Mindy blinked and asked, "Do you have money? If you do, I’ll become your disciple!"

Madame Gao could not help laughing. She asked, "Are you badly in need of money?"

"Yes, I need money to find my father!"

Mindy nodded. "A mercenary said that as long as I gave him enough money, he could help me find my father! That’s why I was robbing those bad guys in the alleyways."

"If that is the case, then you should become someone else’s disciple!"

Madame Gao said, "He has enough power to help you find your father!"

Mindy asked excitedly, "Who? Is he rich?"

"A little richer than Iron Man!"

Madame Gao said. If Iron Man had been here, he would definitely have been depressed. Why was everyone always comparing themselves to him? Did he not have any dignity? "Wow!" Mindy’s eyes lit up. She asked, "Would he be willing to take me as a disciple?"

"What condition?"

Wang Bert nodded, then asked, "Mindy, is there any problem with your father’s identity? Can we search for him openly?"

Mindy stood up and answered, "No problem. My father is also a Super Hero, but no one knows his identity!"

"Then this will be easy. I’ll offer a large reward for him on television, in newspapers, and on Twitter. A five-million-dollar reward will be enough to make most people help you look for your father!"

Wang Bert said, "Also, I’ll hire mercenaries and detectives in the underworld to search for your father. Working on both fronts, we’ll definitely find him!"

"That’s wonderful."

Mindy was thrilled. Then she thought of something and asked, "Master, won’t that cost a lot of money?"

"It’s nothing!"

Wang Bert smiled and turned to Lilith. "Lilith, leave this to you. I want the entire country helping Mindy find her father!"

"Alright!"

Lilith nodded. "I’ll arrange it!"

Mindy clicked her tongue. She was not someone who did not know gratitude, and she said thankfully, "Thank you, Master!"

"No need to be polite. Since you have no other family, you’ll live at the teahouse from now on. You’ll go to school during the day, and Madame Gao will teach you martial arts at night!"

Wang Bert said, "Your aptitude is not bad, but if you want to succeed, you still cannot do without diligent study and hard training!"

Madame Gao said, "As for why he is hunting Spider-Man, perhaps Spider-Man ruined too many of their plans!"

"Maybe they’re after Spider-Man himself!"

Wang Bert’s eyes flashed. "If Kingpin is selling Human Enhancement Potions, then he most likely has another formula in his hands. Hmph, that fat bastard really has guts. He keeps taking my things one after another. It seems the warning I gave him last time was far from enough!"

Lilith glanced at Wang Bert. Was that Niels really deliberately released by Blood God? She asked, "Blood God, should we deal with Kingpin personally?"

Mindy blinked, somewhat shocked. Kingpin was the underground emperor, yet her master’s assistant did not take him seriously at all? It seemed she had taken on an extraordinary master! "Forget it. I can’t be bothered to do it myself. Inform Electro and Spider-Man of this information. Let them deal with Kingpin."

Wang Bert shook his head. He was a major boss worth hundreds of billions. How could he act personally whenever he pleased? Lilith nodded. "Alright, I’ll inform them."

After thinking for a moment, Wang Bert instructed, "Have Electro keep an eye on Kingpin’s research. If he finds anything, send it directly to the Osborn Corporation."

Lilith naturally knew Wang Bert wanted to swallow Kingpin’s research results. "Understood."

At that moment, Madame Gao glanced toward the window, walked to Wang Bert’s side, and whispered, "Blood God, the woman in the café across the street has been watching our teahouse for the past few days."

Wang Bert did not take it to heart. He stood and left. When he reached the door, he casually glanced toward the café and happened to see the woman watching the teahouse. He froze. He knew this woman!

It had been mentioned before that Wang Bert had watched the TV series Iron Fist in his previous life, and the woman in the café was its female lead, Colleen Wing, who would one day become Iron Fist’s girlfriend!

"Is she here because of Iron Fist?"

Wang Bert’s eyes flashed as he walked over with Lilith. Seeing her target approach, Colleen Wing hurriedly lowered her head and pretended to drink coffee! Wang Bert sat across from her and said, "I’m in a good mood today. Tell me your purpose, and I’ll give you an answer! You have three seconds."

