Chapter 59: Capturing Nightingale (Part 5)
It is unknown how much time had passed.
On the sofa, Lin Fan held Nightingale from the side, lingeringly teasing her soft body.
"Alright, stop it. I've given myself to you so many times, isn't it enough? I can't take it anymore."
Nightingale pushed away Lin Fan's teasing hands and continued to ask.
"Although the control chip has been removed and I am truly free, I am worried that your previous plan will be known by the authorities."
Lin Fan curled his lips into a cold smile: "If they know, they know. This is not a conspiracy, but an open strategy."
"If they don't come, I will destroy Watchtower Island with my own hands and let the things they cherish most turn to dust; if they do come—"
Lin Fan paused, a sharp killing intent flashing in his eyes:
"That would be perfect, I will wipe them all out in one go. Whether it's Red Abyss or the authorities, don't think I'm afraid of them."
Nightingale looked up at Lin Fan, her eyes complex; she seemed infected by his confidence, but couldn't help but worry:
"But can you, alone, confront both the authorities and Red Abyss at the same time? Not to mention the Black Obsidian Organization…"
Lin Fan gently patted her shoulder, a faint smile appearing on his lips: "You don't need to worry about these things. I never fight battles I'm not sure of."
As he spoke, his tone shifted, carrying a hint of playful ease:
"Besides, with you by my side, don't I have an extra helper? You were once the ace of Red Abyss."
Nightingale leaned back on the sofa, the corners of her mouth slightly raised, revealing a confident smile:
"Lin Fan, since you say I am an ace, then I won't hide anything. I do have a backup plan—the Deep Sea Arsenal, a base I built with my own hands."
She said this with a flash of pride in her eyes, as if waiting for Lin Fan's praise.
Lin Fan raised his eyebrows slightly, showing a hint of interest: "Deep Sea Arsenal? Sounds good, how much combat power can it accommodate?"
Nightingale counted on her fingers and said proudly: "Although the arsenal is not top-tier in scale, it possesses self-manufacturing systems for submarines, mechanical soldiers, drones, and medium-sized warships. It can also provide wartime supplies and can fully support a localized war."
Lin Fan nodded and said with a smile: "Not bad, it is indeed very useful. However…"
Nightingale keenly sensed the turn in his words and couldn't help but frown: "However what?"
Lin Fan's tone was indifferent, but he hit the core: "The technology is a bit outdated. Based on the technological level of your arsenal, at best it's standard for a Rank 2.5 civilization, while here—"
He paused, a playful smile curling his lips, "I have Rank 6 civilization technology."
Nightingale froze, the proud expression on her face instantly solidifying: "Rank 6 civilization? You… what are you saying?"
Lin Fan chuckled and tapped her forehead: "Hehe, my two Genius scientists, Zhang Ming and Zhang Tie, are currently manufacturing a space shield of a Rank 6 civilization. Once it's finished, I'll take it to upgrade your deep-sea base."
Nightingale widened her eyes, shocked and speechless.
She knew exactly what the gap in civilization Rank meant; a Rank 6 civilization was already beyond her cognitive scope, and her arsenal hadn't even reached Rank 3!
After a long while, she finally regained her composure and muttered to herself:
"Rank 6 civilization… this is truly the limit of my imagination. Lin Fan, just how many secrets are you still hiding?"
Lin Fan smiled without speaking, reaching out to gently pinch her chin:
"This is enough to shock you? Nightingale, follow me, and you will slowly discover that things like limits do not exist with me."
Nightingale looked at the confident light flickering in his eyes, and a sense of unprecedented security suddenly rose in her heart.
She leaned back against the sofa and said softly: "Alright, then I will leave my arsenal to you. I hope your Rank 6 technology can give it a fresh start."
Lin Fan smiled, stroking her soft body: "Rest assured, I won't let your ace gather dust."
Nightingale snuggled softly against Lin Fan, her eyes gradually showing a bit of dependence.
She realized that handing over everything of herself to this man was not a bad thing.
On the other side.
Lin Fan's spiritual body arrived silently at the other side of Star-Moon Manor, where the three attendants were gathering to discuss countermeasures.
Yin Miaoxue was coldly flipping through an ancient book, her brows slightly furrowed; her cold temperament made her look particularly unapproachable.
She said softly: "Lin Fan's plan is very bold, but the risks are also too great. If we stay here, can we really defend Star-Moon Manor?"
Princess Hu Qinlan gently comforted her, her tone gentle: "Sister Miaoxue, don't worry too much. Since Brother Lin Fan dared to arrange all this, he must have his certainty. Besides, we still have the Rank 6 civilization space shield, we should be able to hold out."
As she spoke, she smoothed the hem of her emerald green long dress, but her clear eyes held a hint of worry.
Princess Jin Xuan stood by the window with her arms crossed, her eyes sharp, revealing a trace of stubbornness and pride. She sneered:
"What is there to be afraid of? If anyone actually dares to come, I'll be the first to rush out and chop them all up!"
Her golden ceremonial dress shimmered in the faint light, and her whole person exuded an arrogant Aura, but she couldn't hide a trace of worry in her eyes.
At this moment, Lin Fan's spiritual body slowly appeared, and a faint Void Power permeated the room, instantly making the atmosphere in the room quiet down.
Princess Jin Xuan was the first to react, a confident smile rising on her face:
"Lin Fan, you actually know to come! Speak, what are your instructions?"
Although her tone was teasing, there was a trace of relief in her voice.
Princess Hu Qinlan looked up and saw Lin Fan's spiritual body, and joy instantly flashed in her eyes:
"Brother Lin Fan, are you alright? Outside… is everything going smoothly?"
Yin Miaoxue looked at him coldly, maintaining her consistent aloof posture, but her fingertips tightened slightly; she seemed surprised and relieved by his sudden appearance.
Lin Fan's spiritual body smiled, his tone relaxed: "You don't need to worry about me. With you in Star-Moon Manor, I am very relieved. I will deal with the Watchtower Island matters as soon as possible; you just need to cooperate with my plan."
Princess Jin Xuan raised her eyebrows, a defiant smile on her lips: "Relieved? You say that easily. If a real fight breaks out, don't blame us if we tear down your manor."
Princess Hu Qinlan said softly: "We will do our best to protect this place."
Yin Miaoxue spoke indifferently: "I hope your plan can really get these forces hooked, otherwise, we might really fall into crisis here."
Lin Fan's spiritual body nodded, his tone adding a touch of solemnity: "Rest assured, I will never let anyone step into the manor. Wait for my good news."
As the spiritual body gradually dissipated, the three looked at the direction he disappeared and exchanged glances.
Princess Jin Xuan snorted: "This guy, always making people worry."
Princess Hu Qinlan said in a low voice: "But he can always bring hope, can't he?"
Yin Miaoxue didn't speak, just opened the ancient book in her hand, a strange light in her eyes, as if she was pondering something.
