Do Nothing Meaningless

Although Thor was not a member of the Void Cult, he would become the future guardian of the Nine Realms.

Naturally, Tony hoped Thor would become as strong as possible.

Ideally, as strong as God King Odin. Then the Nine Realms would not have to worry about encountering any major dangers, and he himself would have enough time to grow at his own pace.

So Tony wanted Thor to recognize these issues and find a way to become stronger.

Rather than knowing nothing and passively increasing his strength as he grew older.

After hearing Tony’s words, Thor understood that if he wanted to challenge higher floors, he first had to adapt to the lowest level’s tenfold gravity.

So Thor began running at once, deliberately controlling his strength and minimizing the burden his running placed on the ground.

It was a technique for dispersing force. Thor could tell that Tony’s control over his physical strength surpassed his own.

He had originally come here to thank Void Envoy Sonia and catch up with Tony.

He had never expected the Void Cult to have something like a gravity tower.

Although the training environment was admittedly harsh, seeing Tony’s control over his own power—

Thor could tell that if he could fully adapt to an environment with dozens of times normal gravity, he would certainly be able to control the power within his body more effectively.

Loki was also unwilling to admit defeat. Otherwise, he would not have gone to every possible length to become the king of Asgard before.

Although his divine body was not as powerful as Thor’s, he still possessed Frost Giant blood. Physically, Frost Giants were one of the strongest races in the universe.

He might not be able to adapt to the same level of gravity as Thor, but there was no way he would lose to Thor on the first floor’s tenfold gravity.

However, unlike Thor, who was all brawn and little brain, Loki did not immediately start running. Instead, he recalled Tony’s movements from earlier.

Then, following his memory, he jumped again, trying to figure out how to disperse the impact more perfectly when he landed.

Rather than stubbornly forcing his way through things, Loki preferred to think first, then apply the tricks he had discovered.

People often said that mages had the heart of a melee fighter. In truth, Loki had never neglected his close-combat training since childhood.

With a divine artifact in hand, Loki could still trade a few moves with Thor in close-quarters combat.

"No matter what kind of gravity you’re in, if you want to move freely while training—

"You need to reduce wasted effort as much as possible.

"Otherwise, even if both of you have incredibly strong bodies and great endurance, you still won’t be able to train freely under gravity for twelve straight hours.

"If you master this technique, even if you can’t stay in the gravity chamber for long—

"You’ll have more than enough stamina to deal with enemies when you encounter battle."

Tony stood to the side with his arms crossed, watching the two of them as he spoke.

Thor and Loki had likely been born powerful, so compared to learning how to use their strength, they were more accustomed to unleashing it without restraint.

But Tony had grown step by step from a weakling into a powerhouse through extensive training.

Only by exchanging insights on evolution and techniques for applying force with the various Void Cult members—including Renoli and others, but not limited to them—and learning from them had Tony become as powerful as he was now.

Against enemies weaker than himself, he could easily crush them with overwhelming strength, along with some technique and intelligence.

But against powerhouses stronger than himself, like Banner—

If he wanted to win, he had to use his brain more and fight with techniques he was better at.

Otherwise, if he could not disperse force or perfectly control his own strength, then head-on clashes with Banner would leave him with no chance of winning at all.

Since Tony had joined the Void Cult and entered the world of the strong—

What did it matter if his starting point was lower than those with superpowers? He would still find a way to climb higher.

Rather than blaming heaven and earth or complaining about what he lacked, he preferred to give it everything he had.

After all, in the field of technology, he had already reached the pinnacle of humanity in certain respects.

When it was time to relax, he relaxed. When it was time to work, he worked. And when it was time to train, he trained with everything he had.

Advancing according to his own plans was simply Tony’s nature.

Of course, Tony would not force others to follow his way. He had merely seen that Thor wanted to use the gravity chamber to become stronger.

Naturally, Tony would offer suitable advice.

After hearing this, Thor began consciously controlling how he used his strength.

As for Loki, he did not need Tony’s advice at all. Just from watching Tony’s demonstration earlier, he had already understood the key to moving freely in the gravity chamber.

Meanwhile, outside the gravity tower.

The Void Cult’s group community had already begun discussing the matter.

"I just saw Loki from Asgard."

"Not just him. If I wasn’t mistaken, I think I saw the legendary Thor."

"The two brothers came together?"

"Yeah. They’re with Tony and Banner right now."

"More than that, I’m curious about why they came this time."

Recorder Sarah: "What? Loki and Thor?"

