Chapter 187

"Are you just going to ignore me like that?"

As Emperor and Raven argued over how to soothe the furious Malcador,

Kuro Kami felt humiliation unlike anything he had ever known.

He was the oldest god in this dimensional world.

He was the one who controlled humanity’s fate.

And yet, he had been defeated by a group of people who had appeared out of nowhere.

They had even humiliated and ignored him like this.

This was going too far!

Indescribable rage surged within him.

At that moment, his subordinates—the beast-form angels—arrived from all over the world.

These beast-form angels were Kuro Kami’s helpers in controlling the world.

Each had been bestowed with a divine name.

For example, the God of Wind, the God of Earth, the God of Water, and the God of Fire.

When they saw Kuro Kami defeated, they all switched into their strongest forms.

"A bunch of trash." Kamen Rider Zi-O’s gaze was icy as he charged forward with the Ultimate Saber in hand.

Together with Decade, he easily defeated those so-called angels.

The sight left Tetsuya Sawaki, the transformed form of this dimensional world’s protagonist—Kamen Rider Agito—utterly dumbfounded.

After all, every one of those gods was extraordinarily powerful. Even he and his companions had only been able to barely defeat them by joining forces.

Yet now, those two Riders dealt with them as easily as slaughtering chickens and dogs.

"Has the battle of destiny ended just like that?" Tetsuya Sawaki stared wide-eyed, unable to believe what he was seeing.

In ancient times, two twin Riders with overwhelming power, Kuro Kami Touma and Shiro Kami Promise, had created this dimensional world together.

But Kuro Kami Touma wanted humanity to obey him unconditionally and regard him as a god.

Shiro Kami Promise, however, wanted humanity to walk its own path and attain true happiness.

Their conflicting ideals erupted into war.

But Kuro Kami Touma was stronger, and he defeated Shiro Kami Promise.

To keep the humans of this dimensional world from being enslaved, Shiro Kami Promise sacrificed himself.

He released his power and planted a seed within every human heart.

The seeds would guide those with firm convictions to obtain power and resist Kuro Kami’s rule.

Thus, awakened individuals continued to emerge among humanity, launching assault after assault against the gods.

Though they failed time and again, they never gave up.

Kuro Kami also suppressed the awakened with ruthless measures.

He ordered the beast-form angels to patrol the world. Whenever they discovered anyone showing signs of awakening, they would kill them without hesitation.

Yet this long-standing battle of destiny came to an end in an unexpected way.

Powerful beings from other universes brought Kuro Kami’s rule to an end.

"I will not lose like this!" Kuro Kami roared.

Surging dark power poured into his body, transforming him into a Kamen Rider.

"What are you yelling for?!" A mechanical tentacle from Primal Heavenly Venerate struck Kuro Kami, forcing him out of his Rider form and making him kneel once more.

It nearly drove him into an emotional collapse.

Just who were these people?!

Why were they so powerful?

He clearly possessed the power of a god, so why was he still losing?!

"Strip him of his power." Raven looked at Kuro Kami. There was no need to be polite with someone who thought himself above all others and believed he could control other people’s fate.

Waldo nodded and stepped forward.

With a casual swing of the war halberd in his hand, streaks of light appeared over Kuro Kami’s body.

Kuro Kami’s power dissipated, turning him into an ordinary mortal.

"No!" Kuro Kami wailed.

But no one paid him any attention. Just like that, he was taken away.

At that moment, ripples spread through the air as countless holy lights emerged.

A female Kamen Rider appeared before Emperor and Raven.

"Welcome to my universe, honored guests."

She was the true creator of the Kamen Rider Universe, Kamen Rider Zero, also known as Kamen Rider Origin.

The Kamen Riders themselves had been created by her.

"Oh yeah, the host has finally shown herself." Raven sized up Kamen Rider Origin before him. "Looks like we’ve caused some serious trouble."

"Not at all. On the contrary, I am deeply grateful for your arrival. You have given the Kamen Rider Universe more possibilities."

Origin released her Rider form and became a beautiful woman.

"I appeared here to thank you, not because I have any grievance with you."

"Then can you get me some new flavors of fries?" Raven shamelessly scooted closer.

Emperor, Waldo, Primal Heavenly Venerate, Kamen Rider Zi-O, and the others all twitched at the corners of their mouths.

No matter the occasion, Raven never forgot about his fries.

Origin stretched out both hands, and a steaming serving of fries appeared in them.

"The flavor is not new, but they are still very delicious."

"Fine." Raven was a little disappointed, but before long, he cast that disappointment aside and happily began eating the fries.

