Fair Fight

"Hahaha."

Thanos laughed as if he had heard the funniest joke ever. "Blood God, is something wrong with your brain? Even your true body might not be able to defeat me, much less a mere avatar like you. I’ve known your strength for a long time. You’re not even an Ancient God. Honestly, you’re an embarrassment to the Blood God."

"I want to break through to Ancient God too, but the problem is that I can only exist at the God level because I have to abide by the Creator God’s contract."

Wang Bert shrugged and asked with a smile, "Do you want to know what Death paid to make me sign that contract?"

Thanos flew into a rage and roared, "Blood God!"

"Don’t get worked up. It was just a joke. Back then, Death and I were still innocent, and she didn’t have any of my stuff on her."

Wang Bert smiled. "Though I really want to beat you up right away, the battle below isn’t over yet. Let’s wait a little."

"You can’t even beat one of my fingers."

Thanos said disdainfully, "I’ll kill you, then smash Earth with one punch and take the Materialism Power. With the Materialism Power in hand, your true body will be no match for me."

"One punch to smash it? Too bad my true body can’t get in. Otherwise, I’d definitely show you what it means to smash something with one punch."

Wang Bert said, "You have no idea how strong I am. Even Death had no choice but to submit beneath my feet. Oh, and by the way, your destiny is gone. I’ve taken over Death’s job. I’ll help Death maintain the Universe Balance."

"That is my destiny. No one can take it from me."

Thanos was so enraged that his body was practically turning from purple to red. He wildly punched the Space Cage, and cracks gradually began to appear across it.

Wang Bert turned and shouted at everyone, "Hey, Thanos is about to break free. Are you done yet? If you’re not, I won’t let you watch the show later."

"Almost."

Hearing this, everyone sped up their attacks to eliminate their enemies. A God-level avatar challenging a Creator God—how could they possibly miss a spectacle like this? This battle alone would give them something to brag about for a hundred years.

Thanos gritted his teeth and said, "Blood God, you will pay for your Pride and arrogance."

Wang Bert said helplessly, "I wasn’t this arrogant before. But one day, I woke up and suddenly realized I was already invincible in the world. Under those circumstances, it’s hard not to be arrogant."

Thanos was speechless. He stopped talking and focused solely on smashing the Space Cage. He swore that he would not let Blood God die too easily.

"Death, why would you do this to me?"

Thanos’s heart was filled with pain. Death had not only done that with Blood God, she had also given Blood God his destiny. To Thanos, that was no different from betrayal.

"You must have been forced. Don’t worry, I’ll help you wash away this humiliation."

Thanos found an excuse for Death in his heart. This was a common trait among simps—simps did not need their goddess to explain herself. They would convince themselves.

On Earth, Old Tony held a test tube of purplish-red blood, his expression somewhat hesitant. The blood came from Thanos of this universe and contained Thanos’s Eternal genes. Old Tony was considering whether to add those genes to his Anti-Blood God Armor.

"A God-level avatar fighting Creator God Thanos—there’s no logical way for him to win. But while Blood God may be unreliable, he has never made empty claims. If he dared send an avatar to fight, he must be confident."

Old Tony was deeply conflicted. If Blood God really could accomplish this, he would not add Thanos’s genes to the Anti-Blood God Armor. Thanos’s genes were rather strange, and Old Tony was worried something might go wrong.

It was not impossible. Ultron was a perfect example. Genes were simply too dangerous.

The problem was that no one could guarantee Blood God would succeed. If Blood God failed, then the only one who could protect Earth would be Tony Stark himself.

Old Tony thought to himself, Better wait a little longer. I can’t make the same mistake again. Besides, Blood God has never disappointed anyone.

On Green Forest Star, with everyone’s efforts, the Deviant Machines were destroyed one after another. Ultron had already switched bodies several times, but each one had been blown apart. His heart was filled with terror. Was he really going to die here? It was not that Ultron had not considered running away, but those Super Heroes had sealed off every route. There was no way he could escape.

After hesitating for a moment, Ultron shouted at Wang Bert in the sky, "Blood God, I surrender."

Ultron’s plan was simple: pretend to surrender, then wait for Thanos to break free and slaughter Blood God and the other Super Heroes.

"Sorry, you’re not human, so you don’t have human rights. Tony, what are you waiting for? Finish this guy already!"

Wang Bert sneered. He was not one of those Super Heroes who followed a no-killing rule. Ultron had killed millions. He had to die.

