Harvest, Preparing to Depart

The celebration was ultimately held on Xandar. Nova Prime announced that Xandar would celebrate for an entire month.

Upon receiving the news, lifeforms from across the universe flocked over to attend. Tony was thrilled and swore he would make this the greatest party in the universe, the kind that would go down in history.

He wanted the entire universe to know that he, Tony Stark, was the Party Little Prince.

Several days later, Duke Brie of the Skrull Empire and Grand Duchess Sarah of the Shi’ar Empire arrived on Xandar at the same time. Afterward, they went together to visit Skye.

After some brief pleasantries, Duke Brie asked, "Queen Skye, how do you intend to deal with Hela, the culprit behind all this?"

"My master has turned her into a mortal. She’s selling stinky tofu on Earth now. Though she has a bad temper and terrible attitude, business is actually pretty good, because Super Heroes go there every day to buy it."

Skye said, "Everyone wants to see Hela make a fool of herself."

"Just turned into a mortal?"

Grand Duchess Sarah was deeply dissatisfied. "Queen Skye, she caused the deaths of at least a hundred million people. The beings of the universe will not be satisfied with such a punishment."

"This was my Master’s decision. Listen carefully: a decision, not a discussion."

Skye said coldly, "He was not asking for your opinions."

"Blood God’s decision!"

Duke Brie and Grand Duchess Sarah’s expressions changed at once. Blood God was a Creator God capable of effortlessly destroying an empire.

Duke Brie and Grand Duchess Sarah exchanged a glance, then said together, "Since it is Blood God’s decision, we have no objections."

Skye said lightly, "It’s best that you don’t. My Master has fused with Galactus, and he’s been rather hungry lately."

"Fused with Galactus, and he’s hungry?"

Duke Brie and Grand Duchess Sarah looked rather grim. This was clearly a threat. Duke Brie came to his senses and asked in shock, "Blood God fused with Galactus? Does that mean he is now a double Creator God?"

Grand Duchess Sarah was equally stunned. They could not withstand even one Blood God, let alone two.

"That’s right. He is now the strongest Creator God."

Skye smiled. "Oh, and my Master wishes to turn the Insect Extermination Alliance into the Cosmic Population Control Association. What do you think?"

After a pause, Skye added, "Universe Balance must be restored. Otherwise, there will be more Thanos and Helas."

"The Cosmic Population Control Association? That could work."

Duke Brie and Grand Duchess Sarah’s eyes lit up, and they both nodded. The Cosmic Population Control Association could help them control the universe, and it contained enormous benefits.

"Good. Let’s discuss the specific regulations."

Skye was very satisfied. "First, the association must have law enforcement authority. Otherwise, it will serve no purpose whatsoever."

"Not only must it have law enforcement authority, it must also have its own standing army."

Duke Brie nodded. "In addition, to ensure a smooth transition for the alliance, I suggest that the positions of us Five Great Elders remain unchanged."

"Agreed."

Skye and Grand Duchess Sarah both nodded. Then, they summoned the other two elders and carefully discussed the regulations.

The discussion lasted an entire day. Though the five were somewhat exhausted, they were all excited. The Cosmic Population Control Association had a vast future ahead of it and could bring them tremendous benefits.

Furthermore, the Cosmic Population Control Association would become the predecessor of the Universe Alliance.

With me here, Earth will definitely gain massive benefits.

Skye thought to herself, However, the Cosmic Population Control Association can only slow population growth. To solve this problem completely, Master will have to come up with another method.

I wonder what Master plans to do. Restoring balance to the universe is no simple matter.

Just as Skye was lost in thought, Duke Brie came to her again and asked, "Queen Skye, does the marriage agreement between our Skrull Empire and you still stand?"

"It does. Of course it does."

Skye wore a broad smile, looking as though she could not wait to marry herself off. The Skrull royal family’s direct male line was about to go extinct.

While everyone else was celebrating, Wang Bert came to the insect race’s main base. With Annihilus’s fall, the insects were terrified and uneasy. When Wang Bert suddenly appeared in their "palace," they immediately surrounded him with savage ferocity.

Just as the insects were about to attack, an insect commander flew before Wang Bert and said humbly, "Our insect race admits defeat. We will immediately retreat to Negative Space."

Wang Bert sneered. "You killed tens of billions across the universe. What makes you think I will let you retreat?"

The insects flew into a rage, roaring continuously at Wang Bert. The commander shouted, "We were sent by Death! Everything we did was to maintain Universe Balance!"

