Gravity Warrior VS Magnetic Field Warrior

Through the Rising Tide, Skye easily found the place where her father, Carl, was being held. She made no plans and simply came straight over to kill her way through.

Whitehall was scum, but he and her master, Zhan Liu, had both said similar things: times had changed.

Skye had resisted Zhan Liu’s words before because she thought the matter of the spatial gate was a misunderstanding. She still held out hope for the future, hoping that one day she could clear her name and continue walking beneath the sun.

But when she learned that S.H.I.E.L.D. had been watching her since she was still an infant, that her mother had died horribly, her father had been captured, and her miserable childhood was all thanks to S.H.I.E.L.D., she completely abandoned her fantasies.

Since she had already decided to become a villain, she could naturally act a little more recklessly.

Hard work did not necessarily lead to success, but falling into depravity was definitely enjoyable.

Skye was currently enjoying the pleasure of slaughtering her way through everything with brute force.

S.H.I.E.L.D.’s prisons had always been among the safest in the world, and the people held there were all heinous criminals. But times had changed, and the defenses here had now become extremely fragile.

The guards sounded the alarm when they saw someone flying toward them from afar, but it was useless. Skye arrived in the blink of an eye. With a wave of her hand, the walls of the entire prison twisted and deformed, squeezed into a huge bun. The guards caught inside were turned into the filling.

Skye stepped into the prison, found a building at random, blasted through the wall, and drilled inside.

She swept her gaze around and saw that the cells here were all transparent cages, leaving the criminals with no privacy whatsoever. The cages were spaced far apart, and everyone had a cell to themselves, out of fear that they might cooperate and escape. Every prisoner wore a bomb collar around their neck, which could be located and remotely detonated at any time.

The guards around them swarmed toward this direction, and a hail of bullets came flying over. The cells were all made of bulletproof glass anyway, so they did not have to worry about accidentally injuring anyone.

For a moment, Skye could not find where Carl was being held, so she withstood the various attacks and shouted, "Where is Carl? Who is Carl?"

A group of villains immediately raised their arms and shouted, "I’m Carl! Come help me open my cage!"

Only a faint cry came from a corner: "Daisy! It’s Daisy! I’m here!"

As a Magnetic Field Warrior, Skye had exceptionally sharp hearing and easily picked out that unusual voice from among the crowd. Raina had told her that her name should originally have been Daisy Johnson. So while attacking the guards, she quickly flew toward the voice. Sure enough, she saw a white man covered in wounds, lying inside a transparent cage. Judging by his appearance, he was exactly like the father she had seen in the files.

Skye quickly wiped out all the guards, then hurried forward, tore the cage open, and lifted her father into her arms.

Carl wept tears of joy as he stroked his daughter’s cheek with trembling hands. "Daisy, I’ve finally met you. Daisy, I’ve missed you so much…"

Skye’s eyes also grew moist. The pain and grievances she had suffered over the years surged up from the depths of her heart, and she wanted nothing more than to throw herself into her father’s arms and cry her heart out. But she also saw the injuries covering her father and asked in anguish, "Did they torture you?"

"They wanted to find you. I didn’t tell them. I didn’t say anything…" Carl smiled in relief.

Murderous intent surged in Skye’s heart, but she rationally suppressed her emotions. With one arm around her father, she flew outside. The prisoners around them began to make a commotion, begging and cursing, all wanting Skye to release them as well.

But these small fry could not even break through their cages. Releasing them would not help in the slightest, so Skye ignored their cries and left the cellblock with her head held high.

But that little bit of time was already enough for the guards to form a perimeter. Several Magnetic Field Warriors wearing Strong Magnetic Armor stood guard at the breach. The moment they saw Skye emerge, they attacked without a word.

One warrior flashed in front of Daisy and brought down a heavy palm strike, but Daisy only glanced at him. Her gravity field instantly arrived through telekinesis and enveloped him.

The man felt the Protective Astral Energy around his body shatter with a boom. Then he discovered that the Strong Magnetic Armor he wore had suddenly become a cage imprisoning him—and that cage was shrinking inward.

As the armor deformed, the magnetic-field amplification ability within it disappeared as well. In an instant, he fell from the Twenty Heavens back to the First Heaven. He immediately dropped from the sky like a lump of scrap metal. But before he could hit the ground and die, the gravity field around him erupted, compressing him and his armor into a ball.

When the other Magnetic Field Warriors saw this, they were shocked and hurried over to gang up on her. But in the eyes of experts, the slightest difference meant a world of difference. With one arm around her father, Skye simply flew forward. Without moving her shoulders or waving her hands, she merely glanced at them a few times and turned them all into compressed balls.

After dealing with the several Magnetic Field Warriors, the firearms and other conventional weapons were completely unable to break through the gravity field around her. The way ahead had become completely clear. Skye was about to leave with her father when another Magnetic Field Warrior suddenly approached from the distance, accompanied by the sound of thunder.

This man’s speed was incredibly fast. It was obvious at a glance that he was no ordinary warrior of the Twenty Heavens. Skye was startled and immediately attacked in his direction. But this man’s speed had already reached nearly one hundred Mach. He arrived in front of Skye in an instant and crashed head-on into the gravity field surrounding her.

Amid a deafening boom, Skye was sent flying. Wherever she passed, the gravity field swept in all the people and buildings, forming a spherical protective barrier around Skye and Carl and enclosing them completely.

The newcomer was Grant Ward. He had been waiting at S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters all along. When the prison came under attack, he immediately rushed over at high speed. Sure enough, he blocked the two at the entrance just as Skye killed the other Magnetic Field Warriors and was about to retreat.

He hovered high in the air, looking at the enormous trench that Skye’s gravity field had torn through the ground. A perfectly good prison had been split in two down the middle. The lucky prisoners had escaped from their cells, while the unlucky ones had been swept into the gravity field and become part of the protective barrier around Skye.

Although Skye had been sent flying, she was herself a powerful warrior of the Magnetic Field Rotation’s Nine Heavens and possessed an extremely strong physique. Moreover, Ward had deliberately held back, so she was not affected in the slightest. Carl, however, was an ordinary man. After being tossed around in a dizzying spin, he became so nauseated that he vomited violently inside the gravity-field barrier.
