Can You Understand?

After having Jarvis return to the lab, Tony headed straight for Summit Villa.

"You’re back? How did it feel to relax at the Celebrity Hotel for a month?"

When Harvey saw Tony arrive, he did not immediately bring up the beauty Tony had brought back. Instead, he asked with a smile.

"The experience was undoubtedly excellent."

"But if I kept indulging myself, I was afraid I’d become useless."

"So I came back to straighten out my mindset and prepare to get back to research."

"If I get the chance next time, I have to take Banner and Steve there so they can experience what exotic charm really means."

Tony was not surprised that Harvey knew he had gone to the Celebrity Hotel to enjoy himself, and he answered with a smile.

Eating, drinking, and having fun alone was not all that interesting.

Only when there were more people around, casually chatting and exchanging thoughts afterward, could that feeling of finding kindred spirits in life bring greater satisfaction.

"You have the thought, so Banner will definitely be happy to hear it."

"That guy hadn’t tasted that kind of pleasure in quite a few years."

Seeing Tony’s thoroughly satisfied expression, Harvey said with a smile.

"I knew Banner probably hadn’t had a real outlet in years."

"Once Banner can perfectly control Hulk, I’ll take him there."

"By the way, where’s Miss Sonia?"

Tony nodded in agreement, then glanced around and asked as if casually.

"She went out on business."

Seeing Tony’s manner, Harvey knew the guy definitely had something he wanted to discuss with him, so he did not expose him.

"Out on business… Miss Sonia is as busy as ever."

"But that works out perfectly, Kassadin. There are some things I want to discuss with you."

Upon hearing that Miss Sonia was not there, Tony spoke as though making an offhand remark before immediately getting to the point. His voice even lowered involuntarily.

"Go ahead."

Harvey did not make fun of Tony for looking so afraid of Sonia seeing him ask for a favor.

"While I was at the Celebrity Hotel, I paid for an entire year upfront."

"After enjoying myself for a month, I thought that was enough, so I planned not to go back for the time being."

"I was going to treat the remaining eleven months as vacation time for that woman."

"But that woman actually said I could get a refund, but I absolutely must not give her time off, because that would be harming her."

"That got my temper up. Who am I? I’m Tony Stark. Do I look like someone who cares about that little bit of money?"

"And I had no complaints about her service. On the contrary, I was extremely satisfied."

"Even if I didn’t stay there, I absolutely wouldn’t accept a refund."

"Do you understand this mindset of mine?"

Knowing Sonia was absent and that it was just the two of them, Tony earnestly explained the reason before finally posing a question.

"If you were satisfied with the service, then there really was no reason for a refund."

Harvey could barely suppress his laughter beneath his mask, but outwardly he looked as though he had carefully considered it before agreeing with Tony.

"But she said there was another way: I could take her away."

"She could work for me for eleven months, and once the room fee was completely used up, she could leave without worries."

"The secretary you found for me last time was capable enough, but her looks were only passable."

"I just got back, and I happen to be short a secretary. I approve of both her looks and her ability to get things done."

"So I want to bring her to Void Island for a while."

"What do you think?"

Seeing that Harvey agreed with his reasoning, Tony pressed on while the iron was hot.

"Is that why you brought that woman back?"

"But since you already brought her to the island, could I really step in just to drive her away because of one person?"

Seeing Tony try so hard to explain himself in hopes that he would agree, Harvey stopped teasing him and spoke with a smile.

"Good, as long as you agree…"

Tony had been racking his brains for ways to persuade Harvey, but upon hearing that, he immediately relaxed and replied with relief.

"Wait, so you already knew she was here?"

"You never intended to drive her away in the first place?"

Then Tony realized something and looked at Harvey in disbelief.

"Of course not. Void Island isn’t inhabited only by Void Cult members."

"She’s just one ordinary person. She can’t stir up any trouble anyway, so what is there to care about?"

"And Sonia went out on business because she went to see that beauty and learn about the situation."

"Since you were willing to discuss it with me, I had even less reason to drive her away."

Harvey smiled and nodded.

"Then why didn’t you say so earlier?"

"I was still thinking of ways to convince you."

Tony was somewhat speechless and complained irritably.

"You had barely said two words when you told me you had something to discuss with me."

"Shouldn’t I have listened to what you had in mind?"

Harvey spread his hands and spoke as though it were only natural.

"Forget it. As long as I know you won’t drive her away, that’s enough."

Tony wanted to say a few more things upon seeing Harvey’s expression, but since the outcome was good, he did not dwell on it.

"But don’t say I didn’t warn you. Be careful Pepper finds out."

Once Harvey saw that Tony was at ease, he spoke up.

"I haven’t even had a one-night stand with her. What am I worried about Pepper for?"

Tony was not afraid in the slightest and answered openly.

As for enjoying himself at the Celebrity Hotel, he would never let Pepper find out. As long as Pepper did not know about those things, she could not make a scene.

"As long as you know what you’re doing, go do your work."

Harvey did not care whether Tony truly understood or was merely pretending. In any case, if Pepper really found out and made a scene later, it would not affect him.

"Yeah."

After receiving Harvey’s permission to let Lalatina stay temporarily on Void Island, Tony had already intended to leave. Hearing this, he stood up and departed directly through the front door.

At the very moment Tony left,

Sonia had also arrived at the Records Temple.

As soon as she entered the temple, Sonia saw the tall, dignified back of a woman with long brown hair.

"Lalatina?"

Seeing that familiar figure, Sonia called out uncertainly.

"Sonia-senpai."

Lalatina had been chatting with Sarah. When she heard someone call her, she turned around, and upon seeing who it was, she greeted her with a smile.

"What did you promise Mr. Tony?"

After confirming that it really was Lalatina, Sonia immediately walked up to her and asked.

To be honest, she had never expected that the beauty Mr. Kassadin said Mr. Tony had brought back would be Lalatina.
