Fury Elder

"The Ravagers are here too? They actually have such a sense of justice?"

Crystal was somewhat surprised. At that moment, a group of Ravagers descended from the Ravager Mothership. One short-haired, burly man looked around and shouted anxiously, "Asgardians! Are there any Asgardians here?"

"Thor?"

Crystal was even more surprised. These Ravagers were all familiar faces.

The bald old Black man wearing an eyepatch, who looked like he was obviously up to no good—the former S.H.I.E.L.D. director, Nick Fury.

The valiant, tall female adjutant—the former S.H.I.E.L.D. captain, Maria Hill.

The handsome long-haired man with a metal left arm—the Winter Soldier, Bucky.

The wild, violent woman holding a bottle of alcohol—disciple of the Blood God and former Super Hero, Jessica Jones.

Besides them, there was also a huge Black man: Charlie-27, an elder of the Ravagers Alliance.

As for the short-haired burly man yelling at the top of his lungs, he was naturally Thor. Sif stood beside him with a helpless expression.

"There are no Asgardians, but there is one Inhuman from the Moon."

Crystal walked over and smiled. "Everyone, it’s been a long time."

"You’re that sidekick who followed Bert around?"

The moment Thor saw Crystal, he asked excitedly, "Have any Asgardians come here?"

Crystal shook her head. "No. Asgard has already informed us that they won’t be joining this alliance."

Thor’s face went blank, and he nearly lost his footing. "They won’t be joining this alliance? Has Asgard already been destroyed by Hela?"

Jessica took a gulp of alcohol and cursed disdainfully, "Idiot. If Asgard could send word, that means they’re still alive."

Thor froze, then rejoiced. "So they’re all right?"

"Not necessarily. Not being destroyed doesn’t mean they weren’t badly hit."

Jessica said, "If they were badly damaged and couldn’t send an army, it would be perfectly reasonable for them not to join this alliance."

"No way?"

Thor grew anxious again. Sif shot Jessica a fierce glare, then took Thor’s hand and said, "Thor, don’t panic. If I remember correctly, President Crystal can open portals. We can return to Asgard right away."

"Right, right."

Thor immediately turned to Crystal. "Crystal, can you help me open a portal to Asgard?"

"No problem."

Crystal smiled and waved her hand. A cluster of golden sparks appeared and grew larger and larger.

"Thank you."

Thor rushed in impatiently. With a bang, he rebounded as if he had slammed into a wall, staggering backward and nearly falling to the ground.

"Thor!"

Sif hurriedly supported Thor and asked in astonishment, "President Crystal, what happened?"

"Asgard used the Bifrost to block the portal."

Crystal explained. At that moment, Heimdall’s deep voice came from within the portal. "Thor, Sif, I’m glad you’re both alive."

Heimdall’s deep voice made Thor and Sif’s hearts sink. Thor asked with fear in his voice, "Heimdall, how is Asgard?"

"Asgard…"

Heimdall’s voice grew even deeper, as if he could not bear to continue. Thor and Sif’s hearts immediately clenched.

Just then, Heimdall suddenly said quickly, "Asgard is completely fine. Without someone causing trouble, it has developed even better than it did a few months ago."

"Huh?"

Thor and Sif were dumbfounded. Seeing their blank expressions, a burst of laughter came from the portal. Then the Warriors Three stepped out of it.

Fandral slapped Thor on the shoulder and laughed loudly. "Thor, we took a picture of that expression you just made. We’ll show everyone next time we drink."

"What’s going on?"

Thor could not help asking, "Fandral, weren’t you killed? And why is Asgard all right? Back then, we couldn’t stop Hela at all."

"Because the Blood God arrived in time. As for Fandral and the others, they weren’t dead then. They had merely been knocked unconscious."

Heimdall explained, "We’ve been looking for you all this time, but we could never find you."

"Really? That’s wonderful. I worried for a whole three months. Thank goodness nothing happened."

Thor let out a huge sigh of relief. He did not notice that the Warriors Three looked a little awkward—they were not used to lying to one of their own.

Sif noticed it. She looked at Heimdall in the portal, silently asking what was going on.

Heimdall shook his head and transmitted his voice to her. "I’ll explain everything in detail after you return to Asgard. By the way, little sister, have you taken care of that idiot Thor yet?"

That was right, Heimdall and Sif were siblings. As for the issue of their skin colors… well, just pretend it did not exist.

"No."

Sif replied irritably. Taken care of him, my ass. Thor completely treated her like one of the guys.

