Chapter 62: Novelty

But in reality, Blade only suffered minor injuries.

Although the skin all over his body was burned by the high temperature at the epicenter of the nuclear bomb, only the skin was damaged; his muscles and internal organs were unharmed.

The most severely injured part of his entire body was his "Eyes".

When the nuclear bomb exploded, his "Eyes" were not protected, and two of them were blinded.

The reason Blade was stumbling was simply because his entire body was scalded and in pain.

However, Blade's miserable appearance seemed to give some people the wrong impression, making them mistakenly believe that Blade was on his last legs.

Just as Blade was absorbing the abundant radiation around him to repair his skin, annoying attacks came again.

Because the high temperature at the nuclear blast center scorched Blade, he subconsciously left the nuclear blast range and came to the edge of the City.

This did not hinder Blade from absorbing radiation, and at the same time, it kept him away from the nuclear blast range.

But this also allowed the human army to approach.

If Blade had still been at the center of the nuclear blast, the human army would not have dared to approach.

Even if the high temperatures after the nuclear blast had dissipated, the residual radiation would not disappear for decades.

But if it was the periphery, approaching for a short time while wearing a hazmat suit was still possible.

However, when the human army saw Blade again, they were surprised to find that all the wounds on Blade's body had healed!

And whether it was an illusion or not, they always felt that this Monster was a size larger than in the previous photos—a Monster that had recovered as good as new was a completely different concept from an injured Monster.

They even suspected that even if they fired all their weapons, they would not be able to penetrate the Monster's skin.

But they had already arrived; they couldn't just leave dejectedly, could they?

Having no other option, they could only stop thirty kilometers away from Blade and then use missiles for a probing attack to confirm whether his skin had fully recovered, before proceeding with the next step.

As for what to do next if the Monster's skin had indeed recovered, that would be a problem for the higher-ups to worry about.

Blade, who was resting with his "Eyes" closed, was suddenly hit by a barrage of missiles.

The continuous explosions made Blade open his three pairs of "Eyes" in confusion.

The two "Eyes" that had been blinded earlier had already been repaired; at this moment, a dazed expression from the explosions on his body still lingered in his six "Eyes".

It was like you were taking a nap, and suddenly a few firecrackers were thrown on you; you would also be dazed.

The difference was that Blade had just been hit in the face by a nuclear bomb, his skin was scalded, and he was full of pent-up anger.

Thus, Blade immediately spotted the human army stationed thirty kilometers away.

He roared and charged towards where the army was stationed.

After Blade moved, he was immediately discovered by the army stationed thirty kilometers away.

Upon seeing Blade charging straight towards them, even the most foolish among them understood that their position must have been exposed!

At this point, bringing out all weapons, standing ready, and waiting for Blade to enter the encirclement before attacking, would be the most foolish choice.

The correct choice should be to flee!

No matter what traps they set, they could not kill that Monster, unless they buried a nuclear bomb under that Monster's feet!

But the problem was, they were too close to that Monster and couldn't use nuclear bombs.

What's more, it had already been proven that small-yield nuclear bombs could not kill that Monster.

And large-yield nuclear bombs would affect all of them!

Most importantly, they could not guarantee that the higher-ups, in order to kill that Monster, would launch nuclear bombs regardless of their safety.

In this country, it was not strange for any fantastical things to happen.

Therefore, they could only desperately flee!

At the same time, they continuously fired missiles to hinder Blade's speed.

But it was obvious that those missiles could not even slow Blade down by a single bit!

So, enduring the barrage of artillery fire, Blade caught up with the retreating army.

Then, a massacre began!

This army, equipped with the most advanced weapons, was slaughtered one by one by Blade without any resistance, no exceptions!

After all the humans died, Blade roared to the sky, finally venting the anger in his heart.

When Blade had killed all the people, he was momentarily lost.

Because his mission in this world was to collect viruses, but now a problem arose.

The zombies carrying the virus had all been annihilated by the nuclear bomb; where was he going to collect viruses?

Just then, Blade's six "Eyes" suddenly burst forth with a strange light.

When the light faded, Blade began to move again.

Just now, he had received a new command from the Sovereign to search for the stairway to the sun flower.

Although Godzilla didn't know what the stairway to the sun flower looked like, where it was, or even if it existed.

However, even if the probability was extremely low, as long as the stairway to the sun flower might exist, it was worth Godzilla searching for it.

Of course, the reason why Godzilla's true self didn't have to search the entire world accounted for a large part of it.

However, relying on just one Blade to search was indeed somewhat difficult.

So, Godzilla controlled the Monster Factory to produce a batch of specially modified Watchers.

These Watchers possessed a special reproductive ability.

They would self-divide into two Individuals after growing to a certain size.

Watchers themselves possessed considerable combat power, coupled with their special reproductive ability and extremely fast growth rate, it wouldn't be long before the number of Watchers became quite exaggerated.

With the help of the Watchers, he believed he would soon have news of the stairway to the sun flower.

It's just unknown what this world would become with the help of Blade and the Watchers.

Of course, this had little to do with Godzilla.

Godzilla's world.

Dividing his attention to project his consciousness into two worlds was a novel experience for Godzilla.

Before this, he had never had the experience of having two visions.

Especially since the timelines of these two visions were not synchronized.

Godzilla discovered that the time flow rates of his own world, the Resident Evil world, and the World War Z world were all slightly different.

For example, the time flow rate of this world was faster, and that world's time flow rate was slower.

And when the two were combined, the difference in time flow rates became apparent.

And the time flow rates of the two worlds did not change at all, even with Godzilla's interference.

Therefore, this experience could be said to be quite novel.
