Fear, Seer
"Don’t worry, I know."
Hearing Wade’s words, Dopinder nodded first, then complained, "Why is getting married so hard? Not only do I have to kill her cousin, I also have to come to the Middle East to earn money for the wedding. Sigh."
"Did we just hear about a murder case?"
Spider-Man asked Electro in astonishment. Electro nodded and said, "And a fraud case."
Wade said lewdly, "It’s all worth it. Once you marry her, you can do hehehe with her every day."
"I can do that now."
Dopinder tossed Wade into the trunk and said, "Mr. Wade, change your position a little. Don’t let your blood spill all over the trunk."
"What does it matter? It was stained red by my blood ages ago."
Wade said indifferently, "Come to think of it, besides the name Wade, I seem to have some especially awesome title. I just can’t remember it no matter how hard I think."
"If you can’t even remember it, how awesome could it be?"
As he spoke, Dopinder shut the trunk. Wade shrugged, lay down, and began playing dead.
A moment later, amid noisy indian music, the taxi shot off like an arrow loosed from a bow and quickly vanished from sight.
"They’re finally gone."
Everyone present let out a collective sigh of relief. That guy’s very existence was practically a test of their patience.
Then the battle resumed. Electro and Spider-Man teamed up against Harry, the Hell Spider King. The three fought back and forth in a fierce, unending battle, yet none of them could gain the upper hand.
Just then, a Blood Clan member in the rear shouted excitedly, "It’s ready."
The next moment, everyone in the European Blood Clan camp transformed into Black Light and vanished. The Teleportation Magic Talisman had been activated.
Electro cursed unwillingly, "Damn it, they got away again."
The mercenaries cursed as well. "Exactly! I thought we’d finish them off today."
"It’s fine. There’ll be another chance."
Spider-Man was in a good mood. He walked over to Electro and said gratefully, "Max, thank you for holding back all this time."
Electro snorted. "When did I hold back?"
"You haven’t used the Electromagnetic Railgun even once."
Spider-Man said, "I know you were worried about me, Max. My friend, thank you so much."
"First, I’m not your friend. Second, don’t flatter yourself. It’s disgusting."
Electro snorted again and turned to leave. The reason he had not used the Electromagnetic Railgun was simple: Harry could not die yet.
They still needed these people to find Dracula.
"You really are soft-hearted beneath that tough mouth."
Spider-Man chuckled. Thinking of something, his expression turned resolute as he muttered, "Harry, I’ll definitely bring you back to the right path."
Having returned to human form, Harry grabbed a Blood Clan member by the collar and demanded angrily, "When exactly are you going to find Dracula? We’ve searched dozens of places from Europe to the Middle East, yet we haven’t even seen a single hair of Dracula’s."
"If Dracula were that easy to find, someone would have found him long ago."
The Blood Clan member smiled bitterly. "Mr. Osborn, instead of wasting time getting angry, we should set off immediately. The next location is the Egyptian Desert. Dracula is very likely there."
Harry released the Blood Clan member’s collar and cursed irritably, "A desert? Are you out of your mind? You Blood Clan fear sunlight the most. Why would Dracula hide in a desert?"
"What’s strange about that? Dracula isn’t afraid of sunlight."
A Blood Clan member beside him said, "Vampires who aren’t afraid of sunlight all like staying in places with plenty of sunlight. Take the Blood God, for example. He loves watching bikini beauties on the beach."
Harry was speechless. Had this guy misunderstood something? The keyword was not beach, it was bikini beauties, okay? "Let’s go. I hope we find Dracula this time. We don’t have much time left."
Harry said hatefully. Everyone nodded and set off once more.
"If the Blood God isn’t the one who killed my father, then what the hell have I been doing all this time?"
Confusion flashed through Harry’s eyes, but it was soon replaced by hatred and bloodlust. At this point, there was no turning back. He could only keep walking down this dark path.
First kill the Blood God, then kill Nick Fury. In short, kill, kill, kill!
"S.W.O.R.D. successfully destroyed a Hydra hideout and captured a large number of Hydra members. According to S.W.O.R.D. agents, they found the hideout because Hydra had made online posts to drive a wedge between Inhumans and humans, allowing them to trace the source back to their door."
On television, a host was reporting, "Here, we solemnly remind all internet users not to be exploited by lawbreakers…"
"So Hydra was behind it? Even better. Hydra’s reputation is already rotten. If anyone posts insults about Inhumans in the future, just call them Hydra."
