’s right! What do you think? Is this your first time seeing the Nine-Tails’ power? You should count yourselves lucky! Konoha’s executives have always treated the Nine-Tails as nothing more than a dangerous object and never intended to deploy it on the battlefield. Otherwise, no country would likely be able to stop it." Allen answered without looking back.

At this moment, he had already removed his mask and revealed his true appearance. His Sharingan had been completely deactivated, leaving his pupils their normal violet color.

"Who exactly are you? Why do you know Konoha’s core secrets so well?" Zabuza reached toward the Kubikiribōchō lying nearby.

But before he could touch its hilt, Karin swung her fist and smashed it hard into his abdomen.

Bang!

"Urgh!!!!"

"Cough, cough, cough…"

Although the punch was not particularly heavy, it still made him spit out a mouthful of blood. Clutching his stomach, he dropped to his knees.

"Don’t move around without my lord’s permission! Otherwise, I won’t be polite!" Karin threatened, clenching her fist.

"Don’t be so rude! Mr. Zabuza is an elite Mist Ninja jonin. As juniors, we should show him at least a little respect. Besides, do you really think he could threaten me just by picking up that Kubikiribōchō?" Allen said with a faint smile.

"No! Of course not! I just thought he still hadn’t understood the situation and wasn’t respectful enough toward you." Karin hurriedly turned around to explain.

Enduring the intense pain from his jolted internal organs, Zabuza struggled back to his feet and asked through gritted teeth, "What exactly do you want to do to me?"

"Very simple! I want you to deal with Gato for me, then sell off all of this guy’s real estate and bring back the cash. Of course, to be safe, I’ll keep Haku here as a hostage. If you run off with the money, then Haku will become Orochimaru’s test subject. After spending so long among rogue ninja, I’m sure you know just how obsessed Orochimaru is with Bloodline Ninja, don’t you?"

Allen calmly stated his intentions.

As one of the greatest merchants in the world, Gato’s assets—especially his real estate—were already spread across every corner of the world. Handling them would be quite troublesome.

So, he planned to make use of the tool person in front of him.

"You want me to kill my own employer?!" Zabuza instantly became enraged.

Even though he was a rogue ninja, he still followed the ninja code and had never robbed a single merchant caravan.

It was both pride in his identity and a conviction he held in his heart.

But now, the other party actually wanted to force him to break that bottom line.

"Employer?" Allen shook his head with a soft laugh. "Don’t be naïve! Whether you complete the mission or not, Gato will have me get rid of you. Now, I’ll give you one minute to think it over. Give me a definite answer after one minute."

"What if my answer is no?" Zabuza raised his head provocatively.

"You’ll be killed, then summoned back from the world of the dead through the forbidden technique Impure World Reincarnation, becoming a dog that obeys every command. Haku will also become Orochimaru’s test subject, and after being toyed with and tortured, he too will be brought back through Impure World Reincarnation." Allen’s threat carried deep meaning.

"Impure World Reincarnation…"

Zabuza’s pupils suddenly contracted. Clearly, he had heard of this terrifying ninjutsu invented by the Second Hokage.

But he quickly forced himself to calm down. "Why should I believe you’ll keep your promise?"

Allen replied indifferently, "You can only believe me! Because you have no right to choose now! The strong devour the weak—this is the law of the Ninja World. Don’t tell me you don’t even understand that?"

"One last question! Tell me your true identity! I should at least know who I’m working for, right?"

Zabuza glanced at Haku, whose hands were broken and who was curled up in pain, then carefully probed.

"You can call me Allen! As for my identity, for now, I’m a member of the Root Organization led by Danzō of Konoha Village." Allen gave his answer with a faint smile.

"For now?"

Zabuza sharply caught that keyword.

Allen nodded slightly. "Hmm! For now! Because I’m already tired of this boring ninja game, and Shimura Danzō can’t give me what I want."

"You really are a dangerous guy! You can talk about leaving the village in such a casual tone!" A trace of wariness appeared in Zabuza’s eyes.

You must know, leaving the village was an extremely dangerous matter for any ninja.

This was especially true for ninja from the Five Great Nations. Once they defected, it meant they would spend the rest of their lives facing endless pursuit.

So far, not a single rogue ninja had lived peacefully to the end of their life. Most would be tracked down by their village’s Anbu within a few years, then executed in the cruelest manner possible.

Normally, unless someone truly could not survive any longer, who would be willing to defect?

But what about this young-looking ninja before him?

He treated defection as something as ordinary as eating and drinking!

Especially that unconcerned attitude—he clearly did not take Konoha, one of the Five Great Nations, seriously at all. Nor did he regard Danzō, the Third Hokage’s close partner and the man known as the Darkness of the Ninja World, as anything important.

"Heh! The so-called ninja rules are really just meant to restrain the weak.

Which true powerhouse actually takes ninja rules seriously?

Look at the Legendary Sannin. After Orochimaru defected, not only was he not hunted down, he even maintained close cooperation with Danzō.

Tsunade and Jiraiya have spent years wandering outside the village. If it were anyone else, they would probably have long been treated as rogue ninja.

So the reason you’re still being hunted by the Anbu is that you’re too weak. The Land of Water thinks hunting you down costs nothing, while also serving as a warning to others.

But I’m different!

I have the power to make anyone who dares scheme against me pay a painful price!

Onoki, the Tsuchikage, should understand that deeply!

All right, enough idle chatter. It’s time for you to get to work."

After saying that, Allen gave Karin a look. She immediately took Haku and turned to leave the fine viewing platform.

As the anger in Naruto Uzumaki’s heart gradually subsided, this spectacle of a Jinchuriki rampage finally came to an end.

And after learning that Sasuke was not in mortal danger, Kakashi finally relaxed his taut nerves—only to be left with a headache over what to do next.

Should he stay and continue carrying out this dangerous mission, which exceeded Team 7’s capabilities?

Or should he abandon the mission and watch helplessly as Tazuna was killed and the bridge symbolizing the Land of Waves’ hope was destroyed?
