Practical Breakthrough
With Mr. Kassadin’s approval, Sonia immediately took out the original plan and began her work.
In less than three days,
the members on Void Island saw the familiar construction company workers return.
The male Void Cult members watched the large machinery at work with great interest.
Sarah saw a group of men gathered together, discussing something. Even Lord Renoli and Lord Kyle were watching, so she thought something special had happened.
But when Sarah arrived and saw the large machines at work, her interest immediately waned.
"Lord Kyle, don’t you need to train?"
Seeing Lord Kyle watching as well, Sarah asked curiously.
"Let’s watch for a while first."
Kyle glanced over when he heard Sarah’s voice, then said with a smile.
His gaze then returned to the large machinery below, its engines roaring as it dug through mountains and earth.
"Is watching these machines work really that interesting?"
Sarah saw that not only Lord Kyle, but the other men as well, were interested in the large machinery.
"Mr. Tony said that men all enjoy the romance of large machines in operation."
"Especially when they’re changing the landscape and reshaping mountains. Men enjoy watching that even more, and it seems to apply regardless of age."
Since Tony spent every day in the laboratory, Lalatina had been relatively free. She had come over to take a look, and upon hearing Sarah’s words, she spoke up.
"I see… Then I’ll watch too."
Sarah truly could not understand it, but she had nothing else to do anyway.
Thus, a rather peculiar scene appeared: a group of powerful people capable of flying through the skies watched construction workers operate large machinery.
The construction workers had long grown accustomed to their presence, so they paid no attention and continued operating the machines diligently.
Inside the Summit Villa.
Sonia saw Mr. Kassadin standing directly on the fourth-floor balcony, looking in one direction.
She curiously looked as well and discovered that Mr. Kassadin was watching the large machinery in operation.
Sonia had learned a great deal and knew that men had an inexplicable sense of romance and pursuit when it came to large machinery.
She simply had not expected that someone as powerful as Mr. Kassadin would also be interested in such things.
With Mr. Kassadin’s strength, let alone splitting mountains and cracking the earth, even leveling the entire island would likely be effortless.
Still, there was nothing wrong with Mr. Kassadin enjoying the sight.
Afterward, Sonia lay down on a nearby lounge chair, stretching out her fair, slender legs as she continued working.
After the New Year, Void Island once again returned to a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere.
Four months quietly passed. The winter snow melted and spring arrived, while more entertainment facilities appeared on the island.
At the same time, with the help of thirteen scientists, Tony successfully developed the first prototype of wormhole jump technology.
Spatial wormhole jump technology required powerful spatial computation capabilities, allowing it to quickly calculate the destination on the other side of the wormhole.
It also required powerful radar scanning capabilities, since while traveling through space, it needed to calculate where nearby spatial wormholes were located.
Most importantly, it required a powerful shielding capability to reduce the burden during wormhole jumps.
All three of those requirements involved an enormous amount of knowledge.
Even though Tony was a genius and had the aid of vast amounts of research data, the three primary functions of the first prototype he had just created were still relatively weak.
It was far inferior to the spatial wormhole jump technology provided by the large Cosmic Battleships available on the market.
However, this meant that Tony had truly understood the principles through various research data and successfully created the first prototype of his own spatial wormhole jump technology.
All he had to do next was figure out how to improve it.
The thirteen scientists from Mogri saw that Tony Stark had completely mastered the research data and all the calculations in merely four months.
They were all deeply impressed. Moreover, although Jarvis was not a photonic computer, it was unquestionably an extremely advanced intelligent AI.
No wonder General Lex had specifically arranged for them to work with Tony.
Although Tony Stark came from Blue Star, whose civilization was still extremely backward, his talent and the technology he possessed were both astonishing.
However, after spending eight months successfully researching the first prototype, Tony walked out of the laboratory.
He first treated the thirteen scientists Lex had sent to a good meal, then gave each of them thirty million in compensation.
Tony took the wine Lalatina had thoughtfully poured for him and looked out the window at the season of spring, at the trees beginning to revive with life. He decided to give himself a few days off.
If his research had made no progress, Tony would not have dared to relax.
But now that the research had achieved a breakthrough, he could relax for a few days and reward himself.
Balancing work and rest was also important. Otherwise, even Tony, who was deeply obsessed with research, would gradually lose his passion.
"Lalatina, help me contact Miss Sonia."
"Tell her that our spatial wormhole technology has made a practical breakthrough and that we’ve developed the first prototype."
"Give me some more time. I won’t claim that I can create advanced machinery that completely surpasses every wormhole jump technology on the market, but making something with comparable performance won’t be difficult."
"So I’m planning to give you a few days off as well. Consider it a short vacation."
After taking a sip of fine wine, Tony spoke.
"Mr. Tony, you’ve worked hard."
"I just wonder how Mr. Tony plans to relax during his break?"
Hearing Mr. Tony’s words, Lalatina looked at him with admiration and nodded.
Although she did not possess such profound knowledge, she knew that creating one’s own spatial jump machinery could bring immense wealth.
"Of course, I’ll call Kyle and the others and make a trip to the Celebrity Hotel."
"After all, I promised Kyle before that I’d take them there to relax."
"More than half a year has passed in the blink of an eye. If I don’t take them there, they’ll probably think I forgot."
Tony answered without hesitation, as though it were only natural.
"Then I wish Mr. Tony a wonderful time."
Lalatina did not think much of it and simply offered her blessing.
Aside from the time of the New Year Pilgrimage, Mr. Tony had spent almost all seven months in the laboratory.
He spent every day surrounded by all kinds of machinery. Now that he had achieved some results, it was only normal for him to relax.
Lalatina then directly contacted Sonia-senpai to deliver the news.
Tony also directly asked Kyle and the others where they were through the group community. After finding out, he left to look for them.
Fourth update delivered.