"Trying to frighten me with Death?"

Wang Bert smiled disdainfully. "In the name of Blood God, I pronounce the Arthrosians exterminated."

"You are Blood God?"

The commander was nearly scared to death. It hurriedly knelt and begged, "Blood God, please spare us. We will never set foot in the Main Universe again."

All the other insects fell to their knees as well, trembling violently. That was Blood God, the invincible Creator God.

"Too late."

Wang Bert said coldly. Then, he took out his Little Universe and gave it a gentle shake. Every insect on the entire planet was drawn into it.

That was not all. After dealing with the insects in the Main Universe, Wang Bert tore open space and entered Negative Space, completely exterminating the Arthrosians.

A man had to keep his word. If he said extermination, then extermination it was.

Death offered no reaction whatsoever. To her, the Arthrosians had merely been tools, and tools that had already become useless at that.

"Now, I have enough power to protect the Main Universe."

Wang Bert nodded in satisfaction, then returned to the Main Universe and arrived on a dead, silent planet destroyed by the insects.

"The energy here came from the insects. It is only right to return it to you."

Wang Bert waved his hand lightly, and a torrential rain began to fall across the planet. This was the Rain of Life. The planet would soon regain its vitality and give birth to life once more.

The concept of creation—I can create everything.

"The loose ends are more or less handled. I’ll leave the rest to the Insect Extermination Alliance."

Wang Bert thought for a moment, then began counting his gains from this battle.

This time, there were few gains, only two: the strength of a Creator God and Galactus’s body.

As for his other gains, there was no need to list them anymore. It was meaningless, because Wang Bert was already a true Creator God.

"Once the celebration ends, I’ll head to Mutant Planet and settle that trouble once and for all."

Wang Bert turned his gaze toward Xandar, wondering whether the beauties had arrived yet. As a Creator God, he could not distance himself from the masses. He had to stay approachable and mingle with beautiful women.

In the blink of an eye, a month had passed. During that month, the aftermath of the great war gradually faded, and the universe returned to its former state.

To prevent another disaster like this, the Five Great Elders proposed establishing the Cosmic Population Control Association. They were currently discussing—arguing—over it.

Even the Earth Federation had spent years in discussion, let alone the Cosmic Population Control Association. According to Trish, full-blown brawls often broke out in the meeting room.

"Take it slow. There’s no rush."

Wang Bert was not anxious. He had already figured out how to maintain Universe Balance. Once he returned from Mutant Planet, he would put it into action.

Wang Bert asked Adam, "So, you want to wander the universe?"

Adam was no longer Satan. He was now an "utterly ordinary" wanderer of the cosmos. In addition, his strength had reached the peak of the god level.

"That’s right. The universe is so vast. I want to see it."

Adam smiled. "Maybe I’ll meet a woman worthy of me. Besides, I want to find Eve."

"Why does that sound so strange?"

Wang Bert mocked him, then tossed the Reality Stone to him. "Be careful. Call me if anything happens."

"Don’t worry. I’m not foolish enough to ignore a backer like you."

Adam laughed loudly, left the villa with the Reality Stone, and headed to the Osborn Corporation’s warship base. He had a warship stored there.

The universe’s most handsome man officially entered the cosmos.

"Youth really is wonderful."

Bald Wang Bert sighed. Wang Bert rolled his eyes and said, "You’re even younger than he is, aren’t you? The Main Universe does not need you for now. Go travel through the Extraterritorial Void. I came into being too recently, so I lack experience. You can make up for that."

"No problem. Reading ten thousand books is not as good as traveling ten thousand miles."

Bald Wang Bert nodded. Remembering something, he reported, "Oh, Astros has already left the Main Universe. She is currently taking control of Seth’s Prime Plane and wants me to go help her."

"Go if you want."

Wang Bert waved dismissively. "Just don’t lose yourself in it and forget to return."

"I am your clone. I possess your virtues."

Bald Wang Bert smiled. "Loving the new and forgetting the old."

"You call that a virtue? And when did I ever have that virtue? I, Bert Wang, am famous for being deeply devoted and faithful."

Wang Bert said irritably, "Enough of that. You can go now. Same as before, be careful. Call me if anything happens."

"No need. In this universe, I, Invincible King, am invincible."

Bald Wang Bert smiled proudly, smashed space apart with a punch, and headed into the Extraterritorial Void.

"Couldn’t you just teleport? What did space ever do to you that you had to hit it?"

