Ghost Rider Attacks

Although Danny Rand owned 51% of Rand Corporation’s shares, he had been missing for over a decade. Those shares had long since been seized by others, and he had no way to prove his identity. So now, he could only be a homeless man!

Rand Corporation’s current situation was nothing like it was in the TV series! "You’re talking about that mystical nonsense again!"

Daredevil sighed helplessly. "Recently, Electro and the others have been investigating Kingpin’s drug factories. I suspect this is one of them. Let’s find a way inside and scout it out!"

"Why not just fight our way in?" Danny asked.

Daredevil gave Danny a speechless "look." This guy was pretty strong, but his intelligence was truly painful.

"It’s not that simple. If it really is a drug factory, there must be a lot of Enhanced Humans inside."

"We’re here to scout today," Daredevil said. "If this really is a production base, we’ll notify Electro and the others to deal with it."

"That electricity-shooting Super Hero? He really is pretty powerful!"

Danny asked, "Daredevil, why don’t you join Watchmen Company?"

"Because I’m only part-time, and nobody buys my merchandise. They all say it’s too ugly."

Daredevil shrugged. "Go make some noise while I sneak in. My hearing is very sharp. As long as I get close, I’ll be able to hear what they’re saying!"

"Okay!"

Danny was about to agree when he suddenly sensed something. He whipped around and saw a ball of blazing fire racing toward them from afar! It moved so fast that, within moments, it had come close enough for Danny to make it out clearly. When he got a good look, he was completely stunned. What the hell was that?

That blazing mass was a Harley War Chariot engulfed in flames. Riding it was a Skeleton Man in a leather jacket—yes, a literal Skeleton Man, with flames burning all over him. He looked unbelievably cool! The fire on the Skeleton Man was scorching hot, and trees along his path burst into flames one after another. Sensing the changing temperature, Daredevil hurriedly asked, "Danny, what’s happening? Why is it getting hotter?"

Danny swallowed. "You probably won’t believe me, but a flaming skeleton is charging this way in a burning war chariot!"

"What?"

Daredevil looked like Danny had to be kidding. At that moment, the factory guards spotted the flames and hurriedly sounded the alarm. But before they could do anything, the Skeleton Man crashed through the gate on his Harley War Chariot and charged into the factory!

Soon afterward, flames soared into the sky inside the factory. Screams, gunfire, and shrieks rang out one after another, making Danny and Daredevil’s scalps tingle! Danny said, "I think we should call in the professionals!"

Daredevil hesitated. "Wait a little longer. Let’s listen some more!"

Before long, the battle inside the factory came to an end. The Skeleton Man grabbed Bullseye by the throat and lifted him entirely off the ground, roaring, "You dared hurt my daughter?"

"I don’t know your daughter! You’ve got the wrong person!" Bullseye cried in terror.

"You are guilty!"

The Skeleton Man dragged Bullseye close, his burning eyes locked tightly onto him. Bullseye involuntarily recalled all the sins he had committed in his life—his crimes were too numerous to count. Shooting him ten times over would have been more than deserved! With so many sins on him, Bullseye’s soul immediately erupted into flames. In mere moments, it turned to ashes! The Skeleton Man tossed Bullseye to the ground, mounted the Harley War Chariot, and sped out of the blazing factory toward Fisk Tower in Hell’s Kitchen. He had just seen that Kingpin was the real culprit!

After the Skeleton Man left, Daredevil and Danny cautiously approached the factory entrance and only "saw" scorched corpses covering the ground.

"Daredevil, what do we do?" Danny asked fearfully. New York was too dangerous. I want to go back to K’un-Lun! "Call them! That monster seems to have another target."

Daredevil took out a special phone and called Electro. Upon receiving the news, Electro immediately informed Chief George. "What? Another Class B incident? Is this ever going to end? It’s only been a few days since Abomination!"

Chief George hurriedly put on his pants. It was bad enough that these bastards caused trouble every day, but they always had to do it in the middle of the night. Were they going to let anyone sleep?

