Chapter 92: The Three Clans Fight for Supremacy

Twenty years had passed in a flash.

Although Godzilla had been hiding within sub-oceanic volcanoes and swimming in magma all these years, his impact on the world was almost nonexistent, as he hadn't left the magma for two decades.

At most, he would just move to a different location if he felt the surrounding magma energy was insufficient.

Meanwhile, the outside world had been quite lively during these years.

Especially the Creatures infected with the g-virus, which were very active.

Originally, the number of these Creatures was not large, totaling only about twenty.

But over these years, these Creatures underwent a miraculous change: they started to give birth!

And they did so in litters, each litter having one to over a dozen young.

Thus, the Creatures born from the g-virus suddenly multiplied.

It's unclear if it was territorial instinct or something else, but once the young grew to a certain size, they would be driven out of the territory by their mother.

And those Creatures driven out of their territory would then build nests elsewhere.

The territories of these Creatures suddenly expanded.

This also led to Hank and his group finally encountering other similar Creatures besides themselves.

Or rather, were they the same species?

But their encounter held no joy of meeting kin; instead, it was filled with murderous intent.

Because the Creatures Hank and his companions encountered treated them as invaders of their territory.

That combat experience was, to say the least, very unpleasant.

Although Hank and his group killed that Creature, that encounter seemed like a signal; when they encountered such Creatures again, they would generally be attacked.

Only then did they start avoiding those Creatures.

Due to Umbrella's base being attacked by the Watchers, and all its defenses being easily breached, the senior management of the Umbrella Corporation lost all trust in the defensive facilities of those bases.

Unable to think of a better way to increase defenses, they could only choose more secluded locations to establish their bases.

But precisely because of this, it made it extremely difficult for Hank and his group to find Umbrella bases.

If nothing unexpected happened, they probably wouldn't be able to find Umbrella's bases in their entire lives.

After all, without good transportation, how far could they go on foot?

Coincidentally, there was a "mole" within the Umbrella base!

With cooperation from inside and out, they actually managed to find and destroy all of Umbrella's bases.

This also dashed Godzilla's expectation of watching the show of those who claimed to be gods.

It's worth mentioning that until the very end, the Umbrella Corporation never managed to produce the t-virus serum.

Besides the difficulty of production, another reason was that the Watchers had plundered too thoroughly.

They took away some indispensable resources, which was the biggest reason for the slow progress of the t-virus serum.

Without the Umbrella bases, Alice and Hank also parted ways.

Alice went to search for other surviving humans.

Hank and his group discussed finding a scenic place to settle down.

Of course, it would be best if it was close to a City.

For no other reason than to vent their frustration on zombies when they felt annoyed.

Thus, this world embarked on a path completely different from the original timeline.

Zombies still existed, and the number of survivors dwindled one after another.

However, the good news was that without the Umbrella Corporation causing trouble, the surviving humans could still eke out an existence if they were careful.

Besides zombies and humans, this world gained another dominant Creature.

Some called them "Earth Dragons."

Because they looked like giant dragons that hadn't grown wings.

Others called them "Big Lizards."

Because they did look somewhat similar to enlarged lizards.

But no matter what they were called, these "Earth Dragons" were beings that neither humans nor zombies could provoke.

Of course, brainless zombies wouldn't care about such things.

Upon encountering an "Earth Dragon," they would still charge forward, howling, to offer themselves up.

Perhaps this was their eagerness to deliver themselves to fill the Creature's belly.

As time passed, the number of zombies gradually decreased.

It wasn't that the "Earth Dragons" were too powerful and ate all the zombies.

Rather, after such a long time, even with the t-virus maintaining them, ordinary zombies couldn't last that long.

More and more zombies completely lost their ability to move, becoming piles of absolute dead bodies.

Precisely because of this, the "Earth Dragons" gradually faced a trend of food shortages.

They wouldn't starve to death; after all, so many years had passed, and wild animals had long since left the wilderness, beginning to occupy every corner of the concrete jungle.

But it was incomparable to the past, when countless food items would be delivered to them just by going out for a stroll.

If it weren't for the fact that every "Earth Dragon" possessed extremely powerful combat strength and a very high hunting success rate, perhaps some "Earth Dragons" really would have starved to death.

And now, the entire Earth had a sense of a "three-way struggle for supremacy."

First were the "Earth Dragons," the fewest in number but the most powerful in combat, truly the dominant Creatures on Earth.

Each adult Individual possessed the strength to fight ten thousand.

Next were the animals.

They were the most numerous, spread across the globe.

Finally, there were humans.

Although humans had recuperated and multiplied over the years, their numbers were still very small, only slightly more than the "Earth Dragons."

But with the various legacies from before the collapse of human civilization, as long as they didn't encounter "Earth Dragons," they lived quite comfortably.

If this world weren't a world of spiritual energy revival, those animals wouldn't undergo evolution.

Perhaps Godzilla might really have witnessed a scene of a three-way struggle for supremacy.

However, while a three-way struggle for supremacy might not be seen, a struggle between "Earth Dragons" and humans was still possible.

Given the spread rate of "Earth Dragons" and the ambition of humans, they would clash sooner or later.

— The magma buried deep beneath the earth flowed slowly, like the planet's blood.

A certain submarine volcano in the deep ocean suddenly erupted, accompanied by an earthquake.

Due to the volcanic eruption, this submarine volcano spewed out a large amount of material, which cooled in the seawater, forming strange stones, some of which were embedded with various precious gems.

The originally narrow volcanic vent also expanded several times, becoming a huge volcanic vent hundreds of meters in diameter.

And from within this rolling magma, a figure slowly crawled out.

Godzilla, covered in magma, slowly emerged from it.

He looked around and realized that this didn't seem to be the same volcanic vent he had originally entered?