Supersonic Renoli: "We have already learned that Thor and Loki, God of Mischief, came this time to apologize for their previous rudeness."

Precognitor: "And to thank Miss Sonia for sparing their lives last time, so there is no need for everyone to be so hostile."

"If they truly came to apologize and express their gratitude, then they can still be forgiven."

"But if they fail to appreciate the kindness shown to them and dare to disrespect Lord Kassadin again, we’ll make sure they never leave."

Renoli and Precognitor’s words greatly eased the Void Cult members’ hostility toward Thor and Loki.

Still, they all wanted to see for themselves whether Thor and Loki had truly come only to thank and apologize.

Inside Summit Villa.

"Mr. Kassadin, Thor and Loki, God of Mischief, have arrived."

"What do you think of their visit?"

Sonia had also learned the news through the information exchanged in the Void Cult’s group community.

"If they came as guests rather than to make trouble, let them be."

Hearing Sonia’s question, Harvey answered calmly.

Of course, he knew Thor and Loki had arrived. He also knew perfectly well that the two were currently training in the gravity chamber with Tony and Banner.

The gravity tower did not prohibit outsiders from entering in the first place, so it was nothing worth worrying about.

Compared to such trivial matters, what Harvey wanted to know was whether Tony’s actions would cause Thor to grow stronger ahead of time.

In terms of potential, Thor was not inferior to Banner in the slightest. In fact, Thor’s foundation was even more well-rounded than Banner’s.

Banner’s Hulk Power was purely physical strength. Although physical power alone could make someone strong, it was ultimately not comprehensive enough.

Thor’s Godly Power, however, encompassed both physical strength and magic.

Thor was simply still too young. He had not experienced enough life-and-death partings, and had yet to truly mature.

But there was no doubt that however strong God King Odin was, Thor would eventually grow nearly as strong as him—or perhaps even surpass Odin—and create a legend of his own.

"Then should I go see them?"

After hearing Mr. Kassadin’s words, Sonia understood what he meant. She thought for a moment before asking.

"They want to thank you, not the other way around.

"So you don’t need to go out of your way to see them. Just do what you need to do.

"If you happen to run into them, then have a chat with them.

"God King Odin of Asgard gave me an Infinity Stone.

"The Void Cult and Asgard are not allies at the moment, but we can still be considered friends.

"So there is nothing wrong with them visiting Void Island as guests."

Harvey spoke slowly.

"I see. Understood."

It was the first time Sonia had heard of this. Her pupils contracted slightly, but she did not press for details. Instead, she nodded slightly as she spoke.

Although she did not know what the six Infinity Stones specifically were, Mr. Kassadin had told her that collecting all six would grant one nearly omnipotent power.

She had originally wanted to ask Mr. Kassadin why, if they were so powerful, he had not gathered them himself.

Given the abilities of the Void Cult’s many members, collecting the Infinity Stones should have been possible.

She had simply never found a suitable opportunity to ask. She had never expected Mr. Kassadin to already possess two of them.

She did not know how Mr. Kassadin, who possessed two Infinity Stones, viewed the Infinity Stones themselves.

But it was certainly a good thing for such treasures to remain in Mr. Kassadin’s hands.

"There’s no need to be so surprised. It was merely a transaction between Odin and me.

"He gave me a stone, and depending on the circumstances, I am to protect Asgard."

Noticing the surprise in Sonia’s eyes, Harvey took a sip of rich red tea and spoke calmly.

Upon hearing that it had been a transaction, Sonia did not ask when the deal had been made.

Because she already knew without asking.

While Mr. Kassadin was on Xandar, with her serving him, he spent every day living a carefree life like a salted fish.

Every day, he ate and drank, found things to pass the time, checked on the island’s situation, and recently, he had added another activity—Mr. Kassadin would occasionally go out to find women.

But in all those activities, Mr. Kassadin had never contacted God King Odin.

So the only time Mr. Kassadin could have made a deal with God King Odin was when he had been on Earth.

Mr. Kassadin truly did not do meaningless things. He had said he went to Earth to watch the show, but in reality, he had likely gone to find God King Odin—and recruit some talented people along the way.

Mr. Tony Stark and Mr. Bruce Banner were both geniuses.

After learning the knowledge of civilizations throughout the universe, Mr. Bruce Banner had displayed extraordinary intelligence. He was now helping Mr. Tony research thruster engines.

With those two talents around, the Void Cult’s technology would soar as well.

The third update, three thousand words, delivered.
