A Three-Star Good Citizen (Please Bookmark and Follow)

In Queens, New York City, inside the bedroom of a luxury apartment.

"Ring, ring…"

The sudden ringing woke the middle-aged couple sleeping in bed.

"Hello, this is George Stacy. What happened?"

Without the slightest hesitation, the man answered the phone. As the NYPD precinct chief, even if it was only a precinct, he knew that whenever his phone rang, no matter the time, he had to answer it.

"Chief Stacy, Spider-Woman has appeared in the city again! And this time, the situation is extremely tricky. You may need to come personally and take command."

"Spider-Woman again…"

Although he still did not know exactly what had happened.

George Stacy had already sat up in bed. "What exactly is going on?"

As he asked for the details, he quickly got dressed.

"Chief, we aren’t entirely sure of the specifics either. We just received a report from a civilian claiming that two Spider-Men were fighting in the city center."

"At first, we thought it was a false report. But then we received calls from more than a dozen other civilians, all claiming they had seen two Spider-Men fighting in the city."

"Several streets in the city are now in complete chaos because of their battle. The number of casualties is still impossible to determine."

"However, we’ve already notified the hospitals and fire department. The officers still on duty at our precinct have all been sent over to provide support…"

"Chief, what should we do next? Please give your orders."

The officer on the other end quickly and methodically reported the situation in one breath, then waited for the chief’s instructions.

"Notify every officer who isn’t currently on duty at the precinct. Call and wake up anyone who’s asleep. Anyone living nearby should head straight to the scene."

"Mobilize every weapon and piece of equipment the precinct can access. This time, we’re going to settle things with that guy in the spider mask once and for all."

"And send a helicopter to pick me up from my residence."

After rapidly issuing all his orders, George hung up without waiting for the officer’s response.

He was already fully dressed. Grabbing his badge and sidearm, he left his residence without even having time to say goodbye to his wife.

"This time, I’ll rip that mask off with my own hands and let every citizen of New York City see what kind of face is hidden beneath that terrifying spider mask."

Meanwhile, the battle between the two Spider-Men had finally awakened every resident on the surrounding streets, turning the once relatively quiet night as chaotic as daytime.

"What’s going on?"

"I don’t know. What happened over there?"

Countless curious onlookers who had no idea what was happening came out onto the streets, wanting to get closer and see what was going on.

But the people who had escaped from the battlefield wished they had two extra legs so they could flee that dangerous place faster.

At the very center of the chaos, officers had already arrived and were quickly evacuating the nearby civilians. With their abilities, they simply could not interfere in a fight between two superhumans.

Couldn’t they see that there were hardly any cars left intact on that street?

They certainly did not believe their flesh-and-blood bodies could be tougher than cars made of metal.

After all, they only earned a few thousand dollars a month. It was not worth dying over.

Being able to help evacuate civilians from close range was already proof of considerable courage.

At that moment, Peter, having transformed into a "bomb maniac," was hurling countless vehicles at Gwen in the air as weapons.

Gwen had to nimbly dodge the empty vehicles while also making sure to rescue the cars that still had people inside.

That left Gwen completely unable to keep using her agility to escape.

Gradually, Peter was about to catch up to her.

Until she rescued another unlucky person who had just experienced a "roller coaster ride."

Her Spider-Sense suddenly sounded a warning.

"Oh, shit!"

Even Gwen, known for being gentle and beautiful, was furious enough to curse.

Why the hell won’t this guy stop chasing me?

But cursing inwardly did nothing to solve her current predicament.

Because she had saved countless innocent civilians earlier, a considerable amount of her strength had already been depleted.

Even though her Spider-Sense detected the danger in advance.

Her exhausted body was simply unable to react and dodge in an instant.

Sizzle…

The familiar sound, along with the sticky sensation on her back.

Made Gwen fully aware of what had happened to her.

But she had no time to tear free of the Webbing wrapped around her.

Before she felt an enormous force travel down the Webbing.

The next moment, her entire body was yanked directly down from dozens of meters in the air.

She crashed violently onto a car that someone had abandoned, apparently fleeing so hurriedly that they had forgotten to close the door.

Bang!

The terrifying force instantly crushed the entire car flat.

Even worse, perhaps some terrible debuff had been triggered this time.

The smashed car actually exploded like something out of a Hollywood blockbuster, and the terrifying heat wave swallowed Gwen whole.

"Mm, now this feels like a real blockbuster. That should be enough to complete the mission, right?"

At that moment, Peter did not immediately rush after Gwen. Instead, he took the chance to summon his system and check whether the mission had been completed.

Damn it, don’t tell me this still isn’t enough?

Looking at the mission still marked as incomplete, Peter could not help complaining inwardly.

If the scale still isn’t big enough, then I’ll make an even bigger scene.

Without dwelling on it, Peter turned his gaze toward the distant area where the explosion had occurred. "Heh heh heh… Cough, cough. Why am I getting used to this?"

As Peter watched, a figure suddenly leaped out from the center of the explosion and performed several nimble flips in midair.

Then she landed in front of Peter in an exceptionally cool superhero pose.

Though if one ignored the fact that her tight Spider-Suit had been burned with several holes by the heat of the explosion, exposing large patches of pale skin, then her pose really was pretty cool.

Peter stared intently at Gwen, but naturally not because of her alluring figure or the fair skin she had exposed.

After all, with X-ray Vision, he had already seen…

Cough, cough. Peter was only wondering, "Doesn’t landing like that hurt her knees?"

Seeing Gwen kneeling on the ground with the leg whose knee area had conveniently torn open, exposing her knee.

He could not help feeling as though his own knee hurt a little.

"Tobey Maguire, you have successfully enraged me!"

Gwen slowly raised her head. Even though her eyes could not be seen, the chill in them was unmistakable.

This was the first time Gwen had been so disheveled since becoming Spider-Woman. In her eyes, Peter had become a heinous and unforgivable criminal.

Whoosh!

But before Gwen could vent the intense fury in her heart, two beams of light suddenly descended from the sky, illuminating both of them clearly.

Thump, thump, thump…

At some point, two Helicopters had begun circling above them!

Whooo… Screech…

At the same time, sirens drew closer and closer, followed by the piercing screech of tires skidding sharply across the road.

Several police cars had already surrounded them completely.

"Oh, now I get it. How could it count as chaos on a sufficient scale without raising enough stars?"
