#628
Bai Cangshu’s Vessel
Seraphina tilted her head back, gazing at the golden-red pillar of energy shooting into the sky. Like a key that had broken open Heaven’s gates, it directly transformed the skies.
The dark clouds that had shrouded this continent year-round vanished without a trace in an instant. The vast river of stars, absent for who knew how many years, appeared above this generation’s heads once more.
"So beautiful~"
The red-haired girl looked up and sighed. Crimson Blood continued to drip from her wrist, and Artoria, noticing it, was just about to step forward.
But Seraphina raised a hand and pointed at the sky.
Layer upon layer of golden Ripples nearly covered the entire continent. Within them, a massive eye contained countless tiny pupils. At that moment, the thing seemed ready to break free from its illusory space, twisting the space around the eye and dragging it thousands of meters downward.
On the other side, within the bronze vortex, an enormous dragon head emerged. Its black-red scales were densely packed, as if countless flames were flickering in and out of existence. As the dragon head appeared, the time-distorted space rapidly expanded.
In an instant, the bronze vortex seemed ready to cover half the sky as well.
Yet these two phenomena, which should have been incomparably terrifying and oppressive enough to crush the entire world, had now become mere supporting players.
Because an extreme power had appeared—so violent that everyone instinctively clutched their hearts and gasped for breath.
Standing upon the sea, the thousand-meter-tall crimson giant raised both hands. Its body was completely shrouded in golden energy, an aura so horrifying that even this world’s greatest secret arts masters had never seen such a terrifying tide of power.
Even more terrifyingly, beyond that already overwhelming tide of energy, an even greater mass of crimson blood mist enveloped it.
At every moment, countless chunks of flesh shattered from the thousand-meter giant’s body, turning into scale-like powder and surging into the unknown reaches of the sky alongside the energy shooting upward.
The agony of flesh flying everywhere seemed to give rise to countless wails beside Bai Cangshu’s ears. Those screams wrapped around his mind completely, enough to destroy most people’s sanity.
But not Bai Cangshu. He had long grown used to countless souls wailing within him day and night. Begging, weeping, insults, curses… no matter how intense their methods, he had long since become accustomed to them.
Their screams seemed like background music for his evolution. In such a "lively" environment, he only felt more exhilarated.
"Ha! Hahahaha!"
"I will break through that boundary!"
Four Times Kaio-ken!
Almost instantly, he felt nearly half the flesh on the exterior of his enormous body collapse. His blood vessels, internal organs, and bones were completely exposed and shattered over large areas.
With Kirin Armor activated and his normal triple-output mode engaged, Bai Cangshu’s Strength, Constitution, and Spirit attributes were already close to 180 in actual terms. Even his slightly weaker Agility was close to 150.
Not to mention that although Despair Salvation’s Collapse Value had not yet reached the level needed to activate Despair Savior Mode, it was already passively providing dozens of points in bonuses.
At this moment, Bai Cangshu in this world was powerful enough to make even the version of himself who had defeated Mahakala and the other two in a one-versus-three battle in the real world feel despair.
"Urgh… ah… ha!"
Bai Cangshu felt the terrifying power continuously bursting forth from within him. His mouth opened unconsciously, releasing meaningless roars.
It was an instinctive release after his power had been suppressed to its absolute limit.
You have activated Four Times Kaio-kenYour body has already exceeded its limit... Your body is about to collapseSpecial organism detected: Life Furnace. You are currently in Furnace State. Vitality greatly increasedBai Cangshu possessed high-level immortality and instantaneous regeneration that surpassed super-speed regeneration, yet even so, he normally could not activate Four Times Kaio-ken while in Kirin Armor state.
Just like in the Goddess’s Abode, that instantaneous burden would cause his body to collapse completely in an instant, leaving no opportunity for repair or regeneration.
What determined the difference in that burden was his vitality—or rather, his biological level!
Bai Cangshu had originally planned to rely on continuous eating. In the long run, Chef combined with Gourmet Cell could indeed steadily raise his biological level.
But he had not expected that this special Dragon Raja World he entered would "just so happen" to possess a Life Furnace—and that it would even absorb him into itself.
More importantly, the Crimson Blood he had previously drawn from Seraphina’s wrist seemed to contain the power to tame the ancient god wills within the countless bestial lifeforms inside the Life Furnace.
Amid all those coincidences, Bai Cangshu had achieved his supreme state at this very moment.
The Life Furnace’s terrifying biological level kept Bai Cangshu’s physical body from falling apart, while his horrifying vitality allowed the flesh-and-blood giant to immediately regenerate any flesh it lost.
Bai Cangshu only felt his power growing stronger and stronger, his entire being filled with power so immense that he was about to explode.
He instinctively threw back his head and roared. The shockwave pierced the heavens directly and shattered the sea of clouds. His terrifying presence completely suppressed Crimson Pope Lawrence and the fully revived King of Bronze and Fire.
Your total attributes have exceeded 2,000 points. Limiter forcibly activated...Limiter activation level increased. Current: 9%Limiter activation level increased. Current: 9.1%Limiter activation level increased. Current: 9.9%As though he had encountered an ultimate shackle, the Infinite Dimensional Space’s panel seemed to have bugged out, constantly flashing the same messages before Bai Cangshu.
After reaching 9.9%, the Limiter activation progress began repeatedly appearing.
Bai Cangshu closed his eyes. He could feel himself like an insect trapped in amber. Clearly, there was still greater power within him, yet it was locked inside his body and could not erupt.
Like a gas tank about to explode, sealed inside a tiny box.
That sense of restraint made Bai Cangshu feel smaller and more confined than ever before.
Ha, so this is the extent of my vessel!
Though Bai Cangshu had never said it aloud, he was immensely proud of his own power. Whether in the ordinary human world or after entering the Infinite Dimensional Space and facing all kinds of reincarnators,
In terms of sheer power and mastery over all kinds of abilities, he was absolutely unmatched!
Even a so-called Supreme Expert like the Great Sun of Finality was, in Bai Cangshu’s eyes, merely someone who had encountered this world earlier than him.
Give him just a little more time, and he could shatter them with a wave of his hand!
These people understood power far too shallowly. Their bodies were far too weak in their adaptability to power.
Weak. So weak. Ridiculously weak. All of them were so weak it was laughable!
Yet at this very moment, he also realized his own smallness. Though he had long known he could not possibly match the terrifying and unparalleled Broly or Nanami Yasuri,
He had never expected to touch his own limit so soon.
The limit of Bai Cangshu’s vessel.
On the flesh-and-blood giant’s blurred face, its brows and eyes arched violently upward, as though they would shatter its brow bones. Its entire expression twisted to the extreme.
It was an unruliness that continuously radiated from within, a fury and arrogance that would stop at nothing to surpass its limits.
From the bottom of his heart, Bai Cangshu believed that he was not someone limited to this extent. He would not remain at this level.
"Break for me!"
Crack!
It was as though an invisible force had broken through the final shackle, or as though the vessel wrapped beneath Bai Cangshu’s flesh had shattered.