Chief George returned to the precinct at once. By then, someone had already spotted the Skeleton Man. The reason was simple: he was far too flashy. Everywhere he went, he left a trail of burning flames behind him, while nearby trees caught fire.

Someone that flashy was impossible to miss!

"Where did this monster come from now? Don’t tell me the military made another one?"

Chief George was close to losing it when he saw the Skeleton Man and the flaming war chariot. Couldn’t they get some normal criminals for once?

After thinking it over, Chief George dispatched a large number of police cars to intercept the Skeleton Man and called in two helicopters for support.

The police were very dedicated, driving their cruisers flat out as they pursued the Skeleton Man. The Skeleton Man ignored them completely and raced all the way toward Fisk Tower! There were many police cars, but the Harley Motorcycle was simply too agile. They could not stop him at all. At that moment, Electro arrived. Looking at the cool Harley War Chariot, he spoke to Chief George through his earpiece. "It really is a skeleton, Chief. Where’s he headed?"

"I don’t care where he’s going!" Chief George shouted. "Stop him!"

"I’ll try!"

"Are any other Super Heroes coming?" Electro asked.

"Yes. I called New York’s second-strongest Super Hero too," Chief George said.

"Wrong. I’m New York’s strongest Super Hero. That guy isn’t a Super Hero!"

A voice suddenly came through the police channel. Chief George’s face darkened. "Tony Stark, hacking into a police channel without authorization is illegal!"

"So what? Doesn’t Spider-Man listen in on your communications every day?"

Iron Man replied carelessly. At that moment, he too saw the Harley War Chariot. He first exclaimed, "Cool!" before continuing, "This isn’t scientific. At such a high temperature, why hasn’t the motorcycle been burned up? Even more absurdly, that leather jacket is completely intact! And why can a skeleton move?"

"Is that really the point?" Chief George shouted. "Iron Man, stop him!"

"Fine!"

Iron Man did not waste any more words. He flew above the Skeleton Man and called out, "Sir, please stop, or don’t blame me for using force!"

"Get lost!" the Skeleton Man cursed irritably.

Iron Man was astonished. "You can actually talk? That isn’t scientific. You don’t even have vocal cords!"

The Skeleton Man could not be bothered with Iron Man and continued forward at full speed. Iron Man shook his head. "You forced me to do this!"

As he spoke, Iron Man raised his right hand and fired a Pulse Cannon at the Skeleton Man. But with a simple turn, the Skeleton Man easily dodged it! "You’re courting death!"

The Skeleton Man flew into a rage. He pulled off the chain wrapped around his body and lashed it fiercely at Iron Man. Iron Man easily evaded it and was about to make a quip when the chain curved around and came back, wrapping around his lower leg like a living creature! "Get lost!"

With a powerful swing from the Skeleton Man, Iron Man was smashed straight into a nearby building, drawing a wave of screams from the people inside! A reporter arriving by helicopter happened to witness the scene. Holding a microphone, she shouted excitedly, "Iron Man got beaten up again! That’s right, he got beaten up again! Huh, why am I so excited?"

The Skeleton Man ignored Iron Man, reeled in his chain, and continued racing forward. Fisk Tower was almost within reach!

"Iron Man, you suck!"

While mocking him, Electro attacked the Skeleton Man with electricity. The Skeleton Man controlled the war chariot, swerving left and right to effortlessly evade every attack! At that moment, Iron Man caught up from behind. He was getting a little angry, so he activated the Micro Missiles on his shoulders and fired them at the Skeleton Man!

Sensing danger, the Skeleton Man turned and swept his chain, detonating all the Micro Missiles. Then, before everyone’s disbelieving eyes, he raised the front of the Harley War Chariot and drove it straight up Fisk Tower, completely defying gravity!

That was right—the Harley War Chariot drove directly up the skyscraper. Glass shattered with a crash everywhere it passed, creating an exceptionally spectacular sight.

Both the police and the reporters were dumbfounded. You could do that?