Origin walked over to Emperor and Primal Heavenly Venerate.

"Please help me protect this universe. Those powerful enemies are approaching, and they will be here soon."

"You mean those things wandering outside the void?" Emperor asked.

Origin nodded.

"Yes. Their tendrils have already entered the Kamen Rider Universe."

She opened a screen of light, revealing several worlds filled with countless twisted monsters.

"They have all been contaminated, and the guardian Riders within have become detestable monsters. I once tried to guide some powerful Riders to destroy them, but I failed."

The screen changed, revealing dozens of Riders who wielded supreme power.

They charged into the corrupted worlds of flesh and fought those terrifying enemies.

However, the monsters were endless, and in the end, they swallowed the Riders whole.

The Riders’ powerful convictions were twisted into desire, and they ultimately fell into becoming even more terrifying monsters.

"In the end, I had no choice but to isolate those worlds. But these are only the tendrils of the contamination. The enemy’s true body has not yet descended."

Origin’s tone carried despair.

Once the enemy’s true body descended, the Kamen Rider Universe would be no different from those corrupted universes. It would only receive a bleak and utterly hopeless ending.

That was why she had taken the initiative to reveal herself.

She hoped to seek help.

"This matter…" Emperor looked at Raven.

Raven sensed his gaze. "No problem. We already agreed to help Aeon, so agreeing to one more won’t hurt. We can establish an alliance for mutual offense and defense."

Emperor nodded and turned to Origin.

"We can agree, but you must also be mentally prepared. Allies need to help one another."

"Do not worry. Whenever you need me, summon me."

Origin handed Emperor a summoning card.

"As long as you use it, I will come."

After leaving those words behind, Origin vanished.

"Hey, hey, hey!" Raven shouted repeatedly. "Don’t leave yet! Help us figure out how to coax someone, will you?!"

Origin did not respond, leaving Raven with nothing but air.

"Let’s go find the other Primarchs. With more people, we can share more of the burden. And while we’re at it, find a sweet girl to help us figure out how to coax an angry old man."

Raven’s eyes spun as he came up with a good idea.

The moment he thought of it, he acted. He directly opened a spatial-temporal gateway and led everyone to the dimensional world where Sanguinius was located.

Surely Angel-chan’s looks would at least make Malcador restrain himself a little.

Kamen Rider Universe, Ryuki Dimension.

"Odin, where are you?"

"Why haven’t you come out lately?"

"Come out already and let us take you down."

Shinji Kido, the transformed form of Kamen Rider Ryuki, searched several places where Kamen Rider Odin might appear.

But he found nothing.

The Kamen Rider Odin Shinji Kido was searching for was currently hiding in a secluded corner of the Mirror World, wallowing in isolation.

His true name was Shiro Kanzaki, and he was the holder of the Phoenix Card in the Mirror World.

He had once been a professor at Seimeiin University. Along with Professor Hitoshi Ejima, he researched the Mirror World, touched upon the hidden rules of the universe, and gained the power to transform.

To fulfill his desire to keep his younger sister alive, he maliciously made the Riders slaughter one another and brought the Mirror World into contact with the real world, causing many people to die in Mirror Monster attacks.

But everything changed with Sanguinius’s arrival.

This angel, who possessed tremendous power, easily killed the Mirror Monsters, stopped the Riders’ infighting, and established a barrier between the real world and the Mirror World, preventing Mirror Monsters from harming people in reality.

Furious upon realizing that his plan had been ruined, Shiro Kanzaki launched attack after attack, intending to erase the one who dared to interfere with his plans.

The result was that Sanguinius, along with a group of Riders, beat him senseless.

In the end, he escaped only because of the Phoenix Card’s special nature within the Mirror World.

But now he had become a homeless dog, hiding everywhere in constant fear.

Unable to find Odin, Shinji Kido had no choice but to return to Hana-dori Cafe first.

At that moment, Sanguinius elegantly drank coffee while examining the corpse of a Mirror Monster.

He was using the Blood Angels Gene Engine to analyze the fallen Mirror Monster.

Ren Akiyama, the transformed form of Kamen Rider Knight, and Yui Kanzaki stood nearby.

"Another fruitless trip?" Ren Akiyama saw Shinji Kido return empty-handed and guessed the outcome.

"That guy knows where he’s hiding." Shinji Kido said irritably.

Yui Kanzaki said nothing, but she visibly breathed a sigh of relief.

After Sanguinius arrived and established the barrier between the real world and the Mirror World,

the Riders and she learned the truth of this world.

They learned that the reason the Riders had been killing one another was because her brother sought to obtain a new life and extend her own.

