Erha Appeared, and the Heavenly Court Sent Someone

When Sun Wukong heard Su Yu say that his title sounded imposing, he immediately burst into happy laughter.

"Junior Brother, in the thirty years you were gone, your monkeys and descendants have become quite different. Come, follow me." Su Yu smiled and headed toward the Water Curtain Cave.

Sun Wukong followed him in confusion, while the ten elders immediately rushed ahead into the Water Curtain Cave.

The ten elders shouted, "Little ones! Begin!"

All the monkeys and descendants shouted in unison.

Immediately afterward, dazzling green light began radiating from everyone’s bodies. In an instant, the heavens and earth changed color, and all the flowers, grass, and trees within the Water Curtain Cave trembled before rapidly moving.

Countless pieces of wood and vines fused together, then formed a pair of legs on each side of a large open space.

Next, all kinds of flowers within the Water Curtain Cave began circling two whirlpools. Moments later, they formed two bodies and fused with the pairs of legs.

Then, the wild grass on the ground floated up and surged toward the arms of the two bodies. The grass slowly condensed into two pairs of arms, but it was not over yet. The grass actually began forming weapons as well: a long staff and a spear. By then, Sun Wukong had already guessed what his monkeys and descendants were doing.

After the weapons and arms were formed, the excess grass returned to the ground. Then countless oddly shaped fruits flew up and began spinning around the tops of the two bodies. The flowers, grass, and trees scattered away. Su Yu and Sun Wukong looked at the two giants, which had been created in their likenesses. They were both dressed in armor, one resembling Sun Wukong and the other Su Yu.

Sun Wukong’s eyes lit up. "Then I’ll leave a strand of divine consciousness too."

As he spoke, Sun Wukong left a strand of divine consciousness inside his grass-and-wood giant.

"Great King, Great King, aren’t we amazing?" some little monkeys immediately shouted.

Sun Wukong said with a smile, "Haha, of course you are amazing, but you’re still not as amazing as your Great King."

"Enough, enough. Stop showing off. You should get ready instead. Someone from the Heavenly Court should be arriving soon." Su Yu rolled his eyes at Sun Wukong.

Sun Wukong looked bewildered. "Someone from the Heavenly Court? What are they coming for?"

Su Yu looked at Sun Wukong. "What do you think? You openly rebelled against the Heavenly Court and even named yourself the Great Sage Equal to Heaven. Do you think that old Jade Emperor wouldn’t send someone to capture you?"

Sun Wukong curled his lip. "That old Jade Emperor is so petty. No wonder so many of his officials’ houses got torn down!"

The moment Su Yu heard the words "houses got torn down," he caught onto them and immediately asked, "What happened? Did something happen when you went to the Heavenly Court this time?"

Sun Wukong sat down in his Great King’s seat. "Senior Brother, sit down first. I’ll tell you slowly."

Su Yu nodded and sat opposite Sun Wukong. Sun Wukong immediately began, "Here’s what happened. Didn’t that old Jade Emperor trick me by giving me the position of Keeper of the Heavenly Horses? "Junior Brother, do you know why that big dog… wolf tore down their houses?" Su Yu asked.

Sun Wukong shook his head. "I’m not sure. I only heard that giant wolf shout something. It seemed to mean that the Heavenly Court had offended its master, so it went to tear down their houses."

Scratching his head, Sun Wukong said, "I don’t think I’d be a match for that giant wolf either. So why didn’t it just go cause havoc in the Heavenly Court? Why did it make trouble at those officials’ houses instead?"

A smile appeared at the corner of Su Yu’s mouth. If you could figure out what Erha was thinking, then you’d be impressive too.

After hearing Sun Wukong’s words, Su Yu was already certain that the so-called giant wolf was Erha.

As the two chatted, the Heavenly Court’s Heavenly Soldiers and Generals had already arrived. A vast expanse of white filled the sky as Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King Li Jing shouted, "Demon monkey Sun Wukong, come out and accept your death!"

Li Jing’s voice echoed throughout Flower Fruit Mountain. Sun Wukong immediately stood up, while Su Yu glanced outside the Water Curtain Cave. "Looks like they’ve arrived. Junior Brother, do you need my help?"

With a wave of his hand, Sun Wukong summoned the Golden Cudgel. Then, speaking as he flew outside, he said, "Senior Brother, just sit there. They’re nothing but ants. Watch me kill them with one strike of my staff!"

After saying that, Sun Wukong had already flown into the sky. He stood before a hundred thousand Heavenly Soldiers and Generals, yet his aura was not the slightest bit weaker.

"Demon monkey, you rebelled against the Heavenly Court and named yourself the Great Sage Equal to Heaven. Prepare to die!" Li Jing pointed at Sun Wukong and shouted.

Sun Wukong’s unruly lips curled into a disdainful smile. "That old Jade Emperor tricked me and made me the Keeper of the Heavenly Horses. I haven’t even gone to settle the score with him, yet you came looking for me first. Are you so eager to taste this Great Sage’s staff?"
