Going Berserk

"Damn it."

Knull’s expression changed. He hurriedly tried to retrieve the Necrosword, only to find it firmly entangled by the black hole, unable to break free. Devouring it was impossible as well, because it had already forcibly devoured one before.

"Ivan actually figured out how to use black holes."

Tony was astonished. Ivan had basically mastered the power of black holes. He could even use lightning to evolve a black hole.

As the Necrosword was entangled by the black hole, a figure flashed out from behind Tony. A Vibranium greatsword, carrying terrifying force capable of splitting space itself, slashed down at Knull.

Knull was greatly alarmed and hurriedly released the Necrosword to flee. At that moment, Tony poured all his energy into the force field, leaving Knull unable to move.

In the next instant, Gorr’s body was split in two by the Vibranium greatsword. Then, under the effects of crimson power, the two halves exploded into a rain of blood.

Seeing Gorr die miserably, the Necrosword broke free from the black hole with all its strength. Black light then flared from it, drawing all of Gorr’s flesh and blood over. Countless black threads emerged from the blade and rapidly repaired Gorr’s body.

Jessica frowned and was about to attack again when Strange shouted, "Knull has transferred his consciousness. Everyone, prepare your defenses, and watch out for the people around you."

"What?"

Everyone was startled and hurriedly watched their surroundings. After thinking for a moment, Ivan directly aimed his lightning whip at Tony. Tony snapped, "Madman, what are you doing?"

Ivan said gloomily, "Based on your past record, there’s an eighty percent chance it’s you again."

Tony wanted to argue, but found himself speechless. Ivan really had a damn good point.

Tony hurriedly said, "Jarvis, activate the mental defense system."

Damon laughed. "Looks like we get to beat Tony up again."

"How is that beating him up? We’re helping Tony come to his senses."

Steve said, and everyone burst into laughter. Tony viciously raised his middle finger at them. Those bastards were just jealous of him.

At that moment, the Hydra beneath Steve’s feet suddenly struggled violently. Then, all nine of its heads raised high at once and fired energy attacks at everyone.

"A bunch of idiots. You actually dared bring a puppet to fight me."

Knull sneered. With His Fusion Concept, controlling puppets was as easy as drinking water.

"Knull, I really didn’t expect you to be this stupid."

Steve chuckled and pressed his wristwatch. Hydra jerked all over, the light around its body dimming as it floated weakly in the void.

Then, Strange activated the magic on Hydra’s body. A massive Magic Array enveloped Hydra, and Knull discovered that His consciousness had been trapped inside Hydra’s body, unable to leave.

"You planned all of this?"

Knull asked in shock and fury. Hydra was obviously a trap, and He had foolishly walked right into it.

"What do you think?"

Everyone sneered. Aside from Gorr, the battle had basically remained under their control.

Hulk, who had been unleashing Roar Waves, shut his mouth and scoffed. "Knull, the most important thing about being a person is knowing how to use your brain. Got it?"

Everyone looked at him with contempt. You called that using your brain?

"If you really knew how to use your brain, you wouldn’t be stupid enough to fire energy from your mouth."

Mindy asked disdainfully, "Is your mouth numb yet?"

"It is, so I need to rest for a while."

Hulk said awkwardly, "I didn’t expect to keep blasting for this long. I’ll improve it later and make it fire from my palms."

Everyone laughed, while Knull was nearly driven mad with rage. He shouted, "Do you think you’ve already won?"

"Haven’t we?"

Tony asked theatrically. Steve flew up to Hydra using qi and said, "Knull, your consciousness is sealed inside Hydra’s body, and your body is about to explode. This time, you’ve lost."

Knull sneered. "Don’t celebrate too early. The one who laughs last is the winner."

Steve smiled. "Knull, we don’t want to become mortal enemies with you. As long as you agree to one condition, we’ll let you go."

Knull gritted His teeth. "Are you threatening me?"

"Yes, we are threatening you."

