Ambush

"Good things really do come in pairs."

Upon receiving Venom’s message, Knull was delighted. He asked, "Is it safe around you?"

"It’s safe. I’m in the bedroom, and there’s no one else."

Venom said, "However, Military Control is in effect on the Resource Star. To avoid any accidents, My God, please send the items to me as soon as possible."

Venom claimed he was alone undercover, but in reality, a group of Super Heroes stood ready across from him—Hulk, Captain Marvel, Dr. Strange, Doctor Doom, Ivan, Tony, Damon and Mindy, the father and daughter pair, Steve, Thor, Electro, Black Bolt, and Jessica Jones. It was quite the lineup.

This time, Skye and Little Hela had not come. The reason was simple: someone needed to remain on the Frontlines to mislead Hela and the others. They could not all leave.

Wang Bert was also there, though he had not shown himself. He hid in the void, continuing his work as a documentary director.

"Fine."

Knull nodded and controlled an enormous energy hand to move Gorr aside. Seeing that Gorr was unharmed, the Necrosword immediately stopped trembling.

Knull was not sparing Gorr. He simply did not have time for him right now. He needed to focus all his strength on opening a Space Channel and transmitting the items over—the Space Channel itself was easy to open, but concealing all traces and avoiding detection by the Blood God was difficult.

No one knew whether the Blood God had set up any precautions on the Resource Star. To be safe, Knull had to go all out.

"Prepare to receive it."

Knull slowly opened a Space Vortex and instructed, "After receiving them, merge these Symbiotes into your body and bring them back to Earth. Then spread them in secret. Remember, do not let anyone else discover them."

These Symbiotes had been specially modified by Knull. When dormant, they would quietly hide within their hosts and slowly merge with them. Unless a God-Devil Level powerhouse personally examined them, no one would notice anything amiss.

By boiling the frog slowly, once the plan was launched, even the Blood God would have to kneel unless he abandoned all the people of Earth.

Venom solemnly promised, "Yes, My God. I am ready."

"Good."

Knull did not waste any more words. He tossed a small box made of Symbiotes into the Space Vortex, then prepared to close it. Every extra second the Space Vortex remained open increased the chance of exposure.

At that moment, Venom suddenly shouted, "My God, wait! There’s something wrong with this box."

"What is wrong?"

Knull asked. At the same time, Strange and Doctor Doom, standing across from Venom, focused all their strength on sensing the space around them.

"The Symbiotes making up this box are incredibly weak, even weaker than a loser like me. You should know that I’m the weakest loser on the Symbiote Planet."

Venom rambled on. "Ahem, My God, I’m not a loser. I’m very strong. They only call me a loser because they’re jealous of me…"

"Shut up."

Knull’s face darkened. He shouted, "Being weak is normal. These are specially made Symbiotes. Stop talking nonsense and follow my instructions."

Having said that, Knull prepared to disperse the Space Vortex. At that moment, a brilliant burst of energy suddenly shot out from the vortex. Caught off guard, Knull was blasted away, his entire body embedded in the mountain wall.

Immediately afterward, more than a dozen tiny figures, no bigger than ants, flew out of the Space Vortex. Then, they all expanded at once. They were Tony and the others.

Venom had not come with them. In a battle of this level, a loser like him was better off not throwing his life away.

Wearing the Godslayer Armor, Tony looked around and mocked, "A mighty ancient god living in a cave? Knull, are you an environmentalist?"

No one paid Tony any attention. Steve and the others stared unblinkingly at the mountain wall, while Strange cast Time Magic at top speed.

Seeing Gorr wrapped in the giant hand, Thor unleashed a bolt of lightning that shattered it. Gorr climbed to his feet and warily looked at everyone. He asked, "Who are you? Huh, you’re a god?"

Sensing Thor’s identity, Gorr’s expression immediately filled with murderous intent.

"What is Batman doing here?"

Wang Bert looked at Gorr in surprise. Gorr looked exactly like Batman, the Dark Knight from next door.

Then Wang Bert shook his head. It was probably because the actor who played Batman had joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Wang Bert crossed over and was cast as Gorr the God Butcher.

If I calculate it correctly, this should be Thor 4. I wonder whether Thor 4 has been released in the original world yet?

"What’s wrong with being a god? I was born a god."

Thor asked in confusion. At that moment, accompanied by blazing Light Flame, the entire mountain wall burned into nothingness. Then Knull’s furious figure appeared before everyone.

"You actually dared to ambush me? And where is that traitor Venom?"