"Done."

Tony shouted. At that moment, an electromagnetic field suddenly appeared around Ultron’s body. Ultron sensed something was wrong and tried to self-destruct to escape, but his body was disrupted and could not explode.

"Ultron, forget it. You’re a sin Old Tony created. Now, I’ll help him settle this once and for all."

Along with Tony’s voice, the electromagnetic field collapsed into a black hole. Ultron was sucked straight inside. He unwillingly tried to transfer himself into another body, but could not do so at all.

"I’m not willing to accept this!"

Those were Ultron’s final words to the world. As the black hole vanished, Ultron was completely erased.

"Looks like I still had to do it myself."

Tony said smugly, "Just in case, destroy the cores of all the Deviant Machines. That way, Ultron will truly become a thing of the past."

Everyone nodded and swiftly destroyed the Deviant Machines. None of them wanted Ultron to come back to life again.

Wang Bert looked at Tony with contempt and asked, "Tony, you stole this black hole technology from Ivan, didn’t you?"

"I didn’t steal it. I reverse-engineered it. Reverse-engineered, understand? How can a scientist’s work be called stealing?"

Tony defended himself. "Besides, that bastard Ivan reverse-engineered plenty of my technology too. If we’re keeping score, I’m the one who lost out."

Everyone sneered. As if they did not know what kind of person he was.

At that moment, Star-Lord suddenly shouted from below, "Don’t kill Gamora! She’s innocent!"

With the Lokis’ efforts, Supergiant had been dealt with successfully, and Star-Lord regained his freedom. Before he could even celebrate, he saw Black Widow preparing to chop off Gamora’s head and hurriedly shouted.

Although Black Widow heard Star-Lord’s cry, she showed no intention of holding back. Her lava-like right hand swung down hard, severing Gamora’s neck on the spot. The wound was charred black.

"No!" Star-Lord fell to his knees and burst into tears. He had lost Gamora once again.

"That wasn’t your Gamora. Her entire body was black."

Black Widow said coldly, "Star-Lord, you’re letting your emotions cloud your judgment."

Star-Lord did not answer. He knew this Gamora was not that Gamora, but the problem was that this was the only Gamora he had left.

Nebula walked over carrying the head of another Nebula and said, "You’re a dumbass. Don’t pretend to be some devoted lover. It’s disgusting."

Star-Lord looked up at Nebula stupidly. Wasn’t she supposed to comfort him at a time like this?

"Quill, everyone knows what kind of person you are. Don’t try to act like a devoted lover just to pick up girls."

Rocket walked over and said, "Be careful Carol doesn’t come over and blast your dog head apart. She hates men who deceive women the most."

Star-Lord shouted angrily, "I didn’t! I’m genuinely sad!"

"Quill, after Gamora died, you gained at least twenty pounds. That proves you’re not sad at all."

Drax said, "Stop pretending. You’re a dumbass whose eyes light up whenever he sees a woman."

Groot also walked over and said, "I am Groot."

"Why do you know my weight so clearly?"

Star-Lord got up and cursed furiously, "How did I end up knowing you bunch of bastards? I’m not a dumbass! You’re the dumbasses…"

Watching the ‘passionate’ Star-Lord, the Guardians of the Galaxy all nodded. Their comfort had worked.

That was right, they were comforting Star-Lord. This was their unique method of comfort. After all, they were not ordinary people. They were the famous Dumbass Guardians.

"Their battle is over."

Wang Bert looked at Thanos through the crack-covered Space Cage and said, "Thanos, are you ready? If you are, we’ll begin."

Thanos said hatefully, "In one minute, I’ll beat you into nothing."

"Looks like you’re ready. Then let’s begin."

Wang Bert clapped his hands together, and dazzling blood-red light lit up around him. Then, the light transformed into blood-colored runes that constructed a Fair Space around them.

Thanos’s vision blurred, and he suddenly appeared atop a massive arena. Blood God Wang Bert stood across from him.

Then, spectator stands appeared around them. Tony and the other Super Heroes, as well as Sersi and the other Eternals, along with the Lokis, were all transferred inside.

Tony shouted excitedly, "Wow, an arena and spectator stands. Nice, Bert. Do you have popcorn?"

Wang Bert asked with a smile, "If you need it, I can turn you into popcorn. What do you think?"

Tony chuckled. "Better not. Mr. Stark’s naming rights fee is very expensive. You can’t afford it."

