Krypto carried Clark in his jaws, racing through the air straight back to Metropolis before setting Clark down in a cornfield. It knew where Clark lived, but because of Donnie, it had never had much contact with him. So Krypto chose a more tactful approach. It often ran to Gotham City to hang around with Ace, Batman's dog. In reality, it had frequently taken the chance to use its super vision and X-ray vision to watch Clark in neighboring Metropolis.
