Entering Marvel
Looking at the azure Space Stone in his hand, Xiao Hen fell into deep thought.
Long ago, in the Story World of Captain America, he had snatched the Space Stone from Red Skull. A single Infinity Stone might not have been all that useful, but once all six were gathered, their power would be utterly terrifying—at the very least, a level-nine item, perhaps even higher.
After all, in the Marvel Universe, Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet had been capable of confronting the Five Elders head-on. That was a terrifying record of fighting five alone.
Thanos was the real name of the Mad Titan. He was a frightening fellow, possessing both an intelligent mind and immense power. After the Death Goddess he secretly loved cursed him into an immortal being, Thanos had gradually embarked on a path that defied the heavens. He was practically the bearer of the protagonist’s halo in the Marvel Universe.
"Before gathering the Six Great Gems, Thanos’s strength should have been roughly on par with my current Main God Avatar—Main God-level Combat Power! Once he gathered the Infinity Stones, he would become utterly heaven-defying, directly surpassing even the Supreme Gods!" Xiao Hen thought. "In the divine hierarchy, Supreme Gods are a rank above Main Gods, the endpoint of the divine system and the most supreme existences! In the Marvel Universe, they should correspond to the level of the five creator gods."
Of course, all of this was merely Xiao Hen’s own speculation, information inferred from the power systems in the movies and Marvel comics. As for the actual details, he would need to experience them himself. This would not be a simple matter.
"Shuttle, prepare to travel to the Marvel Universe!" Xiao Hen flipped his hand and stored the Space Stone away. Even without the Godhead in his main body, he was still a god rather than a mortal. Naturally, he could directly touch the Space Stone without being blown apart by the power within it.
After regaining the Space Stone, Xiao Hen could clearly feel that his authority as the Lord of Time and Space had increased tremendously. The main improvement was in his spatial abilities. In terms of spatial power alone, this main body was now no weaker than his Main God Avatar. However, his power over time was far inferior to the avatar’s, only equivalent to that of an ordinary god.
"Host, I have to remind you of something. When you previously entered the Marvel Universe, your power level was still extremely low, low enough to attract only the slightest attention from the World Will. But things are different now!" the Shuttle said. "Even if only your main body enters without carrying the Main Godhead, you still possess formidable Combat Power equivalent to an ordinary god. Once you enter the Marvel Universe, it will provoke a major reaction from the World Will!"
"I know!" Of course Xiao Hen knew this, but his determination to collect the Six Great Gems had never wavered. That was one reason. The second was Galactus, the leader of the Five Elders in the Marvel Universe, a terrifying being who had been the sole survivor of the previous cosmic era. He wanted to investigate exactly how Galactus had survived the destruction of the universe. That would be immensely beneficial when facing the end of the universe in the future.
"It’s not like I’ll be wiped out by the Five Elders the moment I enter, right?" Xiao Hen said with a smile.
"That will not happen. Host, you have not reached that level yet! The Five Elders will not notice you unless your Main God Avatar enters!" the Shuttle said.
It was like a wild beast breaking into your home—you would certainly use some means to eliminate it. But if an ant entered instead, even if you knew about it, you would not take it to heart.
Xiao Hen’s current main body was not weak in Combat Power, but it was still far behind his Main God Avatar. The gap was not just in Combat Power, but also in how he wielded his strength. The Main God Avatar could use the Main Godhead to connect with the Heart of the Angel across countless spacetime planes, while his main body could not. And that was far from the only difference.
However, Xiao Hen did not regret giving the Main Godhead to his avatar to fuse with. Without the restrictions of the Main Godhead, he would have the chance to surpass the Supreme Gods. With the Main Godhead, the endpoint of the Main God Avatar would only be the Supreme God level, the level of the Five Elders in the Marvel World. Perhaps that was already quite good, enough to roam freely through the entire multiverse, but it was not what Xiao Hen wanted. He wanted more.
"The end of the universe…" Xiao Hen sighed, then opened his eyes, his gaze filled with determination.
"Shuttle, begin!"
Even with his own power, not even the Main God Avatar could travel to the Marvel Universe. It was a universe no less vast than the Real World and the countless planes extended from it.
The Marvel Universe possessed ten dimensions, and each of those ten dimensions contained endless multiverses and parallel spacetime continuums. The stories of the Marvel films and comics took place in one multiverse within one of those dimensions.
The Marvel Universe was so vast, and it contained heaven-defying objects like the Infinity Stones. Xiao Hen had no choice but to go.
"Please confirm, Host. Do you wish to enter the Marvel Universe?" the Shuttle reminded him solemnly.
"Confirmed!" Xiao Hen nodded. The Divine Kingdom was still expanding, with the Main God Avatar overseeing it. The avatar was also overseeing the Virtual Mall, as well as the Real World. Everything had already been arranged. Next, he had to prepare for the end of the Real World’s great universe hundreds of billions of years from now. He did not want to follow in the footsteps of the previous Shuttle Master. Even such a powerful Shuttle Master had fallen amid the universe’s extinction. If he wanted to continue existing, he had to strive for it. Whether or not he succeeded in the end, he had to try, because without trying, he was guaranteed not to survive. But if he tried, there would always be the slightest possibility.
"Marvel Universe traversal initiated!" The Shuttle had already activated its power of traversal. A strange ripple of power enveloped Xiao Hen’s main body, and with a flash, he vanished from the Super String Space.
Marvel Universe, a certain dimension, a certain multiverse, the Milky Way Galaxy, the Orion Arm, the Solar System, Earth.
In a small North American city, beneath blue skies and white clouds, a gentle breeze drifted through the streets as its residents went about their daily work, school, travel, and other activities.
This small city was called Belan City. It was located in northern Texas, bordering Oklahoma. As the largest state in the southern United States, Texas was extraordinarily vast, and it had many such obscure little cities.
Beside a small lake in a park within the city, in a place that had originally been silent and deserted, a spatial ripple flashed. A black-haired man with an ordinary appearance appeared by the lakeside. This man was none other than Xiao Hen.
"Where is this?" Xiao Hen opened his eyes and looked around.
"This is Earth!" the Shuttle said.
"Oh!"
Xiao Hen did not ask the Shuttle anything further. Instead, he directly spread out his Divine Sense. His incomparably vast Divine Sense instantly covered the entire globe and even extended beyond Earth, sweeping across the whole Solar System. Everything within the Solar System appeared in his mind.