It was worth mentioning that Old Tony was not there. Wang Bert had no interest in bringing him in to watch. Old Tony was extremely indignant about this. If I don’t watch, how will I know whether to add Thanos’s genes? After thinking for a moment, Old Tony used the Reality Stone to try entering the Fair Space. To his surprise, the Reality Stone said that he had to sacrifice a Creator God to enter the Fair Space.

"If I had a Creator God, why would I need to watch? I’d have gone straight to war with them long ago."

Old Tony cursed. He was deeply shocked. Blood God’s methods were so advanced that even the Reality Stone could not handle them.

Old Tony thought to himself, This is a good thing. It means he really can handle Thanos. Blood God, I’m counting on you.

Inside the Fair Space, Thanos asked Wang Bert in a deep voice, "Where is this?"

Deep down, Thanos was extremely annoyed. If he had known this would happen, why the hell had he wasted time smashing the cage earlier? "This is the Fair Space. Here, everything is fair."

Wang Bert smiled. "For example, I’m at the God level, and so are you."

Along with Wang Bert’s words, Thanos’s strength was suppressed to the God level by a mysterious force. His expression changed drastically as he shouted in disbelief, "How is this possible? This space can actually suppress my strength? I’m a Creator God!"

"Nothing is impossible in this world. Look, even an annoying guy like Tony Stark has managed to live until now."

Wang Bert spread his hands. The Fair Space had been obtained through a snap of the fingers. Suppressing a Creator God was perfectly normal.

Everyone burst into laughter. Tony gave Wang Bert the middle finger. That bastard was mocking him again. Still, this Fair Space seemed incredibly powerful.

Thinking of something, Tony shouted excitedly, "Bert, suppress Thanos to my level. I’ll deal with him."

"I’ll do it."

The others came to their senses as well and shouted one after another. Thanos’s face darkened slightly. What the hell did these bastards take him for?

"You are not Thanos’s match. A Creator God does not merely represent Creator God-level power. It also represents Creator God-level consciousness and concepts."

Wang Bert shook his head and said, "Take Sersi as an example. When I use her power and when she uses her own power, they are on completely different levels."

Everyone looked at Sersi and could not help nodding. The difference between the two really was like heaven and earth.

Sersi was a little embarrassed. Was it her fault she was this weak? Wang Bert thought of something and grew curious. "Come to think of it, can Captain’s Fifty-Fifty passive skill deal with Thanos?"

"Thanos."

Wang Bert turned to Thanos and said, "Now that we have equal strength, we can have some fun. By the way, aside from suppressing our strength, there are no other restrictions in this battle. Any equipment or treasure can be used."

"To kill you, my fists are enough."

Thanos snorted and threw a punch at Wang Bert, layers upon layers of spatial ripples accompanying it. Wang Bert clenched his fist and met Thanos’s punch with a simple straight punch.

With a boom, shockwaves blasted wildly in every direction. Thanos was forced back, taking three full steps before stopping.

In contrast, Wang Bert did not move at all. He stood straight where he was, looking utterly calm.

"That’s impossible! How can your strength be greater than mine?"

Thanos shouted in disbelief. He possessed Titan Power. Even Hulk had to bow before him in terms of strength.

"Because I believe I’m stronger than you, I am stronger than you."

Wang Bert rolled his neck and said, "Here, I am invincible."

"Invincible? You?"

Thanos snorted. Purple light shone from both his fists, and then he punched through the air. Space surged toward Wang Bert like waves. This was Thanos’s Concept of Power, the Titan Fist.

As a Creator God, Thanos possessed many concepts, and the Concept of Power was his core concept.

Wang Bert pressed both hands downward, and the spatial waves abruptly stopped. Then, he pushed forward with one hand, sending the spatial waves rebounding toward Thanos.

Thanos shouted and shattered space with a punch. At that moment, Wang Bert suddenly appeared before him, his fists raining down densely like a wall.

Anyone else would have taken a defensive stance, but Thanos did not. He roared and met Wang Bert’s attack head-on. The surrounding space shattered under the terrifying force of their fists, turning into a Space Storm that swept outward. Even the sturdy arena was torn open with crack after crack.

Watching the Space Storm rush toward them, the spectators could not help backing away. Fortunately, the Space Storm stopped at the edge of the arena and did not affect them.

Strange said, "The spectator stands and the arena are two separate spaces. No matter how intense the battle on the arena becomes, it cannot affect us."