Knull was truly enraged. Being humiliated by Wang Bert was one thing; after all, Wang Bert was a Creator God. But now even a group of youngsters dared to ambush him. Did they really think Knull was harmless? If he did not kill every one of them, how would he ever show his face in the universe again? "Venom asked me to send you his regards."

As Steve spoke, he threw a Pokeball at Knull. "Come out, Hydra."

Knull instinctively looked toward the Pokeball. At that moment, Strange completed his Time Magic and pushed his hand forward. A green Magic Array appeared out of thin air beside Knull’s arm.

The Magic Array immediately transformed into a pattern at astonishing speed and branded itself onto Knull’s arm. Even Knull did not have time to stop it.

"Time Magic?"

Knull was startled. He hurriedly used the Devouring Concept to consume the Time Pattern on his arm, but the pattern contained the power of the Time Stone. Even the Devouring Concept could not easily devour it.

Before Knull could do anything else, the Super Heroes launched their attacks together.

Black Bolt immediately let out a dolphin-like shriek. Thor swung Stormbreaker and blasted out an enormous Lightning Beam. Captain Marvel gathered Cosmic Energy, sending a brilliant torrent roaring forward.

Tony fired Space Lasers. Damon and Mindy unleashed flames. Ivan fired a black hole. Electro blasted out an Electromagnetic Railgun. Hydra’s nine heads attacked simultaneously.

More than a dozen attacks crashed toward Knull in a vast wave. Space shattered instantly. Knull’s expression changed as he hurriedly summoned the Doomsday Gate, covered in planetary patterns, and swallowed every attack into it.

"Just as expected. Increase the assault and burst him apart."

Steve shouted. Everything that had happened was part of their plan—force Knull to use the Doomsday Gate, then overwhelm and burst it with immense energy.

Did the Super Heroes possess immense energy? Of course they did. Carol could summon limitless Cosmic Energy, Hulk’s anger was inexhaustible, and Damon and Mindy had more than enough Vengeance Fire.

It was worth mentioning that Doom had not attacked. He had been secretly setting up a Magic Array in the rear.

"Lend me your anger."

Hulk transformed into the God of Anger once again. Unlike last time, countless aliens agreed to lend their anger to Hulk this time—Hulk had become famous throughout the universe, and everyone knew he borrowed anger to do good deeds.

"Hulk’s Roar!"

Supported by endless anger, Hulk crazily unleashed Roar Waves. His attack power surpassed even Thor’s. Thor was greatly displeased and intensified his attack, until the entire sky darkened.

"Oh, heavens!"

The nearby residents saw an entire mountain vanish and the sky seemingly ripped apart. Terrified out of their wits, they hurriedly boarded boats and fled the island. As for praying to the demon god Eye Demon? Ha. This planet’s demon god never saved anyone.

Gorr stared in utter disbelief. He had never imagined that this group of humans could be so powerful that even Knull could only passively endure their attacks.

"Only one of them is a god. Can mortals really become this powerful?"

Gorr was shocked. Then he noticed the Necrosword floating in the air and was overjoyed. He quickly summoned it, and the Necrosword immediately turned into a streak of Black Light and flew into his hand.

With the Necrosword in hand, Gorr’s confidence surged. After thinking it over, he decided to kill Gorr first, then kill that Thor. All gods deserved to die. Not a single one could be spared.

At that moment, a stream of consciousness surged from the Necrosword into Gorr’s soul. Gorr’s eyes immediately turned completely black—Knull had merged with and taken control of him.

"You bunch of trash, how dare you sneak attack me?"

Knull was furious beyond measure. Without another word, the Necrosword devoured Space Energy and slashed a massive pitch-black sword light toward Strange.

The Time Stone was on this man. He had to kill him first. The power of time was simply too terrifying.

Strange sensed the danger and hurriedly turned around, casting the spell Hoggoth’s Ancient Body. A translucent barrier appeared before him.

Hoggoth’s Ancient Body had powerful defenses, but it was still somewhat inferior to that spatial sword light. It only held on briefly before shattering into countless butterflies that fluttered wildly through the air.

Fortunately, the others reacted in time. Captain Marvel rushed over and smashed the spatial sword light apart with a punch. Then she shouted at Gorr, "Do you know what you’re doing?"

"Of course I know what I’m doing. You ants, I will kill every last one of you."

Knull roared. He charged in front of Captain Marvel, the Necrosword attacking like a violent storm. Captain Marvel fearlessly met it with her fists, only to discover that her energy was being devoured by the other side.

Strange caught his breath and shouted, "Carol, be careful! That guy has merged with Knull."

"I’ll handle him. Carol, keep attacking the Doomsday Gate."

Jessica activated the Crimson Gem Wang Bert had given her. Red energy filled her entire body, making her feel as if she could punch through the sky itself.

