Fair Space

Astros asked Wang Bert, "What exactly is this space of yours? Why do I feel so restrained the moment I entered?"

"Because this space is Fair Space."

Wang Bert smiled. "Everything within this space is fair."

Astros asked in astonishment, "Fair Space? What does that mean?"

Wang Bert said, "You’re stronger than me. That’s unfair, so your strength has to be lowered."

As Wang Bert spoke, red conceptual radiance lit up all around them. Immediately afterward, Astros’s strength was suppressed by a mysterious force, forcibly reducing her from an Ancient God to an ordinary god-level being.

Wang Bert smiled. "Now we’re even."

Sensing the change within herself, Astros asked in shock, "How is this possible?"

"Nothing is impossible here."

Wang Bert said calmly, "I, Invincible King Wang, am invincible among those of the same rank. And now that you’re on the same level as me, that means you’re no match for me."

Simply put, he dragged his opponent down to his own level, then defeated them with his extensive combat experience and exquisite fighting techniques.

Astros still could not believe it. She shouted, "Impossible! How did you do this? Not even a Creator God can do something like this."

"Just because a Creator God can’t do it doesn’t mean I can’t."

Wang Bert said. This Fair Space looked simple, but he had put an extraordinary amount of effort into it.

For this Fair Space, Wang Bert had turned Aether into energy patterns and tattooed them onto his body, then snapped his fingers with the Infinity Gauntlet.

That was right, a snap. Only the power of the Six Infinity Stones could create Fair Space.

Unfortunately, Wang Bert was not strong enough. Otherwise, he could even suppress a Creator God. If that happened, he would become the true Invincible King.

Astros raised her head and roared at Wang Bert, "You think suppressing my strength means you can defeat me? I’ve lived for hundreds of millions of years and fought countless battles."

Wang Bert said, "I’ve only lived for a little over twenty years, yet I’m already a Creator God. A dozen Ancient Gods have died by my hand."

Astros’s face darkened slightly. She could not be bothered to waste more words and shouted, "Bald Blood God, die!"

As she spoke, Astros spread her wings, firing countless dense black beams at Wang Bert. Every one of them could turn into a black hole.

Wang Bert smiled faintly and suddenly appeared behind Astros, punching toward her back. The surrounding space instantly turned into shackles, locking Astros firmly in place.

Astros roared and shattered the space with her wings, then turned and met Wang Bert’s fist with one of her own. Space shattered with a crash. Wang Bert did not budge, while Astros was sent flying backward like a meteor.

His strength is actually this great?

Astros was secretly startled. Before she could do anything else, Wang Bert suddenly appeared beside her, his fist gathering boundless Space Power as it smashed toward Astros like an entire world.

Astros’s expression changed. Black Light burst from her body, transforming her into a black hole filled with suction force, one that froze even time and space, swallowing Wang Bert whole.

This was Astros’s Black Hole Concept. No one swallowed by it had ever emerged alive.

Astros had assumed this time would be no different, but mere moments later, Wang Bert tore open the black hole and flew out. Astros returned to her original form and spat out a mouthful of blood.

Wang Bert said, "Your black hole is powerful, but unfortunately, I’m stronger."

"What the hell kind of fairness is this? This is your home ground. You can borrow Space Power here."

Astros cursed furiously. Wang Bert smiled faintly and said, "No, it’s very fair here."

Before Astros could say anything, a dazzling halo appeared above Wang Bert’s head. Its ends connected, and within it was reflected the projection of Fair Space.

"Space Concept, a complete Space Concept."

Astros stared wide-eyed. Wang Bert nodded. "That’s right, a complete Space Concept. I’m not cheating."

"That is cheating."

Astros gritted her teeth and cursed, "Blood God, is something wrong with your brain? You actually gave a complete Space Concept to a clone? Aren’t you afraid Galactus will stomp your main body to death?"

"I’m not afraid, because my main body also has a complete Space Concept, and more than one."

Wang Bert said, "Also, I have the Time Concept, the Fusion Concept, and part of the Devouring Concept. Please be careful in a moment."

"You actually have so many Concepts? Does your family run a Concept mine?"

Astros was dumbfounded. She shouted indignantly, "And you call this fair?"

