Chapter 95: Strong Acid Solution

Godzilla was once curious to observe the “history” of his world, but when he focused on his own world, he discovered an interesting place.

He saw himself, still in the internal testing phase of the world, and also saw himself swimming, all from the perspective of the world's conjecture.

This perspective was a first for Godzilla.

What surprised Godzilla even more was that he seemed to be able to confirm his location!

Thus, with the help of the perspective from outside the world, Godzilla finally found the supervolcano in Yellowstone National Park.

After making his home in this supervolcano,

Godzilla typically spent most of each year dormant within the volcanic magma, absorbing energy from it and then producing the Purple Mist.

Every year, Godzilla would awaken at a specific time and then control the Purple Mist.

After several months, Godzilla would return to the magma to sleep.

It's unknown how long this routine continued, but suddenly an awareness appeared in Godzilla's mind.

A… human awareness?

Ever since the Kaiju known as Leviathan appeared, burrowed into a wormhole, and the wormhole disappeared not long after,

Kaiju had not reappeared for ten years.

During these ten years, the entire world underwent earth-shattering changes.

Firstly, Jaegers were beloved by people worldwide; secondly, those who revered Leviathan wiped out the cults that revered Kaiju, becoming an undeniable force on Earth today.

After all, Leviathan's combat power was clearly evident.

With no Kaiju invasions, humanity entered a rare period of peaceful development.

During this time, the development of Jaegers was extremely rapid, even leading to the emergence of unmanned Jaegers; although only first-generation models, this was still a technological revolution.

Furthermore, many significant events occurred in places unknown to ordinary people.

Some informed Individuals even became depressed because of this.

The reason was the piece of Godzilla's dandruff that fell off after that battle.

After the dandruff was discovered by a Jaeger and brought back, Newton began researching it.

The more he researched, the more perfect he found Godzilla to be!

Compared to him, Kaiju immediately lost all their appeal!

But before Newton could be happy for long, bad news arrived: the Shatterdome was going to be disbanded.

After all, as the last base resisting Kaiju, there was no reason for it to exist when Kaiju were no longer invading.

Moreover, the general, the backbone of the base, did not have much time left.

His body, ravaged by radiation, could not hold on for much longer.

And Newton was preparing to look for a new position.

It wasn't that Newton didn't want to hand over Godzilla's body tissue; rather, if he did, who knew what those politicians would do with Godzilla's body tissue.

Although he had spent a short time with Godzilla's dandruff and hadn't researched much, one thing he was very clear about was that Godzilla's dandruff could trigger a global catastrophe.

Its danger was far greater than that of Kaiju!

If not handled carefully, the entire Earth could be lost!

The people at Shatterdome understood him and strongly supported his decision not to hand over Godzilla's dandruff.

Because the world had finally found peace, and they didn't want to clean up the mess left by politicians who would cause a heap of trouble after only a few days of peace.

Of course, most importantly, they trusted Newton implicitly.

As a Scientist, apart from his desire to research Godzilla's dandruff, he had no other ambitions.

However, what they didn't realize was that Scientists are also a group of mad people.

After discovering that the piece of dandruff could self-replicate, Newton cut off a piece of flesh, allowing it to self-replicate into a humanoid Creature over three meters tall, resembling someone wearing a Godzilla suit.

Due to the Laboratory's highly complete security system, Newton killed this small Godzilla before it was fully developed, removed its brain, and preserved it.

Because the small Godzilla's vitality was extremely tenacious, and it was steeped in nutrient solution, this brain was still alive, just without any intelligence!

Godzilla had already made arrangements: any small Godzilla replicated from his body tissue and flesh would have no intelligence, only instinct!

But this did not mean that the strength of these replicated Individuals was weak.

On the contrary, their combat power was quite formidable!

And because of his apprehension towards Godzilla, Newton dared not allow any small Godzilla to fully develop, fearing they would escape the Laboratory.

By studying Godzilla's cells, Newton came up with many inventions.

But those inventions were either not worth keeping or discarding, or they had powerful side effects, harming both the user and the enemy.

The most practical might be the strong acid solution.

The strong acid solution extracted by Newton from the blood could only be stored in special containers; otherwise, its corrosiveness was so strong that no substance on Earth could withstand it.

Such a powerful substance was not treated as a weapon.

Instead, due to the limited replication speed of Godzilla's flesh, the quantity of this strong acid solution was not large.

He only made a few water guns and gave them to close friends as self-defense weapons.

Of course, whether his friends carried them was uncertain.

After all, the water guns Newton made looked too much like toys for a three-year-old, requiring great courage to carry them around.

For Newton, these strong acid solutions were considered the best items for cleaning up waste.

Because he needed to study Godzilla's blood, Newton generated a large amount of waste almost every month, and this waste could not be casually discarded, as it could attract the attention of some people.

He usually dug a pit himself and buried it underground.

But now, he had a better method!

Since he had this strong acid solution, he no longer worried about this waste!

However, recently, Newton fell into a dilemma.

Newton's research was rather spontaneous; he basically researched whatever came to mind.

Not long ago, Newton was sitting in a chair, next to a nutrient tank holding the small Godzilla's brain.

Looking at this brain, Newton had a flash of inspiration.

He remembered neural bridging!

Bridging with this brain!

At this time, Newton had no other intention; he just wanted to know what this brain was thinking.

Newton instinctively believed that these small Godzillas actually possessed intelligence.

After all, Godzilla's behavior proved he possessed a considerable degree of intelligence, and as a small Godzilla replicated from his flesh, it should be no different, right?