Steve nodded firmly. He said, "Knull, as long as you swear to Creator God Bert Wang that you will not participate in this insect disaster and will seal yourself away for ten years, we will let you go. Otherwise, you will die here today."

"You want me to swear to Blood God… that guy?"

Knull roared. Steve nodded and said, "Yes. Swearing by his name is the same as making him your guarantor. If you fail to keep your promise, he will personally come for you. When that happens, even if you want to live, you won’t be able to."

Knull was practically exploding with rage. He roared, "No one can kill me! Not you, not the Celestial Group, and not Blood God either! Humans, I will make you pay!"

"Then don’t blame us for being ruthless."

Steve snorted. "Hulk, keep attacking. Blow up the Doomsday Gate."

"Got it."

Hulk patted his mouth and unleashed another Roar Wave. The others increased their firepower as well. The Doomsday Gate gradually began to swell, indicating that the energy it had absorbed was nearing its limit.

"How do you know about the Doomsday Gate?"

Knull asked in shock and fury. "No one but me knows this move."

These Super Heroes knew Him inside and out. If not for that, He would never have been schemed against so badly.

Steve merely smiled without answering. He would not casually reveal information as important as Future Time-Space.

Seeing this, Knull stopped asking and quietly prepared a killer move. He would never submit. A mere group of juniors had no right to make Him submit.

At that moment, Jessica whistled and said, "Nice body. A little too skinny, though."

Everyone turned their heads and discovered that Gorr had already been reborn. Ignoring Jessica’s teasing, he stroked the Necrosword in his hand and shouted excitedly, "You’re back."

"Necrosword, control Gorr and come save me."

Knull shouted upon seeing this. Everyone immediately became vigilant, and Jessica clenched her fists, ready to strike. At that moment, the Necrosword began to buzz violently.

"The Necrosword says it won’t control me."

Sensing the message from the Necrosword, Gorr sneered at Hydra. "It says that whoever holds it is its wielder. Knull, I will never let you take the Necrosword from me again."

With that, Gorr turned to leave. To him, the Necrosword was more important than anything else.

"Gorr the God Butcher."

Steve suddenly said, "Knull can sense the Necrosword’s location. If you don’t kill Him, you will never truly possess the Necrosword."

Gorr’s expression changed slightly. He turned back, looking at Hydra and the Doomsday Gate. "If I stay, He may take the Necrosword away. Besides, He has already lost."

"It isn’t over yet."

Steve said, "I hope you will stay and help us completely deal with Knull."

Gorr hesitated, then nodded. "Fine, but keep that god away from me. Otherwise, don’t blame me for cutting him down."

Thor, who was wildly unleashing lightning, said angrily, "You want to fight? I’ll oblige. I guarantee you’ll be satisfied."

Steve advised, "Gorr, Thor is a good god."

Gorr shouted, "There are no good gods in this world. All gods deserve to die."

Everyone was speechless, and Thor nearly lost his temper. Steve shook his head and said, "I wanted to bring you into the Avengers, but it seems that won’t be possible."

"I have no interest in joining any alliance. My mission is to kill all gods."

Gorr said with absolute determination. Tony scoffed. "Mission? You’re just venting your hatred toward gods."

Gorr could not be bothered to argue and stubbornly said, "All gods deserve to die."

Everyone shook their heads. Steve completely gave up on recruiting him into the Avengers. He tossed Gorr a set of nano-clothes and said, "Put these on first. I wouldn’t feel inferior, but certain people might."

Tony glared at Steve. That old man had really gone bad. So what if he had pecs and eight-pack abs? Once this was over, he was going straight back to Earth to work out.

"Who exactly are you people? Why are you so powerful?"

As Gorr got dressed, he could not help asking, "You are even stronger than gods, yet I can sense that most of you are human, not gods."

"We are Super Heroes from Earth. Other than Thor, we are all human."

Steve smiled. "Becoming a god means losing part of yourself, so we chose to remain human."

"A bunch of fools. Gods are the most noble beings."

Knull scoffed. "Gods represent not only infinite power, but eternal life. Compared to that, what does the self matter? When one day you die of old age, you will regret not becoming gods."