Speaking of which, Sif really had it rough. She had liked Thor since childhood, but Thor said he did not like weak women. For his sake, Sif trained hard in martial arts until she became as tough and fierce as a man.

After that, Thor and Sif became close. The problem was that it was the closeness of brothers, not lovers. In other words, she had successfully turned herself into Thor’s brother and comrade-in-arms.

What was even more ridiculous was that Thor then fell for the fragile astronomer Jane. Sif had nearly been so furious that she chopped that cheating pair to death.

"You still couldn’t handle him under these circumstances? These three months were Thor’s most vulnerable three months."

Heimdall transmitted angrily, disappointed that she had failed to live up to expectations. "Looks like you can only use force."

Sif glared at Heimdall. "Is that something an older brother should say?"

Heimdall sighed. "I’m just worried you won’t be able to get married."

At that moment, Thor came back to his senses from his wild joy. He glared at Heimdall and demanded, "Everything was fine, so why did you mess with me earlier? Do you know I was scared half to death?"

Heimdall coughed and said to Crystal, "President Crystal, please tell Queen Skye that Asgard has decided to join this alliance. Our army will arrive shortly, led by acting King Thor."

Crystal replied, "I’ll make a note of it. On behalf of Queen Skye, I welcome your participation."

"Good. Thor, I’m going to assemble the army. Don’t disgrace Asgard."

Heimdall said, "Also, listen to Sif’s advice more. You’re a king now, not a general."

"Got it. Don’t worry, I definitely won’t disgrace Asgard. I’ll make Hela pay."

Thor said through gritted teeth. Heimdall nodded and used the power of the Bifrost to close the portal.

Only after the portal closed did Thor remember that he had wanted to settle the score with Heimdall. He immediately became furious. That guy was too sly.

Crystal shook her head and asked Nick Fury, "Why are you representing the Ravagers Alliance in this expedition?"

Nick Fury looked a little pleased with himself. He coughed, signaling Hill to speak for him.

Hill pointed at Nick Fury and smiled. "Allow me to introduce him. This is the Ravagers Alliance’s Grand Elder, honorary Asgardian Nick Fury."

Crystal was somewhat surprised. "You became a Grand Elder? So quickly?"

"Not quickly. I’ve been a Ravager for several years already."

Nick Fury put on an affectation of sentimentality. "I’ve finally achieved something. I haven’t let down the Blood God’s investment."

Crystal asked curiously, "How did you do it? The Grand Elders of the Ravagers Alliance aren’t easy to deal with."

Just as Nick Fury was about to boast, Jessica said from the side, "Of course, he used his innate ability: Super Embezzlement."

"Innate ability?"

Nick Fury stamped his feet in anger. "Who would have an innate ability like that? You make it sound like I was born to embezzle."

Everyone could not help laughing. Nick Fury was the biggest embezzler on all of Earth.

Crystal became even more curious. "How exactly did it happen? Can you really embezzle your way into becoming a Grand Elder?"

"It went like this."

Hill smiled. "Our Director Fury was deeply trusted by the Grand Elder and took control of the Ravagers Alliance’s logistics. Over the past few years, he used his innate ability, Embezzlement, to steal all the Ravagers Alliance’s assets. Then he framed the Grand Elder, claiming that the Grand Elder had stolen the money.

"The Ravagers risked their lives for money. The moment they heard this, a rebellion broke out. They besieged the Grand Elder, who fused with her wife to become the god-level powerhouse Starhawk in order to defeat the rebels.

"Starhawk was very powerful. Even Jessica and Bucky were no match for her. Fortunately, Thor was there at the time. In the end, Thor defeated Starhawk, killing her on the spot. Director Fury took the opportunity to win people over with money, then became the Grand Elder with Charlie’s help."

Crystal said admiringly, "I see. Director Fury—no, Elder Fury—you’re amazing."

"Is this girl mocking me?"

Nick Fury was a little suspicious, though outwardly he said, "Thor was the one who came through. Without him, we couldn’t have taken down Starhawk. By the way, has the Blood God arrived?"

Crystal shook her head. "This time, the Blood God doesn’t plan to come."

"What? He’s not coming?"

Nick Fury was stunned. He hurriedly asked, "How can he not come? If he doesn’t, who will be the alliance leader?"

Crystal smiled. "Alliance leader? With the Skrull Empire and Shi’ar Empire here, how could anyone else become the alliance leader?"

"The Skrull Empire and Shi’ar Empire won’t allow the other to become the alliance leader. That position can only be filled by someone else."

Nick Fury shook his head. "In the universe, only the Blood God can keep every planet in line. If he doesn’t come, this alliance is doomed. Even if it barely forms, it’ll become a loose mess.