Wang Bert shrugged. "Why wouldn’t it be? Concepts are my abilities, and I haven’t restricted you from using Concepts. Our conditions are equal."

Astros gritted her teeth. "The conditions are indeed equal, but they were set around your advantages. From the beginning, this Fair Space was unfair."

"Then let’s change the conditions."

Wang Bert thought for a moment and said, "Fair Space, suppress our strength to the level we had at age twenty. When I was twenty, I didn’t have any Concepts. Astros, are you satisfied now?"

"Satisfied my ass! When I was twenty, I was still an egg, okay?"

Astros cursed furiously. Wang Bert spread his hands and smiled. "Now do you see how fair I am?"

Astros froze, then nodded. "You really are quite fair, Blood God. I finally understand why you became a Creator God at such a young age. You’re completely shameless."

"Thanks for the compliment."

Wang Bert smiled. "Astros, are we continuing to fight, or are you going to kneel and accept death?"

"Of course we’re continuing. I haven’t lost yet."

Astros fiercely raked all ten fingers across her body, creating ten bloody wounds out of thin air. Then, the blood gathered together and formed a strange crimson rune in the air.

Seeing this, Wang Bert immediately appeared beside Astros and threw a fist that shattered the void toward her.

Astros had anticipated it. Her left wing blocked Wang Bert’s fist like a shield. The next moment, Astros was sent flying like a kite with a snapped string, her wing covered in cracks as if it might shatter at any moment.

Though injured, Astros’s face was filled with delight. The reason was simple: the crimson rune was complete. It turned into a streak of blood-red light and flew into her body. Her aura, uh, did not change at all.

"Why hasn’t your aura changed? Shouldn’t it have surged dramatically while you shouted that you were now invincible in the world?"

Wang Bert chased after Astros and punched again. The space around Astros suddenly shattered, becoming a Space Storm that swept across her body.

"Because this move isn’t for increasing my strength. Blood God, let me tell you something. Besides the Black Hole Concept, I also possess the Blood Concept."

Astros gave a savage smile, dodged Wang Bert’s fist sideways, and then wrapped both arms around him.

That was right, Astros held Wang Bert tightly. Then Black Light erupted from her entire body, and the black hole energy within her became incomparably violent.

"Damn, self-destruction?"

Wang Bert cursed and hurriedly opened a Space Channel, preparing to flee into the distance.

At that moment, Astros’s two eyeballs flew out, transforming into two black holes that slammed into Wang Bert. They did not cause much damage, but the black hole energy destroyed the Space Channel Wang Bert had just opened.

Before Wang Bert could do anything else, Astros exploded with a thunderous boom. Black Light filled the sky, Doomsday Energy sweeping through everything around it. The entire space shattered, and even the arena turned into nothingness, as if the apocalypse had truly arrived.

A moment later, the Doomsday Energy faded away, and space gradually began repairing itself. Immediately afterward, the Black Light in the sky gathered together and formed Astros.

Blood Concept, infinite resurrection—so long as not all of the blood was annihilated, she could reform and resurrect.

As mentioned before, the Blood Concept was always connected to immortality and resurrection.

"Fair Space, Invincible King Wang, tch. It sounded impressive, but in the end, aren’t you still drinking my bathwater?"

Astros looked utterly pleased with herself. At that moment, time and space reversed, and Wang Bert’s shattered body reappeared in the void. He looked at Astros with an annoyed expression.

Time Concept, immortal body—after death, time would reverse to before death occurred.

Astros’s expression changed. "You can resurrect too?"

"Can’t you?"

Wang Bert said irritably, "I really didn’t expect that I, the mighty Blood God, would nearly fall to the Blood Concept. If word gets out, people will laugh themselves to death."

To be honest, Wang Bert felt rather strange about it, because when he was "young," he had designed a similar move—using resurrection abilities to explode over and over again until the enemy was blown to death.

Unfortunately, he was simply too powerful. No opponent had ever been worth using that move on, so this trump card had never seen the light of day.

He had never expected to see this move used by an enemy today. Fate truly was wondrous.

There were only two portions of the Blood Concept. Wang Bert’s main body and the Dragon Soul Clone each possessed one. Invincible King Wang did not have one; in fact, he did not even possess the power of the Blood River.