"Infinite power? Eternal life?"

Tony sneered. "You’re about to be killed by us. Where is your infinite power? And what use is your eternal life?"

Knull gritted His teeth in fury. Steve shook his head and said, "Gods are not noble, and humans are no worse than gods. One person has already proven that for us."

Everyone nodded. Jessica sneered, "That’s right. Before my Master, what difference is there between a so-called god like you and an ant?"

Knull had no response. He roared, "I will kill all of you! I will kill Blood God!"

"You can’t even defeat us. What makes you think you can be Blood God’s enemy?"

Electro said disdainfully. Gorr listened nearby in stunned disbelief. Someone was actually stronger than an ancient god like Knull? Was that real? I must meet this person if I get the chance.

Gorr thought to himself. He wanted to learn from that person and become even stronger. Only then could he kill all gods.

That was because all gods deserved to die.

"I can’t defeat you? You actually dare say that?"

Electro’s words provoked Knull into an immediate berserk rage. He roared, and the Doomsday Gate swelled madly, on the verge of exploding.

"He wants to take us down with him, Carol."

As Strange shouted, he aimed his palm at Carol. A Time Magic Array suddenly appeared around her.

Enveloped by the Time Magic Array, Carol rapidly constructed a Space Channel as though she had activated a speed hack. Then, she swept everyone and Hydra into it and fled into the distance through the Space Channel.

Knull choosing mutual destruction had not been beyond Steve and the others’ expectations. They had prepared a response long ago.

"Don’t even think about escaping."

Knull roared madly. The next moment, the Doomsday Gate, swollen to its limit, exploded. Doomsday Energy swept across the surroundings, turning the entire world into nothingness.

It truly became nothingness. The island below, the endless seawater, the clouds above, even the air—all of it turned into nothingness, as if the end of the world had arrived.

Seeing this from afar, the Super Heroes could not help releasing a breath. Good thing they had escaped quickly. Otherwise, they would have been dead for sure.

Tony said, "As expected of an ancient god. Good thing we made thorough preparations this time."

"Don’t let your guard down. It isn’t over."

Steve reminded them, "Keep watch on the surroundings. The moment the Doomsday Energy settles, we rush in and finish Knull for good."

"Okay."

Everyone nodded. At that moment, the sealed Hydra suddenly gave a ferocious grin. Its nine heads raised together, and enormous amounts of mud-like Doomsday Energy erupted crazily from its mouths, sweeping toward everyone.

"Damn it, everyone attack together."

Everyone was shocked and hurriedly used their own methods to block the Doomsday Energy.

Carol and the others were strong, but the Doomsday Energy was even more terrifying. The defense formed by their combined efforts rapidly crumbled under its erosion, forcing them to retreat quickly.

As Ivan used black holes to destroy the Doomsday Energy, he shouted, "Isn’t it obvious? Knull must have tampered with it and transferred the Doomsday Energy into Hydra’s body."

Tony cursed. At that moment, countless black threads surged from the Doomsday Energy and shot toward the Super Heroes at astonishing speed.

Strange shouted in alarm, "Careful, that’s Knull! We absolutely can’t let those threads enter our bodies, or He will fuse us into Himself."

Everyone’s expressions changed, and they hurriedly used their abilities against the threads. The problem was that the black threads were unimaginably fast. Even Tony, the most agile among them, nearly got entangled.

Carol noticed something. As she smashed the black threads with her fists, she shouted, "Strange, what’s going on? Why can He accelerate time?"

Strange answered with an ugly expression, "The Time Magic Array was destroyed by the Doomsday Energy."

At that moment, Knull’s sneer came from the black threads. "Do you think I would be so easily defeated by you? I am Knull, Knull the god who existed before the universe itself. I will fuse all of you and turn every one of you into my puppets."

As Knull roared, the number of threads suddenly increased tenfold. Combined with the surging Doomsday Energy, the Super Heroes were immediately placed in grave danger.