Then Jessica shouted and threw an Earth-Shattering punch at Knull. Knull did not dare to be careless and immediately raised the Necrosword to block it.

Although the Necrosword devoured part of the force, the remaining power still sent Knull flying backward. Knull was shocked and angrily shouted, "Cyttorak, you want to oppose me too?"

Across distant time and space, Cyttorak turned his gaze toward Jessica. After a moment, he irritably looked away. It was the power of a Crimson God from another universe.

Seeing that Jessica could handle Knull, Carol returned to continue bombarding the Doomsday Gate. Knull’s true body was fused with the Doomsday Gate. Once it was burst apart, Knull would suffer severe damage. Then dealing with him would be much easier.

"This power feels incredible! I’m going to beat you to death."

Jessica burst into laughter, taking several enormous leaps to reach Knull. Her fists attacked in an endless barrage, while Knull snorted and rapidly defended with the Necrosword.

After several exchanges, Knull suddenly punched Jessica in the chest. Jessica flew away like a meteor and vanished beyond the horizon.

That punch had carried Jessica’s own power. The Necrosword possessed part of the Devouring Concept.

"No matter how powerful you are, if you don’t understand concepts, you’re merely relying on brute force."

Knull snorted. Just as he was about to return and deal with the others, Ivan and Tony blocked his path at the same time.

At the sight of Tony and Ivan, Knull’s anger flared. He cursed, "You two mortals dare to stand in my way?"

"Mortals? The lackey next to me is indeed a mortal."

Tony said disdainfully, "I, Tony Stark, am the smartest man in the universe. It is an honor for you that I’m personally dealing with you."

"Lackey?"

Ivan, wearing the Magic Rune Armor, sneered. "Sissy, you’re getting carried away again? You only killed one bug. What’s so impressive about that? I’ve killed Thanos. Did I ever brag about it? Smartest man in the universe? More like the biggest sissy in the universe."

"Killed Thanos? Aren’t you ashamed? We held Thanos back so you had the chance to ambush him."

Tony said disdainfully, "Without us, you are nothing. Also, get your status straight. I’m a god-level powerhouse now. You aren’t."

Ivan sneered. "You really are getting carried away again, sissy. Don’t forget, every time you get carried away, you get beaten up."

"Who can beat me up?"

Tony said arrogantly. Knull was driven mad. These two mortals were acting as if he did not exist. He roared, "Shut up, both of you—"

As Knull roared, Tony and Ivan launched their attacks at the same time—Ivan fired a pitch-black beam brimming with destruction, while Tony unleashed dozens of black lasers.

Knull was startled and hurriedly controlled the Necrosword to transform into a black curtain of light before him. All of Tony’s lasers were absorbed by the curtain, but Ivan’s Black Light turned into a black hole and began devouring the Necrosword in turn.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, Tony and Ivan swiftly flew to Knull’s left and right.

"Take this."

A missile rack popped out from Tony’s body, and a large number of specially made Micro Missiles blasted toward Knull.

Ivan forcefully swung both whips at Knull. The whip on the left crackled with lightning, like a thunder dragon, while the whip on the right was covered in Black Light, like a black dragon.

"You think this is enough to defeat me?"

Knull shouted furiously. He and the Necrosword instantly vanished. This was not Teleportation, but fusion—fusion with the void.

Immediately afterward, Knull appeared beside Ivan and slashed down at him with a sword strike that seemed capable of destroying heaven and earth. Ivan activated the Magic Runes beneath his feet and evaded the Necrosword at astonishing speed.

Then Ivan swung his right hand hard, sending his whip toward Knull like a black dragon. Knull raised his sword to block it, but the whip nimbly coiled around the Necrosword. Then the whip turned into a black hole that grew larger and larger, trapping the Necrosword within it.

Knull frowned. Before he could do anything, Ivan’s lightning whip came lashing over once more, like an enormous thunder dragon filled with destructive power.

At the same time, Tony formed a force field out of Nanoparticles, pinning Knull in place.

Seeing this, Knull forcibly drove the Necrosword to swallow the black hole. Then he swung the Necrosword, turning it into a shining streak as he slashed fiercely at the thunder dragon.

"Let’s see how much you can devour."

Ivan grinned viciously. The Magic Runes across his body lit up with dazzling radiance, and the thunder dragon’s body rapidly swelled.

Just as the Necrosword and thunder dragon were about to collide, the thunder dragon suddenly contracted into an incomparably violent mass of lightning. Then the lightning collapsed into a black hole that grew larger and larger, trapping the incoming Necrosword inside.