Wang Bert rolled his eyes. That guy was even better at showing off than he was.

After dealing with the two clones, Wang Bert turned his attention to Earth and found it peaceful and tranquil. Well, except for New York.

New York was putting on its usual show. Supervillains robbed a bank while Super Heroes chased them relentlessly. The pedestrians were remarkably calm, even taking out their phones to record and comment on the scene.

"Earth is quite lively."

Galactus said as he ate from an enormous bucket of fried chicken. Lina smiled and said, "New York is especially lively. Dad, don’t eat too much. There’s another eating contest today, and you can eat for free."

"I like free food."

Galactus’s eyes lit up. In just one month, he had already learned the joy of getting things for free. It tasted much better than food bought with money.

Lina giggled. "I like it too."

"It seems Galactus is gradually getting used to life on Earth."

Wang Bert shook his head and turned his gaze toward Hela. He found her mixing some kind of black, unidentified substance into stinky tofu, preparing to sell it to those bastard Super Heroes.

You want to laugh at me? Heh. I’ll make sure none of you can find girlfriends for the rest of your lives. This unidentified substance will make your breath smell like you ate that stuff.

"As expected of Hela. Never lacking in fighting spirit."

Wang Bert laughed. Unlike her previous despondency, Hela was relatively calm this time and had not shut herself away at home again.

Last time, Hela had been filled with endless resentment and fury. This time, her heart was peaceful because she had lost completely. Moreover, she no longer hated Odin so much. Odin had grown old.

"I will never eat stinky tofu fried by Hela."

Wang Bert smiled, took a step forward, and arrived in the Chaotic Void. Then he asked the projection, "Has anything changed on Mutant Planet during this past month?"

"Nothing has changed. It is still shrouded in mist."

The projection said, "I also tried, but I could not enter Mutant Planet. It will probably not be easy for you to get in either."

"In this universe, is there really anywhere that I, the Space Lord, cannot enter?"

Wang Bert smiled disdainfully and extended his consciousness into Mutant Planet. A moment later, he frowned.

Mutant Planet was wrapped in a mysterious power. With Wang Bert’s strength, he could force his way through, but doing so would shatter Mutant Planet.

After thinking for a moment, Wang Bert said, "Though my main body cannot enter, I can send in a drop of blood without much energy."

The projection asked, "Could this be part of Wanda’s design?"

"I don’t know. Wanda has not contacted me at all. Something may have happened."

Wang Bert shook his head. "We’ll know once we get inside."

The projection asked, "When do you plan to enter?"

Wang Bert said, "We’ll wait until everyone arrives."

"Until everyone arrives?"

The projection was somewhat confused. Just then, amid a flash of black-and-white light, a figure with a shining head appeared before Wang Bert and the projection.

Wang Bert immediately looked at the other man’s head. It had been a long time, yet it was still just as bright.

Ancient One looked at Wang Bert and said expressionlessly, "I have a feeling you are thinking something highly disrespectful about me."

"Master, you jest."

Wang Bert smiled. "Congratulations on becoming the Lord of Light and Darkness."

Ten days ago, Ancient One had successfully fused with the Lord of Light and the Lord of Darkness, becoming a super ancient god.

Ancient One was not happy at all. Instead, he sighed and said, "There is nothing to congratulate me for. I will soon abandon the divine spark of light and darkness."

Wang Bert was somewhat surprised. "Abandon the divine spark? Why?"

"I became the Lord of Light and Darkness to protect Earth. I knew about Galactus’s arrival many years ago."

Ancient One said, "But man proposes and heaven disposes. Before I even had to do anything, you dealt with Galactus. You even took possession of his body."

Ancient One’s gaze toward Wang Bert was somewhat complicated. This disciple really was outstanding. The problem was that he was too outstanding. Ancient One had worked hard to become the Lord of Light and Darkness, intending to return and save his disciple and the world. Yet when he looked back, ha, the world was already at peace.

Not only that, his disciple had become a Creator God and shaken the universe with his might. What was the point of cultivating anymore? Might as well wash up and go to sleep.

Wang Bert smiled. "Master, I did not want to be this outstanding either."

"After becoming a Creator God, your skin has grown even thicker."

Ancient One said irritably. Then, he turned toward Mutant Planet and sighed. "It seems I will not be needed for Mutant Planet’s affairs either."

That single word, "either," carried all of Ancient One’s bitterness and tears.

Wang Bert said, "If Master is willing, you can enter Mutant Planet with me."
