Faora’s Afterglow, the End of the Kryptonians

Faora stared icily at the little white dog speeding ahead of her, anger flickering in her eyes. The man and dog ahead both bore the S emblem on their chests. It was the greatest insult imaginable to her. The traitor's son, and the creature the traitor had created through unauthorized genetic experiments in violation of the ban. Their chase was terrifyingly spectacular. Both Krypto and Faora had exceeded ten times the speed of sound, charging against the air's sonic booms as though they were charging against the entire world.
