Chapter 73: Ragnarok

"Mentor."

"The injustices you once suffered, I will return them all for you."

Magic World.

Above the vast and boundless ocean.

Layer upon layer of waves surged forward and back, forming giant swells that slapped and swept, seeking to annihilate that small, frail figure.

But she simply gripped the wand in her hand, and everything returned to tranquility.

Even more so.

The power of the raging sea was instead controlled by her.

"The so-called gods are nothing more than this," Klisa said, looking up slightly. Her eyes seemed to hold a rotating sea of stars, brilliant and mysterious, taking in all the unsightly displays of the gods high in the heavens.

She still maintained her seventeen-year-old appearance; time could not affect her in the slightest.

Her silver-gray hair was as smooth as a waterfall.

Her delicate features were cold and indifferent.

The world surrendered to her, and all things submitted to her.

The sky became her eyes, the earth protected her body, and the ocean carried her feet, further accentuating that miraculous Status that transcended the gods.

"Then, let us begin."

Klisa whispered.

Her calm tone made it sound as if she were merely speaking of a trivial matter.

But as she waved her wand, the endless sea behind her began to roar and howl, carrying the witch higher and leaping toward the infinitely distant firmament.

"Whoosh—!!!"

A piercing cold wind blew.

Water condensed into ice, and ice took shape; the waves beneath the witch's feet transformed into a four-legged Ice Dragon. It flapped its wings, which blotted out the sun, and instantly crossed an infinitely far distance, soaring into the sky.

Sweeping along the endless raging tides of the sea.

It forcefully charged into the Celestial Realm.

"Impudent! That is my authority!" The Sea God's eyes were nearly splitting. He was the most arrogant among the gods and immediately charged toward the witch.

"Attack together! We have no way back!"

Led by the God of Light, the gods of the Celestial Realm activated their respective Laws, launching a world-shaking combined attack.

It was light enough to evaporate the world.

It was darkness enough to swallow the world.

The authority of the gods materialized at this moment, condensing into the essence of matter. Transcending magic and Forbidden Curses, it formed the great Divine Power.

But before the witch, all of these were equally weak.

"Die."

The witch said the gods must die.

And so, the gods fell.

The high sky began to fall, the roaring sea began to capsize, and the heavy earth began to collapse.

The four elements of Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire tangled and mixed into an indescribable form. A single strand was enough to crush the membrane of the Celestial Realm, exposing the gods to that terrifying apocalypse.

The Sea God was the first to die.

Next were the Fire God, the God of Blacksmiths, and the Goddess of Harvest.

Then came the Earth Mother Goddess, the God of Wind and Snow, and the God of Death.

The gods were like rice during the autumn harvest, falling dead in rows, strangled to death by the endless Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire—even the gods who originally governed those elements were no exception.

Under Klisa's control.

Within the balance of disorder and order.

Earth, Wind, Water, Fire, and the other elements mixed within were no longer mere world attributes.

Instead, they went a step further, symbolizing the origin of all things and the end of the world—the inevitable beginning and end that both Mortals and gods would reach.

"I refuse to accept this!!!"

A Dragon's roar echoed through the sky.

It was the god worshipped by all dragon species in the world, the Dragon God who had ascended to godhood as a Golden Holy Dragon.

Relying on its powerful Physical Body, it briefly resisted the erosion of Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire. With a murderous glint in its eyes, it lunged toward the slender witch.

As long as I get close.

As long as I get close to that monster!

I will surely be victorious!

The Dragon God thought with such boiling blood, but just as it rushed before the witch, the long-handled wand was perfectly extended to its forehead.

On it were condensed the Law of Earth, Law of Thunder, Law of Light, Law of Darkness, Law of Death, and Law of Fire.

A gentle tap.

"Bang—" The Dragon God fell.

Ignoring the Dragon God's corpse that crashed heavily below, Klisa's gaze was indifferent as she turned toward the most powerful and most fiercely resisting God of Light.

Her mentor had said that one must never be careless when facing an enemy.

Klisa kept this in mind at all times.

Thus, her eyes glinted with a cold light. The power derived from Chaos and Order surged again, extracting the authority of all the dead gods present and gathering it all into herself.

The God of Light's expression turned to despair at a visible rate.

He was very decisive.

He immediately abandoned all attack and defense, transforming his entire Divine Power into pure light, trying his best to flee the Celestial Realm.

"Swish—"

Amidst a soft hum, a hazy gray pillar of Chaos light swept across the entire Celestial Realm.

"No!!!"

"I haven't transcended yet! I haven't become a Great God! I can't die, I must not die!"

The God of Light roared. His former holiness was gone, replaced only by wretchedness and fury. He used every means at his disposal, but his divine body was still pierced through.

Along with his authority, Status, and the very concept of his existence.

Everything was torn apart and destroyed together.

At this point, the Celestial Realm fell, and the gods were extinguished.

Even the God of Light, who was the most powerful and possessed the most faith in the world, perished at the hands of the witch.

"Mentor, that justice of yours that was suppressed by the gods, I have reclaimed it for you."

In the empty Void Realm of the sky.

Klisa stood firmly, speaking softly to the "sun" that had already passed away.

Although it was a bit late and a bit rushed, this was the only thing Klisa could think of to do for Xu Xi.

Suddenly.

Radiance flowed around her.

The vast and profound power of the world swept up the remains of the fallen gods, crushing and grinding them, finally gathering into a bright and brilliant crown.

Invisibly, a voice appeared in Klisa's ear.

That was the instinct of the world.

That was the intimacy of heaven and earth.

The gods who once held authority and managed the world had vanished.

The world needed a new manager, so the world chose the witch, wanting her to wear the crown and become the Lord of the World in the truest sense.

However, the witch refused.

"This kind of thing… I don't need it."

She said this, her fingers gently pinching the holy crown before her. With a slight exertion of force, the combined power of disorder and order completely shattered it.

Why?

The World Consciousness sent out such a query.

It was the instinct of the Magic World, mechanically recording everything and knowing the witch's past.

It did not understand why, after avenging Xu Xi, the witch was unwilling to embrace power and strength like others.

The witch's answer was simple.

She would wait for Xu Xi until they met again.

Amidst the confusion of the World Consciousness, Klisa held her wand and took a light step forward, crossing time and space to step outside the world.

Appearing before her was a vast and brilliant multitude of worlds.

They were interlaced with each other, floating in the Chaos without the concept of time and space, flashing with different lusters.

The witch decided to begin searching for traces of Xu Xi, and in the process, continue to eliminate ugly gods.

"That direction… seems to have many gods?"

Klisa tilted her head blankly.

She began her voyage through the Chaos.

The crown bestowed by the world did not completely dissipate after being shattered; instead, it still hung behind her, flashing with a miraculous brilliance.
