Confidence in Strength

"Mr. Kassadin, Mr. Tony said that space-jump technology has achieved a practical breakthrough."

"It won’t be long before he can create space-jump technology with even better performance."

"Mr. Tony truly is a genius."

After learning the news from Lalatina, Sonia spoke up.

"With others helping him, it still took eight months. It seems space-jump technology gave even Tony quite a few difficult problems."

Harvey said with a smile after hearing Sonia’s words.

"Even with a large amount of research data and assistance from professionals."

"Being able to develop it in just eight months is already extremely fast."

"After all, it is one of the core functions of a Cosmic Battleship. Without it, interstellar travel cannot be achieved."

"Being able to create the first prototype, even if its functions are not yet complete, means he has overcome the most crucial difficulties."

"Now, as long as Tony creates a super-powerful engine fully suited to a Cosmic Battleship, he can gradually begin learning how to build Cosmic Battleships."

Sonia explained after hearing Mr. Kassadin’s words.

Cosmic Battleships originally required powerful energy sources as well, but Sonia knew that Mr. Tony himself had mastered Arc Reactor technology.

This technology could provide a Cosmic Battleship with more than enough energy, so there was no need to consider how to create one.

"I know. I wasn’t saying Tony isn’t a genius. I was merely reflecting on the fact that even he spent so much time on it."

Harvey said with a smile.

After all, Tony’s ability to learn in all sorts of scientific fields was such that he could become an expert in a particular field overnight. His talent could be described as freakish.

Yet space-wormhole jump technology had troubled Tony for eight months, and he had only produced the first prototype.

The amount of knowledge required to create Cosmic Fighters and Cosmic Battleships would undoubtedly be astonishing.

"I see. But after achieving a practical breakthrough, Mr. Tony actually didn’t come personally to tell us."

"Instead, he planned to take a few days off and went out directly."

"Looks like Mr. Tony was exhausted too."

Sonia said with a smile after hearing Mr. Kassadin’s words.

"That’s normal. His nature has always been to enjoy roaming around."

"If he weren’t carrying pressure on his shoulders, he could play around every day."

Harvey said with a smile after hearing Sonia’s words.

"What pressure is Mr. Tony carrying?"

"Did the issue I mentioned before, about lacking money, put Mr. Tony under a lot of pressure?"

"Then should I tell Mr. Tony that there’s no need to be in such a hurry?"

Sonia asked somewhat strangely after hearing this.

"No. How could money possibly become a source of pressure for him?"

"It’s other matters that have placed some heavy pressure upon him."

Harvey shook his head and spoke calmly, without explaining much.

In truth, it would have been very easy for Harvey to erase those pressures for Tony, because what Tony worried about was the enemy Blue Star would encounter in several years.

Since Tony did not know whether Harvey would help when the time came, he had been carrying immense pressure and did not dare rest for too long.

However, Harvey had no intention of helping Tony relieve that pressure, because Tony’s personality was somewhat lazy by nature.

Without pressure, Tony really could spend every day roaming around and having fun. That was no joke.

After hearing Mr. Kassadin say it was not a money problem, Sonia breathed a sigh of relief and fell into thought.

Indeed, for a talented billionaire like Mr. Tony, as long as he had capital to work with at the start, money would never be a problem afterward.

Considering Mr. Tony’s identity, he was a Blue Star resident from one of the Nine Realms.

Blue Star had also suffered an attack from the Chitauri last time. Mr. Tony was probably worried about extraterrestrial invasions of Blue Star.

Although this was only Sonia’s guess, she felt that this was likely the pressure Mr. Tony carried.

Honestly, Mr. Tony did not need to bear this pressure. After all, Mr. Tony had the Void Cult behind him and possessed the ability to travel freely among planets throughout the universe.

Yet Mr. Tony’s willingness to shoulder such pressure also proved that he was a responsible person.

"Mr. Kassadin, don’t you plan to help Mr. Tony?"

After thinking things through, Sonia spoke.

Sonia would not have asked this about other Void Cult members, but she knew that Mr. Tony and Mr. Kassadin had a rather good relationship.

"Depending on the circumstances, I may lend a hand when the time comes, but not now."

"Because sometimes, only pressure can become the motivation to move forward."

"The more pressure Tony carries, the more he will find ways to work hard and move forward. He is a futurist."

Harvey knew that Sonia had likely guessed something, so he spoke.

"…"

After pondering his words, Sonia understood.

In her view, Mr. Tony and Mr. Kassadin had a very close relationship, but based on what Mr. Kassadin had said.

Mr. Kassadin was likely also a deeply mysterious existence to Mr. Tony.

Not knowing whether Mr. Kassadin would help him out when the time came, Tony carried a tremendous burden on his shoulders.

"Furthermore, Tony possesses genius-level talent, and his current strength is also quite impressive."

"He may not necessarily need my help to overcome his difficulties."

"Appropriate intervention can aid growth, but excessive intervention can instead harm someone."

Harvey’s eyes flickered slightly as he spoke slowly.

He had already given Tony an opportunity, allowing Tony to possess more than enough strength to face all kinds of enemies in the future.

Therefore, Harvey had never told Tony that he would absolutely stand on Blue Star’s side. Once he did, Tony would definitely begin slacking off.

The reason Harvey dared to slack off now, enjoying Sonia’s service every day while watching the Void Cult slowly develop.

Was mainly because he had become extremely confident in his own strength, and he also intended to seize some Infinity Stones.

As long as Thanos was not allowed to gather all six Infinity Stones, Thanos could not threaten him.

Of course, Harvey also knew that without the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos was not the most terrifying enemy in the Marvel universe.

The universe was so vast, and all manner of great beings had yet to appear.

However, as long as he did not take the initiative to provoke those people, they generally would not threaten him.

So naturally, he had no need to feel afraid. He only needed to act entirely according to his own wishes.

"So that’s how it is."

After hearing Mr. Kassadin’s words, Sonia knew that her guess had been correct and also understood Mr. Kassadin’s way of doing things.

She also knew why Mr. Kassadin had been willing to answer her.

Because even if he told her, before receiving instructions, she would not breathe a single word of it to anyone.