"This isn’t scientific! Jarvis, hurry up and send someone to hold down Newton’s coffin lid. Newton’s about to rise from the dead!"

Looking at the fiery trail shooting straight upward at a ninety-degree angle, Iron Man could not help but complain. Jarvis replied, "Sir, Newton will not rise from the dead. There is no need to hold it down."

"Of course I know that! I’m not that high school kid!"

Iron Man chased after him irritably, and Electro did the same. At the same time, Electro hurriedly called Wang Bert. He felt that this was more than he could handle! Wang Bert watched the impossibly cool Skeleton Man on television and felt a headache coming on. "Even Ghost Rider showed up?"

After thinking for a moment, Wang Bert said to Electro, "Max, don’t attack him for now. If I’m not mistaken, he’s here for Kingpin!"

"Here for Kingpin? Daredevil also said he attacked Kingpin’s factory!"

Electro suddenly understood. "Mr. Wang, I’ll keep an eye on him and wait for your instructions!"

"Okay!"

Wang Bert nodded and sent a photo of the Skeleton Man to Osborn Corporation’s technical department, asking them to reconstruct what the skeleton had looked like "before his death."

The police often used this kind of technology. Of course, their technology was nowhere near as good as Osborn Corporation’s. Before long, the technical department sent back the reconstructed image!

Wang Bert rubbed his brow. Hit-Girl’s father, Big Daddy, and Ghost Rider Exploding Flame Johnny were both played by Nicolas Zhao Si—no, by Nicolas Cage. Judging from Ghost Rider going after Kingpin, the two might have been merged into one! Couldn’t they have just made them twins? The designer of this world is too lazy!

Wang Bert complained inwardly. At that moment, Ivan called and asked, "Do you need me to step in? That sissy Tony is obviously no good!"

"You really can’t handle this Ghost Rider," Wang Bert said. "How about this, Ivan? Go challenge Tony to a one-on-one fight. I don’t want him meddling in this!"

Leaving Wang Bert aside for now, Ghost Rider raced all the way to the rooftop, just in time to see a helicopter preparing to leave. He roared and wrapped the helicopter with his chain, then pulled with all his strength, forcibly dragging it out of the sky!

Boom! The helicopter crashed onto the rooftop and exploded violently, flames scattering everywhere. Ghost Rider climbed down from the Harley War Chariot and strode into the fire, only to find a single corpse inside! "Kingpin isn’t here!"

Ghost Rider was furious. Just as he was about to search again, Electro flew up and said helplessly, "I checked. Kingpin isn’t in this building. He escaped. The helicopter was just a decoy!"

"He isn’t here?"

Ghost Rider was somewhat puzzled by Iron Man suddenly leaving, but he soon shook his head and returned to his war chariot, preparing to leave!

Just then, Electro suddenly said, "Mr. Wang wants to talk to you about your daughter."

"My daughter?"

Ghost Rider glared at Electro, the flames on his head surging wildly. "You dare use my daughter to threaten me?"

Electro could not help taking a step back. "No. Your daughter has already taken Mr. Wang as her master. He wants to discuss matters related to the crime of child abandonment with you!"

"Taken a master? Child abandonment?"

Ghost Rider froze. Then he got onto his war chariot and asked in a deep voice, "Where is he?"

Electro gave him the exact address. "At the docks south of Hell’s Kitchen!"

Ghost Rider did not reply. He simply drove off the skyscraper. Electro could not help shaking his head. No matter how many times he saw it, it still did not seem scientific.

After receiving the notice, the police below stopped chasing Ghost Rider. Chief George asked Electro through his phone, "Can Mr. Wang deal with that monster?"

"Of course he can. There’s nothing Mr. Wang can’t do!" Electro said.

"That’s good. Give me a detailed report afterward. I need to answer to the public and the media!"

Chief George added, "Also, who’s covering the losses this time?"

"Watchmen Company will cover part of them, but not Kingpin’s factory or tower."

Electro smiled faintly and turned into a bolt of electricity, chasing after Ghost Rider.
