Captain America Descends from the Sky
Had he fallen just like that?
Standing not far away, Blonsky was very displeased.
Dying in battle was a soldier’s destiny. Having a powerful enemy was a soldier’s honor.
I endured pain beyond ordinary people’s imagination to become this strong. How can you fall before I defeat you?
Hulk, get up!
Blonsky secretly cheered Hulk on, practically itching to rush over and give him mouth-to-mouth.
Soon, he saw a pair of hands press against the glass of the skybridge, slowly turning green, growing thicker and larger.
Cracks appeared in the tough glass.
Everyone heard an enraged roar as a tall, burly figure emerged from the mist.
Then,
He jumped down!
Boom!
The entire ground shook. A Hulk standing two and a half meters tall and weighing six hundred kilograms appeared before everyone.
Every muscle on his body defined what true strength was. The greatest strongmen and bodybuilders were as weak and insignificant as chicks before him.
Just looking at him made people dizzy. Standing less than a hundred meters away from him, even battle-hardened special forces soldiers could not help trembling inwardly.
How the hell are we supposed to fight this?
Blonsky clenched his fists. This was the enemy he wanted.
Come on, let me see your real strength!
General Ross, on the other hand, breathed a sigh of relief. He glanced at his stunned daughter and thought that this was fine too. She would see the truth and never be with that guy again.
Remember this!
You are the daughter of Thaddeus E. Ross!
He picked up the radio and gave the order in a deep voice:
"Team A, attack from the front!"
"Team B, surround them from the flanks!"
"Prepare the Sonic Cannons!"
"Where are the Iron Soldiers?"
A colonel hurriedly replied, "General, five Azeroth No. 3 Air Force Soldiers have been requested. They can arrive within ten minutes."
General Ross grunted.
He had purchased the Iron Soldiers, but they belonged to the command headquarters rather than him. He still had to submit a request to use them.
Waiting another ten minutes would not have been a problem, but who knew that Blonsky would act on his own? He had run out before even the snipers were in position, ruining my plan!
Strange.
Blonsky was a true soldier. He had always obeyed orders, yet today he had acted without authorization.
What exactly had happened?
Was there something wrong with his brain?
Could it be related to the Super Soldier Serum he had been injected with?
There was no time to think. A fierce battle had already broken out.
More than a dozen military vehicles surrounded the small woods at Culver University. Over a hundred elite soldiers held automatic rifles and machine guns. Every one of them was an expert marksman, able to hit every shot.
Thousands of bullets, each capable of killing an ordinary person in a single hit, rained down on Hulk’s body without even leaving a white mark.
"Fifty-millimeter cannons, fire!"
Ross roared furiously.
Teachers and students from Culver University were watching from afar, and who knew how many were recording videos. They could not silence everyone in public.
He had failed repeatedly over the past five years. This time, he had mobilized so many troops and used weapons worth tens of millions of dollars, including the Super Soldier Serum and the Azeroth Iron Soldiers worth 1.5 billion dollars.
He had made promises in every direction and had practically gambled away his future.
If he still could not capture that guy, he could not imagine what would happen to him.
He probably would not be able to remain in the military any longer!
Did he really have to develop a career in the unfamiliar world of politics?
Two armored vehicles sped forward as their large-caliber cannons fired.
Yet the shells only left brief flashes of fire on Hulk’s body. They could not break through his defenses at all.
Suddenly!
Hulk charged wildly, barreling straight into an armored vehicle before slamming into it from the side.
Boom!
The armored vehicle was sent flying, rolling across the ground several times!
Blonsky, who had been watching the battle, shuddered. A surge of almost orgasmic exhilaration rose within him.
That heavy armored vehicle weighed at least ten tons, yet Hulk had casually knocked it flying. His strength was far beyond twenty tons.
This was the enemy I wanted!
"Damn Hulk, he’s even stronger than expected!"
The Iron Soldiers had not arrived yet. General Ross gritted his teeth. "Are the Sonic Cannons ready? Blonsky, lure him over!"
Two armored vehicles carrying Sonic Cannons manufactured by Stark Industries rushed over from afar.
At the same time, Blonsky carried a large-caliber anti-materiel rifle and shouted:
"Cover me!"
"Monster, remember me?"
"I’m your terminator!"
The special bullets could easily penetrate six-millimeter-thick homogeneous steel plates within a hundred meters, yet they could not hurt Hulk in the slightest, not even his skin.
