Blood God Appears

"These Super Heroes are stronger than I imagined."

Lucifer sighed and continued, "Unfortunately, no matter how hard they try, they’re doomed to be overestimating themselves."

"No matter how strong they are, their stamina and energy aren’t unlimited. In fact, they’re already getting tired. As long as we keep sending troops, we’ll wear them to death sooner or later."

The Gargoyle Lord sneered and, together with the Dragon God, Gabriel, and the others, sent more soldiers into the battlefield.

As time passed, the Inhumans and Super Heroes gradually fell into a disadvantage. The reason was simple: they were exhausted, and their equipment had suffered severe damage.

For example, Electro’s sixteen gun barrels had warped and could no longer fire alloy bullets. In fact, even if they could still fire, Electro himself could not—he desperately needed to recharge.

Damn it. I trained for so long and increased my "battery capacity" several times over, yet it’s still not enough. My body is like the phone of a hardcore mobile user—always running out of charge.

Electro sighed inwardly and quickly recharged under everyone’s protection.

It was not just Electro. The others were also somewhat exhausted. After all, superpowers consumed tremendous physical energy.

Only Hulk was an exception. The more he fought, the more excited he became. He battered the fat Fallen Angel backward again and again, making him scream endlessly. His defeat was only a matter of time.

"This isn’t fair! Why does your strength keep increasing the longer you fight?"

The fat Fallen Angel roared. At the beginning, their strength had been roughly equal, but Hulk’s power had continued rising. By now, he could no longer withstand Hulk’s fists.

"Never heard of leveling up in battle? I’m Hulk, the protagonist. You’re just a stepping stone."

Hulk shouted wildly and threw a punch, compressing the air as it slammed viciously into the Fallen Angel’s chest. The Fallen Angel screamed and flew backward, skidding hundreds of meters across the ground.

Hulk was about to leap over and deal him a brutal blow when more than a dozen pillars of flame blasted toward him at once, forcing him to dodge aside.

Immediately afterward, more than a dozen Fallen Angels appeared and surrounded Hulk. Then, the fat Fallen Angel climbed to his feet and said with a savage expression, "You have your cheat, and I have mine. Get him! Kill this bastard with me."

"Typical villain routine. No challenge. Hulk invincible."

Hulk was utterly fearless. He beat his chest, and his already enormous body swelled once more before the fat Fallen Angel’s horrified eyes.

Hulk could still hold on, but the others could not. Moreover, the Clone Corps and unmanned spacecraft were not doing well either. There were simply too many demons, impossible to kill off, endlessly pouring in.

The disparity in troop numbers was simply too great. The situation was gradually tilting toward the Elders of the Universe.

Lucifer said excitedly, "If nothing unexpected happens, the battle will be over within an hour."

"It won’t take that long. Those two Demon Altars are almost fully activated. Once they connect to Hell, it will be the end for Blood God and the others."

Grandmaster laughed. "Lucifer, you said earlier that you would be responsible for sealing the space. No problem, right? Whether it’s Blood God or the Super Heroes under his command, not a single one of them can be allowed to escape. Otherwise, there will be endless trouble."

Lucifer said, "Don’t worry. Gabriel is already prepared. The moment Blood God’s true body appears, he’ll immediately seal off this planet."

"You subcontracted it to Gabriel again?"

Grandmaster complained. At that moment, the Flame Demon Lord snorted coldly. "I don’t think Blood God can escape Hell at all."

The Gargoyle Lord said as well, "I think so too. There’s a Space Storm raging outside Adam Hell."

"I hope so, but we must prepare for the worst. After all, that’s Blood God."

Grandmaster did not argue. He glanced at the two super altars behind him and said, "The Blood God who wiped out all your projections and made your true bodies too afraid to show themselves."

The three Lords snorted in unison but did not refute him, because it was the truth.

Blood God was simply as terrifying as Ancient One had been back then.

In the sky, the Dragon God and Gabriel besieged Wang Bert. After a short period of coordination, the two gods had gradually developed some tacit understanding and were no longer as embarrassed as before. However, they still could not take down Wang Bert. His spatial abilities were simply too powerful.

The Dragon God shouted viciously, "Blood God, you’ll watch your people die one by one, then meet your end in despair."

"You idiot being used as someone else’s weapon."

Wang Bert smiled disdainfully and stabbed his spear into the Dragon God’s scales, forcibly prying off a dragon scale.

The Dragon God flew into a rage. His tail swept toward Wang Bert like a pillar of heaven as he sneered, "You’re the idiot. If we don’t act now, how will we share the benefits of the Main Universe afterward?"

"Hahaha, after waiting all these years, we can finally enter the Main Universe again. Earthlings are the finest food."