Wang Bert said with a smile. Skye asked suspiciously, "Mr. Wang, were the people arrested really Hydra?"
Wang Bert said irritably, "Of course they were. Would the great Blood God fabricate something like that?"
"Haven’t you fabricated enough already?"
Skye looked at him disdainfully. "You tell your disciples every day that you’re off handling national affairs, but every time, you’re really going out to pick up girls."
"How is that fake? Picking up girls is national business. The moment those presidents hear I’m picking up girls, they immediately beam with joy."
"Those presidents must have been kicked in the head by donkeys."
Skye mocked. Just then, a strange energy sealed off the surrounding area. Immediately afterward, the front door was slammed open with a bang, and six men and women in unusual uniforms strode inside.
Of the six, the leader was a highly capable-looking woman. She asked Wang Bert coldly, "Are you the Blood God? Where is Black Bolt?"
Wang Bert asked Skye, "Skye, tell me, should I kill them directly, or let them finish repairing the door before I kill them?"
"Hand them over to S.W.O.R.D. instead."
Skye smiled bitterly, looking at the six as if they were idiots. They had actually come straight to the Blood God’s door demanding someone. Had they really never been kicked in the head by donkeys? "Arrogant human, we are not those weak Inhumans from Earth."
Oran sneered. "The Inhumans on Earth were all eliminated. The Inhumans of Attilan are the true Inhumans."
Wang Bert thought for a moment and said, "Forget it. Let them repair the door first. Elektra."
"Human!"
Oran was enraged. Just as she was about to say something, Black Light flashed, and all six of them vanished.
Skye asked in astonishment, "Mr. Wang, who is Elektra?"
"My subordinate. Trash like that isn’t worth me making a move personally."
Wang Bert said, "I’m going upstairs to read. When they come out, have them repair the door. Once they’re done, notify S.W.O.R.D. to take them away."
With that, Wang Bert turned and headed upstairs. Skye mocked, "Reading? You mean sleeping, right? Good thing Hela and Lina haven’t been led astray by you."
Skye did not mention Mindy, because Mindy had already been led astray by Wang Bert. The girl thought about skipping class every day and could never settle down.
Skye shook her head and called Coulson, asking him to come pick them up.
About ten minutes later, Black Light flashed, and Oran’s group of six appeared again. Though there was no visible difference in their appearance, their mental states had completely changed.
Previously, the six had been high-spirited, as though aristocrats had descended upon some remote backwater. Now, they trembled nonstop, their faces full of terror, like flowers ravaged until they had withered.
"We’ll repair the door right away. Right away."
Before Skye could say anything, Oran spoke in a trembling voice. Then all six turned and ran toward the entrance, as though moving too slowly would kill them.
"Oh no, they’re escaping."
Skye was startled and was about to give chase when she saw Oran’s group obediently standing at the entrance repairing the door. Not one of them ran away.
"Just who is this Elektra? She actually scared six Inhumans who looked down their noses at everyone into this state?"
Skye was dumbfounded. At that moment, Coulson and the others arrived. The moment they saw the six, they immediately drew their guns and aimed at them.
"Defense Shield."
Oran immediately gave the order. A Defense Shield appeared at once, protecting them within it.
Coulson and the others tensed up, but to their surprise, after activating the Defense Shield, the six did not prepare to fight. Instead, they continued repairing the door—they had activated the shield not to block enemies, but to avoid being disturbed.
They had to repair the door as quickly as possible, or that demon would not let them go.
At the thought of that demon, Oran and the others trembled uncontrollably. How could Earth have such a terrifying creature? They wanted to go back to the moon.
Coulson entered through another door and asked in surprise, "Skye, what’s going on? Didn’t you say they’d all been captured? And why are they constantly repairing the door? Did these Inhumans come to Earth to become carpenters?"
"Mr. Wang told them to repair the door."
Skye said, "They seem to have been scared out of their wits."
Coulson looked at the constantly busy Oran and the others, then nodded. "That much is obvious. Skye, how exactly did Mr. Wang scare them?"
"I don’t know either."
Skye shook her head and did not mention Elektra. That was Ms. Carter’s order—no information related to Wang Bert was to be leaked.
Skye could understand the order. After all, the Blood God was important to Earth, even if he was a lazy, pleasure-seeking nouveau riche.
A few minutes later, Oran and the others barely managed to repair the door. Oran breathed a huge sigh of relief and had someone deactivate the Defense Shield. Then she said toward the empty air, trembling with fear, "We’ve repaired the door. Next, we’ll leave with them."
