"Did that useless Shilik die?"

On the private jet flying to Stuttgart, Mephisto glanced toward America, looking displeased. He had thought he could trick Blood God, but Shilik had died so quickly! "Damn Blood God… Forget it, this side is more important!"

Mephisto cursed under his breath and turned his attention back to the man in green ahead of him. The man was watching the movie Thor. As he watched, he loudly cursed, "How does that idiot playing Loki look anything like me? My hairline isn’t nearly as high as his!

"Wow, the actor playing Thor looks way too much like him, doesn’t he? Once I conquer Earth, I’ll capture him and make him perform plays of Thor getting beaten up for me every day! Ivan swung his Electric Whip around Loki. Loki’s entire body convulsed from the electricity, but he did not die, nor was he seriously injured. His hair merely stood on end—such was the power of a god’s body combined with a god’s armor!

Ivan shouted unhappily as he lashed his whip at Loki again. Tony blasted Loki away with a Pulse Cannon, then sneered. "You’re the one holding me back!"

Loki gritted his teeth. Those two bastards would not even give him a chance to surrender. He had come today to fake a surrender, damn it!

Steve could not stand it any longer and shouted, "You two, watch yourselves! Until we recover the Tesseract, Loki can’t die!"

Laughter rang through the base. How primitive. But the next scene stunned everyone—the cloaks lit up with energy and blocked every single bullet! Immediately afterward, the Wakandan soldiers in the back aimed their spears at the mercenaries. Beams of energy shot out, piercing straight through the mercenaries.

"Wakanda forever!"

The soldiers in the front used their cloaks as shields and advanced forward while the soldiers in the rear continuously fired their spears. The mercenaries were no match for them. They were quickly defeated and scattered in every direction.

The base fell deathly silent. General Hale said gravely, "Energy weapons, energy cloaks! It seems the intelligence we received was correct!"

Rhodey smiled bitterly. "Honestly, I wish it had been wrong."

General Hale ignored Rhodey and asked Frank, "Can War Abomination deal with them?"

"That depends on whether they have Vibranium aircraft and Vibranium tanks."

Rhodey could not help saying, "General Hale, shouldn’t we contact Wakanda first? Maybe this can be resolved peacefully!"

General Hale said, "Once our army is at their borders, we can take our time contacting them. Send that recording to the navy!"

Thor said unhappily, "Your research into the Tesseract is the same as announcing to the universe that you’re prepared for advanced warfare. You brought all this upon yourselves!"

"We brought it upon ourselves? We didn’t invite you to Earth!"

The argument grew increasingly heated. Almost every Super Hero joined in, and none of them noticed that the Mind Scepter on the table was emitting a faint glow! Their emotions were all being influenced by the Mind Scepter! At that moment, Hawkeye arrived at the Helicarrier aboard Transport Plane 66B. He then drew his bow and shot an arrow into the Helicarrier’s third engine. With a boom, the arrowhead exploded, blowing the entire engine to pieces! The Helicarrier shook violently. Dr. Banner and Natasha crashed through the glass and fell to the level below! Once the shaking stopped, everyone hurriedly climbed to their feet. Steve shouted, "Enemy attack! Tony, get your armor on now!"

"Okay!"

Tony, Ivan, and Rumlow hurried toward the armory while everyone else split up. For example, Nick Fury went to the command room to determine what was happening!