Gabriel frowned but said nothing. If they truly could not find God, perhaps he could let the dragons devour humanity. On one hand, that might force God out; on the other, he could use it as an excuse to wipe out the entire dragon race.

Gabriel had long been displeased with those greedy creatures.

"Dragon God, you’re courting death."

Wang Bert was enraged. He roared, "Annie!"

Along with Wang Bert’s roar, a dazzling mass of Vengeance Fire suddenly appeared in the void. It grew larger and larger, burning even space apart.

Immediately afterward, a bloody shadow flew from the burned-through space, transforming into countless blood threads that shot toward the Dragon God and Gabriel.

It was worth mentioning that these blood threads were not fake—Wang Bert’s true body had secretly flown out of Gladiator’s body and transformed into those blood threads.

"Blood God really has returned. No wonder the Avenging Angel never appeared. So he was preparing to burn through the void."

Lucifer and the others shouted in unison. They did not know how the Avenging Angel had helped Blood God escape Hell, but that was unimportant. What mattered was that Blood God’s true body had returned to the Main Universe.

The final weight in Grandmaster and the others’ hearts was lifted. Blood God’s return meant he had no other trump cards left. This time, he was definitely dead.

With so many Lords joining forces, along with Heaven and the Dragon Dimension, there was no reason for Blood God to survive.

Facing the incoming blood threads, the Dragon God smiled disdainfully. A large amount of green poisonous mist emerged around his body, then transformed into all kinds of blades and swords that slashed fiercely at the blood threads.

Gabriel pressed his palms together, and the phantom of a gigantic kneeling angel appeared beside him, protecting him firmly.

"Overestimating yourselves."

Wang Bert smiled disdainfully. Half the blood threads passed through the void and arrived beside the Dragon God, piercing toward his body.

The other half lit up with dazzling spatial light and shot toward Gabriel’s guardian angel with an unstoppable force.

Seeing the blood threads teleport over, the Dragon God was startled. The green poisonous mist abruptly contracted and enveloped the blood threads. Wang Bert shook the blood threads, and a spatial rift suddenly appeared, swallowing all the poisonous gas.

Immediately afterward, countless blood threads pierced through the Dragon God’s sturdy scales, dragon hide, and dragon flesh, hanging his thousand-meter-long body high in the sky.

At the same time, the other half of the blood threads forcibly pierced Gabriel’s guardian angel and suspended him in the air as well.

"Blood God’s true body is actually this powerful?"

Both the Dragon God and Gabriel were shocked. Though they were projections, Blood God was fighting two against one.

"Give me your blood."

Wang Bert shouted and controlled the blood threads to madly devour the Dragon God and Gabriel’s blood—their blood was formed from divine power and Dragon Force, and could be absorbed as well.

"You want my blood? Fine, take it. I hope you can withstand it."

Rather than being alarmed at having his blood drained, the Dragon God was delighted. He actively sent all the blood in his body to Wang Bert. He was a poisonous dragon, and his body was filled with toxic blood. He refused to believe Blood God could withstand his deadly poison.

Unlike the Dragon God, an incomparably gorgeous holy cloak appeared behind Gabriel. Then, his entire body turned into a phantom, easily escaping the blood threads’ restraints.

That was not all. After escaping, Gabriel flicked his cloak. The cloak flew into the sky and transformed into invisible energy, sealing the entire planet.

That was right, the entire planet had been sealed. The portal Wang Bert had opened flickered a few times before turning into specks of light and dissipating.

However, Grandmaster’s altars were unaffected—the cloak had opened a Backdoor for them.

Furthermore, the cloak only sealed external space. Space Magic could still be used within the planet. Gabriel had not sealed everything because he knew Wang Bert possessed the Space Stone, so he concentrated its power on blocking external space to prevent Wang Bert from escaping.

Immediately afterward, all the unmanned spacecraft lost control and fell from the sky. Even quantum fluctuations could not break through the cloak’s seal.

Half the blood threads formed Wang Bert’s phantom in the air. He stared at the cloak and asked coldly, "God’s Cloak?"

"That’s right. God’s Cloak possesses the concepts of traversal and sealing."

Gabriel smiled. "Blood God, even if you possess the Space Stone, you still cannot escape."

"When did I say I wanted to escape?"

Wang Bert sneered. "Do you think a mere Godly Armament can defeat me? If you want to kill me, you should have brought all the Godly Armaments."

"There are five Godly Armaments in total: Spear of God, God’s Cloak, Godly Armor, Godly Helmet, and Godly Shield."

Gabriel sighed. "Godly Armor and Godly Helmet disappeared together with God. Of the rest, we only have three.