There was no response from the surroundings. Skye said, "Coulson, take them away. Be careful. The Inhumans may come to rescue them."
Hearing this, Oran reacted strongly. She shouted, "We won’t run away! If anyone comes to rescue us, we’ll help you fight them. No matter what, we have to spend a year in your prison. Not a day less."
The others shouted as well, "That’s right! We must spend a year in prison. Not a day less."
Coulson and the others looked at each other. They had truly never seen prisoners this obedient before.
Skye secretly made up her mind that no matter what, she could never provoke Elektra. That woman was too terrifying. Six powerful warriors had been scared so badly that their personalities were practically collapsing.
"All right, then. Come back to S.W.O.R.D. with us."
Coulson did not trust Oran, but he trusted Wang Bert. He nodded and led Oran’s group out of the villa.
Soon, Coulson and the others returned beside the Quinjet. Just then, light flashed around them, and a group of Inhumans appeared before them.
"Ms. Oran, hurry and escape to our side."
As Inhuman Lincoln fired electricity at Coulson’s group, he shouted loudly. But to his shock, Oran and the others not only did not move, they even deployed a Defense Shield to block the attack for Coulson’s group.
Oran shouted, "Leave quickly! Don’t stop us from going to prison. We have to go to prison!"
The Inhumans were full of question marks. Was that something a normal person could say?
"Leave."
Seeing this, Gordon, who had only recently recovered from serious injuries, immediately took everyone away. They were too close to the Blood God. There could not be even the slightest delay.
"They came in a hurry and left in a hurry."
Coulson shook his head. He signaled the others to keep watch over Oran’s group, then entered the Quinjet and impatiently asked Fitz, "Have you started tracking them?"
"Yes. The Quantum Tracker made by Mr. Stark is very useful."
Fitz said admiringly, "Mr. Stark truly lives up to his reputation."
"When it comes to intelligence, Mr. Stark is still quite trustworthy."
Coulson smiled. Soon, a message appeared on the screen: "Canada."
"I didn’t expect the Inhumans to be our neighbors."
Coulson immediately called Tony. Tony said, "I’ll send Drone Armor over to investigate."
Coulson nodded and brought Oran’s group back to S.W.O.R.D. headquarters. Not long afterward, Tony called back and said irritably, "They aren’t there. That was just a transfer point. That No-Eyed Person carried out a second teleportation."
Coulson frowned. "A second teleportation? If that’s the case, we’ll need to do something to them before we can find their nest."
"Not necessarily. My Quantum Interferometer is almost finished. Once it’s ready, they won’t be able to escape even if they want to."
Tony snorted. "I heard you captured a few moon Inhumans?"
"Mr. Wang captured them, and scared them so badly that they desperately wanted to go to prison."
Coulson said.
Tony was speechless. "Desperately wanting to go to prison? I’ve never heard that expression before."
"It’s my first time hearing it too. Let me tell you something you definitely won’t believe."
Coulson said with a smile, "I threatened that if they didn’t tell me the information, I wouldn’t let them go to prison. As a result, they told me everything."
"What exactly did Bert do to them?"
Tony shuddered. He asked, "Do they know where the Inhumans are?"
"Unfortunately, they don’t."
Coulson shook his head. "They have been to the Inhumans’ settlement before, but they do not know its exact location. According to them, it’s a small mountain village isolated from the world."
"Isolated from the world? That’s as laughable as America loving peace."
Tony sneered. "Send me a copy of the intelligence later. I’m going back to work on the Quantum Interferometer."
"Okay."
Coulson nodded. He was also curious about what Wang Bert had done to those six people. …
At Afterlife, Gordon said, "Jiaying, Raina’s prophecy was right. They really can track the location of my teleportation. Good thing I took a detour."
"You’ve worked hard. Your injuries have only just healed, so go back and rest first."
Jiaying said. Gordon nodded and left with the others.
Then Jiaying called Raina over and said happily, "It seems you truly are a seer."
Raina, whose face and head were covered in sharp spikes, said, "I spent my whole life searching for the meaning of my existence. Now, I’ve found it."
Jiaying smiled. "I’m happy you found it. A few days ago, you were in so much pain that you wanted to kill yourself."
"Who wouldn’t be in pain after turning into this?"
Raina smiled and said, "But it was worth it. I will use this ability given to me by heaven to assist the king of the Inhumans and ensure the Inhumans continue to exist."