"Besides, if the Blood God doesn’t come, who will deal with Hela, the Goddess of Death?"

Hearing this, Thor immediately walked over and said as if there were no one else for the job, "Of course I’ll deal with Hela."

Nick Fury sneered. "Thor, if I remember correctly, didn’t Hela cut off your hair?"

Thor’s face darkened. "Things are different now. Over these three months, my strength has increased several times over. More importantly, Stormbreaker has been completed. Heimdall will have someone deliver it to me. With Stormbreaker, I can definitely defeat Hela."

Nick Fury replied perfunctorily, "Let’s hope so."

Thor snapped, "You don’t believe in my strength?"

Nick Fury could not even be bothered to answer. Jessica cursed from the side, "Isn’t that obvious? Thor, what are you waiting for? Hurry up and beat up this old bastard. Don’t make me look down on you."

Thor was so enraged by Jessica’s scolding that he was practically fuming. He glared at her and said, "I’ll prove everything with facts."

Jessica said unhappily, "You’re much worse than you were three months ago. Three months ago, if I told you to fight someone, you fought them."

"That’s called growth."

Sif snorted. Back then, she and Thor had been badly set up by Jessica. This woman was not only violent, but also black-hearted.

Nick Fury ignored the drunk Jessica and turned to Crystal. "Do you have a communicator? I want to contact the Blood God. Without him, there’s no chance of winning this war."

"It’s useless even if you contact him. The Blood God won’t come."

Crystal said, "But don’t worry. Other Super Heroes will come, including Black Bolt, Dr. Strange, and Captain Marvel."

Nick Fury breathed a sigh of relief. "Carol is coming? Then there’s still some hope."

Thor became even more displeased when he heard that. He swore that he would make these people see him in a new light. He, Thor, was the strongest—well, except for the Blood God.

In the royal palace of the Inhuman Kingdom.

Duke Brie, the special commander dispatched by the Skrull Empire, demanded grimly of Skye, Queen of the Inhumans, "Queen Skye, the Empress wants to know the exact circumstances of the Third Prince’s death. His Highness was the Empress’s favorite son."

"No problem. I’ll tell you everything in detail."

Skye sighed and said, "Sigh, the Third Prince even invited me to visit the Skrull Empire before. Who would have thought that in the blink of an eye, we would be separated by life and death?"

Skye was both happy and depressed about this. Happy because she had tricked the Third Prince to death; depressed because her curse of bringing misfortune to husbands was getting stronger and stronger.

At this rate, when would she ever get married? Duke Brie was somewhat astonished. Skye actually had feelings for the Third Prince? That did not seem likely. The Skrull Empire and the Inhuman Kingdom had quite a few conflicts.

Duke Brie tapped his wristband to activate its recording function and said, "Queen Skye, you don’t mind if I record this, do you?"

"I don’t mind."

Skye shook her head and recounted everything in detail. Duke Brie’s eyes flickered. Queen Skye had actually fallen for the Third Prince?

Could there be some conspiracy? The Third Prince was indeed handsome in the eyes of us Skrulls, but in human eyes, he was probably about the same as an orc.

Duke Brie turned off the recording function as he thought. Then his tone softened. "Thank you, Queen Skye. By the way, has your master, the Blood God, arrived? I would like to pay him a visit."

Skye sighed. "Due to certain circumstances, my master won’t be joining this alliance."

"The Blood God isn’t coming?"

Duke Brie was stunned. This was completely beyond his expectations. After thinking for a moment, he said, "Queen Skye, if the Blood God doesn’t come, the alliance will become extremely troublesome."

"I know, but my master really can’t come."

Skye said helplessly. Heaven knew what was going on with her master. He spent every day chasing women, yet in the blink of an eye, he had become a Creator God.

Is being a Creator God really that casual? Also, where exactly did Master buy his cheat? Is there another one like it?

"Other than the Blood God, no one is qualified to be the alliance leader."

Duke Brie said, "If nothing unexpected happens, the alliance will ultimately become an elder council, with several elders jointly calling the shots. It may be less efficient, but it’s better than complete chaos."

"That is probably how it will be."

Skye nodded in agreement. "Your Skrull Empire and the Shi’ar Empire will definitely become elders. Our Kree Empire has suffered severe losses and is in complete disarray, so we probably have no hope."

"Not necessarily."

Duke Brie said, "As long as Queen Skye is willing to marry into our Skrull Empire, we will help you become an elder. Not only that, we will do everything in our power to help you preserve the Inhuman Kingdom and prevent it from being destroyed by the insect race."
