"Were you contaminated? Are you sure?" Zhang Ye looked at Moon Knight, who was drenched in cold sweat, somewhat surprised.

"Yes. If you hadn’t awakened me in time…" Moon Knight replied with lingering fear. "Deadpool ‘woke up’ just now and kept influencing my mind from inside my head. He was about to succeed."

Moon Knight’s voice was quiet, but no one present was ordinary. Every one of them could clearly hear his words and the terrifying incident he described. Aside from Zhang Ye, everyone instinctively took a step back, trying to get farther away from Deadpool’s head.

As if such a tiny gesture could give them a great deal of security.

"Looks like that thing is even harder to deal with than I imagined," Zhang Ye muttered, rubbing his chin.

Originally, Zhang Ye had planned to awaken Deadpool’s head and recite that command from the comics, to see whether he could wake the brainwashed Deadpool and have a conversation with him.

After all, that bizarre insect chrysalis had been summoned by a group of villains. Since Deadpool had been brainwashed and altered by them, he naturally knew something about that thing’s ultimate goal. With information from Deadpool, perhaps Zhang Ye could resolve some of the doubts in his heart.

But now, Zhang Ye did not dare act rashly.

Deadpool was now a massive source of contamination, even while unconscious.

Although Zhang Ye himself had not sensed any contamination of his mind from beginning to end, he could not guarantee everyone else’s safety. Even Moon Knight, who possessed divine power, had fallen victim while fully focused. That showed just how severe the contamination on Deadpool was.

Previously, Zhang Ye had suspected that perhaps he could not be contaminated because he did not belong to this universe, meaning that thing’s power could not invade his mind. But with Kara as an example, he was no longer so certain.

After all, Kara was not from this universe either. She did not even belong to the Marvel Multiverse, yet she had still suffered extremely severe contamination. Though she appeared to have sustained only a minor injury, the fact that a Man of Steel could be cut open by Deadpool’s blade already proved that Kara was not far from death.

Perhaps according to the comic’s plot, after the villains modified Deadpool and fused him with Ultron, even Kara would be unable to withstand Deadpool’s attacks.

Shaking his head helplessly, Zhang Ye waved a hand. A surge of dark green magical energy instantly wrapped around Deadpool’s head. Then, the energy gradually solidified, swiftly forming an exquisite box that sealed Deadpool inside.

Afterward, Zhang Ye silently called for Miss Minutes in his heart and had her open the Bottomless Void Universe that belonged solely to him. Without any hesitation, Zhang Ye tossed the box through the portal into that world.

Having done all that, Zhang Ye explained, "My magic can restrain Deadpool’s Healing Factor. He might not die, but he will never be able to escape. I’m not sure whether magic can cut off the contamination, so I can only send him to a world without any matter or laws for now."

Zhang Ye had considered throwing this massive source of contamination away before, sending it into another world, but he quickly rejected that idea. While tossing the contamination elsewhere would indeed solve the immediate problem, it would be no different from destroying another innocent Multiverse.

And placing Deadpool in another world would not truly solve anything. After all, that bizarre insect chrysalis born from darkness was still parasitizing this timeline. Removing the contamination would only treat the symptoms, not the root cause.

That said, Zhang Ye quickly thought of the universe that belonged solely to him. It was a vast place of immeasurable scale, containing no laws or life. Before Zhang Ye began throwing things into it, there had not even been any matter there.

Moreover, the concepts of "time" and "space" did not exist there. Without a medium, contamination naturally could not exist either.

After placing the box containing Deadpool’s head inside, it was like throwing an inconspicuous pebble into an abyss. It caused no ripples at all, which made Zhang Ye breathe a sigh of relief.

Only, the pile of gold coins Batman had sponsored him with could no longer be used. Zhang Ye did not know whether those coins would be contaminated by Deadpool, nor did he dare gamble on it. If those gold coins really had been contaminated…

However, John did not show it. No Dimension Lord wished to expose the domain they controlled, and for wizards, that was a major taboo. John still wanted to steal some energy from the dimensions Zhang Ye controlled in the future, so naturally, he would not offend Zhang Ye.

"I’ve dealt with those people quite a few times, but their exact location has yet to be determined. Give me some time, and I can investigate it," Moon Knight said seriously, gripping his phone.

Upon hearing that, Zhang Ye considered it briefly. Then he slowly shook his head and spoke.

"There’s no need. I’ll investigate those people. Contact the other surviving superheroes immediately. We can’t let anyone else be contaminated like Deadpool, and they need to understand just how serious this situation is!"