Yui Kanzaki had died long ago, but the power of the Mirror World had sustained her life, though only until she turned twenty.

To keep Yui Kanzaki alive, Shiro Kanzaki had orchestrated this Rider War, all so he could defeat the final victorious Rider and use the new life obtained to extend Yui’s life.

But in the process, too many innocent people had died.

What was worse, this was not the first time.

Shiro Kanzaki used the time he controlled to restart the cycle again and again.

All to save Yui. But when the truth was revealed, kind-hearted Yui often could not accept it and chose to end her own life.

Then Shiro Kanzaki would restart everything once more.

Again and again.

Until he had repeated it so many times that he had even lost his humanity.

If this continued, the space-time of this dimensional world would eventually be unable to endure it and would ultimately head toward complete annihilation.

To stop all this, Shiro Kanzaki had to be eliminated.

Yui had once suffered greatly. Her brother had wronged everyone except her.

Therefore, she could not hate Shiro Kanzaki as the others did.

But so many lives, along with a world on the verge of destruction, needed an answer.

"Sanguinius, where do you think that guy is hiding?"

Shinji Kido asked Sanguinius beside him.

"We will find him soon. Once I finish analyzing this universe’s rules, I can seize the thread of his fate."

Sanguinius answered this dimensional world’s protagonist casually.

Under normal circumstances, a Primarch would not pay attention to mortals.

But who could ignore Shinji, the adorable, kind-hearted, and hopeless protagonist of this dimensional world?

Suddenly, a spatial-temporal tunnel appeared out of thin air.

Shinji Kido and Ren Akiyama immediately became alert, revealing their Rider Cards and preparing to fight at any moment.

"Don’t do anything rash. It’s Mr. Raven and my father."

Sanguinius hurriedly stopped them.

"Father?" Shinji Kido’s eyes widened.

He had not expected the godlike Sanguinius to have a father.

Ren Akiyama and Yui beside him also widened their eyes.

"Oh! Oh! My Little Angel."

Raven flapped his wings as he flew out of the spatial-temporal tunnel, landing on Sanguinius’s shoulder.

"Mr. Raven." Sanguinius smiled and offered Raven a sincere greeting.

Emperor, Waldo, Primal Heavenly Venerate, and the others also passed through the spatial-temporal tunnel one after another, arriving at the cafe.

"Father." Sanguinius bowed to Emperor, though his tone was not as gentle as when he spoke to Raven.

The Emperor nodded.

Yet inwardly, he felt a burst of frustration.

My precious son was just whisked away like that!!

"Are you Mr. Raven?"

Shinji Kido walked over and bowed to Raven. "I’m sorry to disturb you. You’re Sanguinius’s elder, so you must possess abilities even greater than his. Please help us find Kamen Rider Odin and save this world."

"There’s no need to rush over something as trivial as saving the world," Raven said. "We have something more urgent right now."

With that, Raven turned to Sanguinius. "Did you know that Malcador dumped Terra’s government affairs on Horus?"

"I did. Not long ago, Horus contacted me and asked me to return to Terra." Sanguinius nodded. "I was wondering why the Seal Master suddenly abandoned his duties."

A trace of awkwardness flashed across Raven, the Emperor, and Waldo’s faces.

"You don’t need to think about that. Malcador is probably furious right now, so you need to figure out a way to placate him." As Raven spoke, he spotted Yui. "This little girl is pretty nice—cute and innocent. Hey, kid, do you know how to cheer up an old man?"

Yui’s eyes widened. "Huh??"

"Right, Old Ma is so old, and he doesn’t even have a son or daughter. How about this? When you meet him, call him Grandpa. I bet he wouldn’t dare get angry at a child."

"It’s settled, then. When he arrives, call him Grandpa. Remember, the sweeter you say it, the better. Maybe he’ll even give you a gift."

Raven felt like a genius.

The Emperor and Waldo’s mouths twitched.

That train of thought was truly bizarre.

"If I help you, can you help me find my brother?"

Yui hurriedly said, "He’s the Kamen Rider Odin Shinji mentioned."

"I already said it’s a small matter. I can help you find him right now." Raven looked at Primal Heavenly Venerate. "Go find him and bring him here."

Sometimes, Primal Heavenly Venerate truly wanted to spray Raven to death with a mouthful of 1982 motor oil.

He was a Creator, for heaven’s sake, yet he was ordered around like this every day. Where was he supposed to put his old metal face??

This was too much.

If it could be endured, then… fine, he could keep enduring it.

Angry as he was, Primal Heavenly Venerate still obediently did as he was told.
