Chapter 63: g-virus
The feeling of time being fractured gave Godzilla the illusion of being caught in a turbulent flow of time.
Godzilla thought of the various beings in myths who had been exiled to the end of time, and wondered what kind of place this so-called "end of time" actually was.
Godzilla did not invest too much energy into these two worlds.
Upon seeing that the "Blades" had obtained enough viruses, Godzilla summoned them back.
After obtaining the viruses from both worlds, Godzilla dispatched both "Blades" to the Resident Evil world.
With one more monster, it would be faster to find the target.
As for the World War Z world, it didn't hold much development value, so Godzilla directly closed the portal to that world.
Not to mention the two "Blades" and the large number of "Watchers" searching for the sun ladder flower in the Resident Evil world.
Meanwhile, after obtaining the viruses from the two worlds, Godzilla curiously began its research.
Godzilla was no stranger to viruses.
Because Kaiju carried various viruses, and viruses were also one of the Kaiju's methods of attack.
The difference, however, was that these viruses had never had a chance to appear on Godzilla.
The ability of the "Monster Factory" that Godzilla created was not just as simple as creating monsters.
It was simultaneously a large, fully-equipped Laboratory.
Researching viruses was a piece of cake for it.
In just a few days, the "Monster Factory" had enhanced the "Engineers" using the t-virus.
Although the "Engineers" were products of G-cells and mere t-virus could not significantly enhance them, with the t-virus, their threat to other Creatures was greatly increased.
At the same time, the "Monster Factory" also began combining the two viruses with monsters, allowing the monsters to spread the viruses over a wide area to eliminate all living forces in the vicinity.
For ordinary people, this method was nothing short of an apocalypse.
Godzilla did not stop this.
Having one more way to deal with enemies was a good thing.
It saved him from having to run all over the world if he ever needed to deal with humans one day.
As for Godzilla himself, he had long since absorbed these two viruses through his G-cells.
And he had fused and upgraded these two viruses through his G-cells.
Godzilla estimated that if a living organism were infected with this virus, its immune system would be breached within a minute, and its body would be wantonly remolded by the virus; Godzilla did not know what changes the living organism itself would undergo during this process.
After all, he had just fused this virus, and he could not be certain exactly how powerful it was.
But that didn't matter; there happened to be a perfect world right now to test this virus.
The Resident Evil world.
After the Raccoon City incident, traces of zombies appeared all over the world, as if by prior agreement.
The appearance of these zombies caused Various countries to break out in a cold sweat.
Before this, they had learned through various channels just how terrifying the zombies in Raccoon City were.
Therefore, as soon as the zombies appeared, Various countries immediately dispatched troops to control the City.
If the zombie outbreak had been limited to just that, the situation could have been brought under control.
Although there would be heavy casualties, it would not have resulted in a situation like Raccoon City, where the entire City fell.
But the problem was, this was not a natural disaster, but a man-made one!
Thus, the situation became complicated.
Basically, just as Various countries had brought the situation under control, zombies would suddenly break out in another place, and the scale would be larger each time.
Even military camps experienced zombie outbreaks, catching Various countries off guard.
Consequently, within a few years, the entire world had fallen, and zombies were everywhere.
As for the "Blades", they became even freer, basically in a state where no one managed them.
Although Umbrella Corporation very much wanted to eliminate the "Blades".
They really had no way to deal with the "Blades".
You have to know, although Umbrella Corporation possessed a few nuclear bombs, they were all low-yield and could not kill those two monsters at all.
That's right, two.
They had also discovered the other "Blade" that Godzilla had deployed.
Umbrella Corporation's strategy was to use the t-virus to create biological weapons that were even larger and more powerful than the "Blades" to deal with them.
If that didn't work, then they would use all the zombies in the world to kill those two monsters.
They didn't believe that under the siege of billions of zombies, those two monsters wouldn't die!
In a world full of zombies.
Godzilla found some animals that had not been infected with the t-virus, as well as various animals that had been infected with the t-virus, and let them be infected with the g-virus.
The g-virus was the virus on Godzilla's body.
This virus, which Godzilla called the g-virus, was not only heat-resistant, but could also go dormant in extremely low-temperature environments, and could survive for at least hundreds of thousands of years.
Not just extreme temperatures, but even in a space environment, the g-virus could survive for quite a long time.
After spreading the virus onto those Creatures, Godzilla carefully observed those infected with the g-virus, looking forward to their changes.
—
Hank was a survivor after the zombie outbreak.
He was also a combatant within their base, and a squad leader at that.
After the virus outbreak, many people with the means to do so moved away from Cities.
Because they knew that the more crowded a place was, the more dangerous it was.
Therefore, in remote rural areas, quite a few people actually survived.
Especially in a situation where almost every family in this country owned a gun, if they could suppress the fear in their hearts, they could still clear out those zombies when there were few of them.
Therefore, in a remote rural area, the survivors and those who came to this village organized themselves and established a survivor base.
In a small town not far from the base, Hank's squad was searching for any useful supplies.
Without Hank noticing anything, the g-virus invaded his body.
Initially, Hank showed no changes.
After the g-virus invaded Hank's body, it directly entered Hank's cells and hijacked them.
The g-virus absorbed the cells' energy while remolding the cells and releasing divided G-cells outside the cells.
The g-virus reproduced very quickly; it wouldn't take long to spread throughout the entire human body.
And the g-virus's remolding did not immediately manifest on Hank.
The g-virus inherited the G-cells' camouflage ability.
Even though it had remolded Hank's cells beyond recognition, it still disguised them as normal cells.
