Chapter 57: Transformation
By now, Godzilla was able to control the high temperatures of the Fusion Reactor.
As Godzilla's thoughts stirred, the last trace of red light also vanished from the crevices of his scales.
The high temperature emanating from the Fusion Reactor was absorbed by his G-cells.
Although Godzilla didn't gain any offensive abilities this time, the survival capability of his G-cells undoubtedly reached a new level!
This also meant that if Godzilla didn't control his G-cells and allowed them to proliferate, then just one drop of his blood could cover the entire planet in not too long. Most importantly, during this process, it's highly possible that people wouldn't even discover traces of his G-cells!
This was the most terrifying aspect!
If G-cells' proliferation could have been detected and reacted to in time before, now they might not discover anything at all.
Of course, the premise was that the reaction when G-cells produced nuclear energy wouldn't be discovered.
After all, it was too conspicuous.
Godzilla thought for a moment, he didn't seem to have left any of his body tissue elsewhere, did he?
And even if he did, they were all from before his evolution, nothing to worry about.
So, Godzilla closed his eyes, rested his head, and fell into a deep sleep.
His scales were inadvertently shaped this time, and Godzilla planned to modify them further.
Speaking of modification, it was actually about adding a thick layer of skin beneath his scales.
To add another layer of defense for himself.
Scales, skin, muscle, bones – with these layers of defense, it would be almost impossible to attack Godzilla's vital organs.
So, Godzilla began to ponder how thick this layer of skin should be – and Godzilla himself might have forgotten that he had left his mark in multiple worlds.
A piece of "scalp" in Pacific Rim, and flesh and blood tissue in the world of the thing.
In the world of the thing, Godzilla had once roasted his flesh and blood in an iron box with fire.
Finally, the outer layer of flesh and blood was roasted into charcoal.
Godzilla broke open the charcoal and dug out the intact flesh and blood inside to recover it.
But was the flesh and blood in those charcoals really dug out completely?
Godzilla opened his eyes. This time, adding a layer of skin under his existing skin greatly increased his defensive power.
It just made Godzilla look a bit fatter.
There was no other way. To make that layer of skin's defense stronger, besides its structure, thickness was equally important.
Reducing muscle was obviously unrealistic, so Godzilla could only make himself a bit fatter.
From the results, the outcome was still good.
And merely being a bit fatter didn't have much of an impact on Godzilla.
It was like wearing a thick coat; he just needed to get used to it.
When Godzilla got up, he noticed a thin layer of sediment on his body.
Godzilla shook his body, wanting to get rid of the dirt, but the result was clearly not ideal.
So, Godzilla lay back down, called over the Engineers, and had them clean his scales.
Furthermore, Godzilla decided that from now on, whenever he went into a long sleep, he would have the Engineers clean his body.
Although Godzilla didn't have any particular obsession with cleanliness, he found it hard to tolerate being so dirty.
If he was asleep, it was fine, as he couldn't feel it.
But once he woke up, he couldn't stand it.
While the Engineers were busily cleaning Godzilla's scales all over his body, Godzilla contacted the main brain of the Monster Factory, preparing to check the status of the Monster Factory and whether large Kaiju had been produced yet.
Because there was no threat and it had already been moved underground, the Monster Factory was in very good condition.
Both the Engineers and the Watchers, the Monster Factory had stopped production.
Because the current numbers of these two types of small Kaiju were already completely sufficient.
So, the Monster Factory, apart from what was needed for its own growth, was now dedicating most of its energy to producing large Kaiju.
And the Monster Factory's process for producing large Kaiju was slightly different from the Precursors' process for producing Kaiju.
The Precursors first produced one part after another, then assembled them as needed.
The Monster Factory, on the other hand, first cultivated an adult Kaiju, and if it wasn't satisfactory, then modified it!
And now, a large Kaiju had grown considerably, and would be born in a few days at most.
This large Kaiju adopted the Kaiju template.
After all, the Precursors were professionals when it came to producing Kaiju.
The Kaiju Godzilla cultivated this time looked like an ordinary, unremarkable lizard-shaped Kaiju.
However, its head had a hard, thick ramming horn.
This ramming horn had no other special abilities; it was just an ordinary ramming horn.
And this Kaiju's body was equipped with an Electromagnetic Pulse, and it could also release electric current itself.
It was the defensive force Godzilla intended to use to guard the Monster Factory.
As soon as the Electromagnetic Pulse was unleashed, no weapon would be able to fly above them, which also meant the safety of the Monster Factory.
As for releasing electric current, that was to add a bit of offensive capability.
After all, besides melee ability, some special ability was still needed.
Besides this type of Kaiju, Godzilla also planned to produce several other types of Kaiju later.
One type would be like the Electromagnetic Beast, a Kaiju that could release Electromagnetic Cannons, and another type would be a Kaiju focused on defense.
There was also a type of Kaiju focused on close-quarters combat.
And unlike the Electromagnetic Beast, Godzilla planned to make those Kaiju capable of releasing Electromagnetic Cannons into a "Turrets-like" shape.
They wouldn't need powerful mobility; they only needed to ensure sufficient firepower.
Godzilla currently had no inspiration for Kaiju with strong defensive capabilities, and there were too many templates for close-quarters combat Kaiju, so he didn't know which ones to produce.
Finally, Godzilla decided to make a few of everything.
As for Kaiju with strong defensive capabilities, the first thing Godzilla thought of was the famous turtle.
But although this Creature's own defense was not bad, it couldn't protect what was behind it.
So Godzilla gave up on using it as a template to create Kaiju.
After spending some time, Godzilla finally settled on a template for this defense-enhanced Kaiju.
Ultimately, a Kaiju with six legs, holding two parts that could merge together, and an upper body like a crab, gradually became clear in Godzilla's mind.
But whether it could be produced would depend on how capable the Monster Factory was.
After all, the current Monster Factory was still too small; even producing one large Kaiju took a long time, let alone producing multiple Kaiju simultaneously.