"Blood God, hand over Spear of God, and I can spare your subordinates. As for you, no matter what happens, you are doomed to die today."

Spear of God had been sealed inside the Space Stone. Without Wang Bert unsealing it, even Heaven could not easily retrieve it. That was why Gabriel had said so much.

"Doomed to die? By trash like you, too afraid to face me with your true bodies?"

Wang Bert smiled disdainfully. The remaining half of the blood threads all wrapped around the Dragon God, and the Dragon God shriveled at a visible speed.

The Dragon God roared in disbelief, "Impossible! Why haven’t you been poisoned?"

"What can mere toxic blood do to me?"

Wang Bert said proudly. The toxic blood was fierce, but it could not harm his spatial body.

Wang Bert’s body had already transformed into half a spatial body. Unless it was a poison with conceptual properties, it could not harm him at all.

The Dragon God is powerful. If I can devour him, my body should be able to regain its balance.

Wang Bert did not waste words. He directly drained the Dragon God into a dried corpse, then destroyed the corpse and cursed, "Trash. Stay obediently hidden in the Dragon Dimension and wait for me to deal with you someday."

"Blood God, I will never let you go."

The Dragon God was enraged, but he did not send out his true body immediately. He was waiting—waiting for the other Demon Lords to make their move.

No matter what, Blood God had to die today.

After devouring the Dragon God’s projection, Wang Bert controlled over ten thousand blood threads and sent them stabbing down from the sky like spears, instantly piercing more than ten thousand dragons, demons, and angels.

Then, the blood threads madly devoured their blood, and more than ten thousand enemies screamed as they shriveled away.

"Wow, Blood God is way too strong, isn’t he? He instantly killed more than ten thousand enemies?"

Everyone shouted in disbelief. Skye blinked and asked, "Are we really the good guys? Isn’t that the kind of ability villains use?"

"No matter what ability Mr. Wang uses, it is righteous. Mr. Wang is the guardian god of the universe."

Electro said with a worshipful expression. Everyone rolled their eyes. They all knew Electro was Blood God’s biggest fan.

After devouring the blood of more than ten thousand enemies, the blood threads fused together and transformed into a sea of blood that blotted out the sky. The entire world suddenly darkened.

Then, Wang Bert’s face emerged from the sea of blood and shouted at Gabriel and the various portals, "I’m here. So what? You trash think you can kill me?"

"Arrogant. Blood God, you are doomed to die today."

Gabriel shouted angrily, "What are you waiting for? Come out."

With Gabriel’s shout, three towering figures with overwhelming auras stepped out from the portals.

The first was the Fallen Angel Lucifer. He stood three meters tall, with six pairs of black wings. Combined with his flowing black hair and handsome face, he was absurdly handsome. Only Adam could surpass him.

Next came the Gargoyle Lord, with bat wings, a gray body, crimson eyes, and a towering frame. He constantly let out eerie cackles. One look was enough to tell he was no good.

Then came the six-meter-tall Flame Demon Lord, his entire body burning with blazing fire and two enormous flaming blades in his hands, looking like a top enforcer of the underworld.

Seeing the three Demon Lords appear in their true bodies, the Dragon God did not waste words. His thousand-meter body flew into Ego Planet and soared through the sky, causing all the plants on the ground to wither and die.

"This isn’t over yet."

Grandmaster laughed loudly and activated the remaining two Demon Altars. Large numbers of Demon Beasts rushed out from the altars. At the same time, two powerful auras filled heaven and earth. Clearly, two more Demon Lords were about to descend.

"Blood God, five Hell Lords, one Dragon God, plus Gabriel and Michael of Heaven. Is that enough to kill you?"

Lucifer raised his black greatsword and said smugly, "This time, let’s see how you can keep acting arrogant."

"That’s right. Let’s see how you can keep acting arrogant."

Everyone shouted one after another. With such a lineup, let alone a mere Blood God, even an ancient god would gasp in shock.

After all, aside from Gabriel and Michael, everyone else was here in their true bodies. Their combat power was simply off the charts. Even Ego, the distant Celestial, was trembling somewhat in fear.

"Hahaha."

Faced with such a powerful lineup, Wang Bert was not afraid at all. Instead, he laughed excitedly. After acting for so long, he had finally lured these bastards out of Hell.

The strength of Demon Kings in Hell was several times greater than outside it. If one wanted to kill them, the best way was to lure them out of Hell.

Lucifer sneered. "Blood God, have you been frightened insane?"

"Yes, I’m insane. Insane with joy."

Wang Bert laughed loudly. A holy sun suddenly rose from the sea of blood. Then, it tore through space and descended mightily toward Lucifer, carrying countless rays of light.