"You really captured him? Release him."

Colleen stood up excitedly, grabbing the Samurai Sword wrapped in cloth on the table. Seeing this, the other customers in the café hurriedly moved farther away! "Go to that teahouse, defeat Madame Gao, then come talk to me!"

Wang Bert had cleared up his doubts and could not be bothered staying any longer. He rose to leave. Colleen tried to stop him, but Lilith suddenly appeared in front of her and pressed down the hand she was about to use to draw her sword!

Colleen was shocked. What incredible speed!

"Do as BOSS says. That is your only chance!"

Lilith left those words behind, released Colleen’s hand, and turned to follow Wang Bert out!

Colleen watched the two of them with an uncertain expression. After a moment, she made her decision and turned toward the Dragon Subduing Teahouse! No matter what, she could not abandon her master. What she did not know was that at the Dragon Subduing Teahouse, she would receive the greatest blow of her life!

Her master was not the good person she had always believed him to be!…

At an underground laboratory in Hell’s Kitchen, Kingpin asked Bald Doctor, "Is Spider-Man’s blood useful?"

"Of course it is useful. Unfortunately, you did not bring him back, or it would have been even more useful!"

Bald Doctor said excitedly, "With Spider-Man’s blood, I’ll soon complete the final step of the Lizard Serum. When that happens, Kingpin, you will become the true underground emperor. Everyone will have to obey your orders!"

Kingpin left with satisfaction. Bullseye and Wesley were waiting for him outside.

"I’ll prepare it!"

Wesley nodded. They had been unable to afford to provoke the old Blood Clan, much less the current one! Under Blood God’s leadership, the Blood Clan had not declined; instead, it had grown stronger and stronger!

Kingpin clenched his cane and said fiercely, "One day, even the Blood Clan will kneel before me!"

Chief George frowned and asked, "Kingpin? Wilson Fisk? He is the Behind-the-Scenes Manipulator behind the Human Enhancement Potions?"

Trish shook her head. "Besides, I don’t think Kingpin is qualified to make Master act personally!"

Electro also said, "That’s right. We’ll deal with Kingpin ourselves. We can’t rely on Mr. Wang for everything!"

"First, we’ll collect evidence of Kingpin’s crimes."

Chief George said, "As long as we have proof that he committed crimes, we can imprison him. Then we can thoroughly investigate his organization and catch every criminal in one sweep."

Electro thought it over and nodded. "That should work. Let’s gather evidence of Kingpin’s crimes first!"

The Hell Sisters had no objections either. Everyone split up to search for evidence, and Trish also informed Spider-Man. Unfortunately, Kingpin was too cunning and had prepared many scapegoats. The evidence they found was completely useless.

Inside the teahouse, Wang Bert watched the news report about Electro busting a smuggling operation and could not help laughing. At that moment, Colleen Wing suddenly entered his room and knelt before him! "What are you doing? If you have something to say, just say it!"

Wang Bert said irritably, "Plenty of people want to kneel before me. I won’t help them just because they kneel!"

Colleen Wing clasped her hands together, kowtowed to Wang Bert, and pleaded, "Please, Mr. Wang, help me atone for my sins. I am willing to give everything!"

Wang Bert asked, "Atone? For what sin?"

"I was deceived by Bojutsu and trained many students for him. Those students were all homeless youths with tragic pasts. Please, Mr. Wang, help me save them."

Colleen Wing said with immense self-reproach. Those students had trusted her so much, yet she had personally pushed them into hell, turning them into assassins and tools of The Hand!

Colleen Wing could not forgive herself at all. If she did not still have students to save, she would have already committed suicide to atone for her sins! And if she wanted to save them, she could only beg the wealthy and powerful man before her—just as Madame Gao had suggested!

"I cannot guarantee that I will save them all, but I will do my best!"

After thinking for a moment, Wang Bert said, "The condition is that from now on, you must become my maid!"

"Yes, Master!"