Instead, the slight pain they caused enraged Hulk.
He suddenly grabbed the metal plating from the armored vehicle he had destroyed, using one piece in each hand as shields to block the torrent of bullets before charging forward.
His powerful physique gave him incredible speed, but he was somewhat lacking in agility.
He had not been a soldier and had never received professional combat training, so Blonsky easily lured him in front of the Sonic Cannons.
Then…
Fire!
Boom!
The terrifying sonic blast destroyed the flowers and grass on the ground. The armored vehicles nearby shook, and Blonsky, who had leaped five meters into the air, was heavily blasted away as well.
Taking ninety percent of the Sonic Cannon’s power head-on, Hulk bent his knees and hunched over, blocking it with ease. But because the ground did not provide enough friction, he was violently pushed back and fell to the ground.
Seeing her boyfriend defeated, Betty hurriedly ran before General Ross, waving her arms. "Stop! You’ll kill him! No!"
"Get out of the way!"
His daughter had seen everything and was still protecting that monster. General Ross felt miserable, his anger blazing.
"Increase the power!" he shouted.
"General, it’s already at maximum power!" a soldier hurriedly reported.
Hearing Betty’s cries, Hulk’s rage soared. He forced himself up from the ground and grabbed his "shields."
Then he hurled them with all his strength.
His enormous strength gave them bullet-like speed. One "shield" sliced through a Sonic Cannon and an armored vehicle at the same time, then he leaped high into the air and smashed into the other Sonic Cannon.
The Sonic Cannon and armored vehicle were destroyed together by the tremendous impact.
This scene truly defined savagery and violence.
"A bunch of idiots, it’s only been three minutes!"
General Ross raised his hand to glance at his watch and shouted, "Where’s the helicopter? Attack!"
Rumble!
A helicopter flew in from the distance.
At that moment, Blonsky walked step by step toward Hulk.
"Got any more tricks?"
"Is that all you can do?"
He looked at Hulk, his eyes full of disdain.
Looking at the little runt strutting around in front of him, Hulk’s rage soared again.
What the hell? Anything can act this arrogant these days.
Even more arrogant than me!
Hulk was angry, and the consequences were severe.
He raised his foot,
And kicked.
No one could see his movement. No one even realized that he had kicked.
Within one twenty-fourth of a second, faster than human vision could react, his leg and foot had returned to their original positions.
But Blonsky had already flown away like a bullet, smashing heavily into a tree that would have taken three people to wrap their arms around.
He did not even let out a muffled groan before collapsing like a pile of mud.
The soldiers instinctively backed away in unison, their legs trembling.
Even if they had to face a tank head-on, they would not have blinked.
But the problem was…
That monster was more terrifying than a hundred tanks!
"Bruce…" Betty was completely stunned. As though drawn in by that indescribable wildness, she involuntarily walked toward him.
Rat-a-tat-tat!
The helicopter attacked!
The endless stream of bullets hitting Hulk was lighter than ant bites.
"Betty!"
A heart-wrenching scream came from afar. Betty’s current boyfriend was nearly going insane.
Betty, you ignore me and go take care of your ex-boyfriend. Fine, I can endure that.
But it’s too dangerous over there! You’re too close to that guy. The helicopter might hit you by mistake!
Hulk was enraged once more and threw out the other "shield" in his hand.
Whoosh!
The near-sonic shield severed the helicopter’s rotor, sending it crashing down amid a blaze of fire.
Hulk turned and embraced Betty.
The surging wave of flames was blocked. Betty fainted.
The blazing fire burned fiercely. Hulk picked Betty up, gave General Ross a deep look, then turned and walked toward the edge of campus.
No one could stop him, and no one dared to.
"It’s only been five minutes!"
General Ross gritted his teeth.
That guy was too smart.
Once he escaped and returned to his original form, it would not be so easy to track him down again.
The Iron Soldiers were flying in from over a thousand kilometers away and would still take another five minutes to arrive.
Who could stop Hulk?
Who could save his daughter?
Ross clenched his fists and fell into deep despair.
Just then,
A round shield flew in from the air and struck Hulk’s arm.
Its sharp edge was more terrifying than any tactical knife, bringing him the greatest pain he had felt in five years…
Though it still did not break his skin.
He paused and looked ahead.
The round shield flew back and was caught by a hand.
A man wearing a comic-book-style World War II uniform descended from the sky.