"You’re only a clone. Don’t overestimate yourself."

Astros snorted and cursed, "I can resurrect, and you can resurrect. What the hell are we supposed to fight for? Even if we fight until the universe is destroyed, neither of us will die."

"You can’t kill me, but that doesn’t mean I can’t kill you."

Wang Bert said, "My main body possesses the complete Blood Concept. I know very well what weaknesses your Blood Concept has."

Astros’s Blood Concept was incomplete. Since it was incomplete, it naturally had flaws.

"You make it sound real enough."

Astros sneered. "Your Time Concept has an even greater weakness than mine, because your Time Concept is extremely incomplete."

"We’ll find out if we try."

Wang Bert smiled faintly. His body suddenly vanished, and when he reappeared, he had surrounded Astros.

That was right, surrounded her. Nine Wang Berts enclosed Astros in the center. Then, they punched at the same time, gathering all the power of the entire space into their nine fists. Even Astros felt as if she were about to be smashed to pieces.

"If I can’t block it, then I won’t."

Astros decisively initiated self-destruction. The black hole energy in her body became incomparably violent. When the nine fists struck her body, she exploded completely, and Fair Space once again turned into nothingness.

At that moment, Wang Bert appeared in the void. With a wave of his hand, part of the Black Light fell into his palm.

Then, Wang Bert crushed the black hole energy within the Black Light. A mass of blood appeared in his hand—it was Astros’s blood. He smiled faintly and sent the blood into his body, beginning to fuse with it.

A moment later, Astros resurrected, but she was slightly shorter than before. She asked in shock and fury, "Why didn’t you die?"

Wang Bert said, "Because all nine of me were phantoms. The real me was always protected by the Space Concept."

Astros asked, "That’s impossible. If they were phantoms, how could I not have noticed?"

"Because the power on them was real."

Wang Bert threw nine consecutive punches in place. Then, nine Wang Berts appeared around Astros at once and punched toward her simultaneously.

Wang Bert’s fist force was too terrifying. The entire void shattered, and Astros had no way to dodge. She only had two choices now.

Either turn into a black hole and be blown apart, or blow herself up.

The outcome of both choices was the same: death, followed by part of her blood being seized and fused by Wang Bert.

The Blood Concept was indeed powerful, but if all of Astros’s blood was fused by Wang Bert, she would still die. Not only that, she would become Wang Bert’s puppet, subject to his command.

"If that’s the case, I can only use my final move."

Astros sighed. A fist-sized black stone suddenly floated out of her body. Then, the black stone shone with boundless light. The nine Wang Berts touched by that light all decayed and turned into nothingness.

Even the power of space decayed.

Wang Bert was startled and hurriedly traveled through time and space to escape into the distance. Even so, he still felt as if his body were decaying.

"This feeling of decay seems familiar."

Wang Bert’s eyes flickered. He had once possessed a similar treasure—the Decay Poison he had obtained from the Dragon God. The two had very similar properties, except the black stone was even stronger.

"Where did you get that stone?"

Wang Bert asked with shining eyes. He was not surprised that Astros had a treasure. She had lived for so long; how could she possibly not have some valuable possessions?

Among the Ancient Gods throughout the universe, which one did not have their own treasures?

"I got it from a black hole. According to my estimate, they should have been left behind by the previous universe."

Astros said, "I collected for countless years before finding even one piece. I treasured it dearly, yet today I have to waste it on you."

"Waste it? Hey, that sounds like a personal attack."

Wang Bert said.

"So what? Blood God, your Time Concept is indeed powerful, but even time can decay."

Astros aimed the stone at Wang Bert and said, "As long as I kill you a hundred times, you’ll truly die."

"Provided I don’t use a treasure."

Wang Bert took out a shield and held it before him. "Godly Shield possesses the Defense Concept. With its defensive power, it can resist the Stone of Decay for a while.

"During that time, I have plenty of ways to kill you and take the Stone of Decay."

Astros gritted her teeth. "You have Concept equipment too?"

"Not much. Just over a dozen."

Wang Bert smiled. "Honestly, I hate competing with people in treasures the most, because there’s not even a shred of suspense."
