Sudden Change

"Abandonment? Mooching meals?"

After hearing Wang Bert out, Galactus glared at him. This guy really was a bastard, slandering him like this.

"Galacta, no, Lina, it’s not like that."

Galactus hurriedly explained, "I didn’t abandon you, and I wasn’t planning to mooch a meal. I just wanted to see you."

Lina came back to her senses and waved her hand. "I don’t blame you. After all, I really do eat too much. Ordinary people can’t afford to raise me."

"What a good child."

Galactus was deeply moved, then shot Wang Bert a fierce glare. Deceiving such a kind child—didn’t his conscience hurt? "No, because I just wanted to screw you over."

Wang Bert said to Lina, "Lina, handle the matter with your father yourself. Any problem with that?"

Lina put on the airs of a little adult and said, "No problem, Master. I can already earn money and support myself."

"Very good."

Wang Bert was greatly satisfied. "I’m going to deal with the mess that big villain left behind. I’ll be going first."

"Take care, Master."

Lina said. Wang Bert nodded and Teleported away. The people around them were used to it and showed no reaction—this was New York. What was so special about Teleportation?

Only Lina and Galactus remained outside the burger shop. Lina cursed, "That big villain is so awful. He’s kept my Master so busy that he doesn’t even have time to pick up girls."

Galactus’s mouth twitched. Then Lina seemed to remember something and dragged him back into the burger shop. "I’ll treat you to a meal. In this world, nothing is more important than eating."

Galactus happened to be a little hungry too, so he nodded. "Then let’s eat."

Half an hour later, Lina looked at the burger wrappers covering the table and said to Galactus, "With an appetite like that, you really are my dad. No wonder you couldn’t afford to raise me."

Lina was a little happy. From now on, someone could eat and drink to their heart’s content with her.

Galactus smiled awkwardly. Suddenly, his stomach began to ache, leaving him rather confused. Why did his stomach hurt after eating? Galactus didn’t know that this body had never eaten anything before. It had always been fed nutrient solution. After consuming so much greasy food in such a short time, it would be strange if his stomach didn’t hurt.

Galactus’s journey of learning to be human had only just begun.

Would Galactus poop his pants? If he really did, it would definitely be cosmic news. Maybe Trish could interview him and make it Twitter’s opening headline.

Wang Bert thought wickedly. Then he Teleported to the Frontlines and discovered that Doctor Doom and Ivan had been trapped inside a black hole by Astros, unable to move.

"What’s going on?"

Wang Bert asked, glancing at Serpent God Set at the same time—Set looked utterly miserable, without a single patch of uninjured flesh left on his body. This meant he had been severely wounded, so badly that he could no longer even regenerate.

"These two wanted to test the Antimatter Hydrogen Bomb. I sensed that it could threaten me, so I trapped them in there."

Astros said, "Blood God, your Earth’s scientists are all insane."

"Antimatter Hydrogen Bomb?"

Wang Bert was speechless. He complained to Doctor Doom and Ivan, "Aren’t you two being a little too suicidal? If it actually explodes, you won’t have time to escape."

"We’ll detonate it remotely."

Doctor Doom didn’t care. He said excitedly, "Astros’s reaction proves that our approach is correct."

Ivan nodded repeatedly. "That’s right. We were right. The Antimatter Hydrogen Bomb can threaten Ancient Gods."

"Threaten my ass. In actual combat, the Antimatter Hydrogen Bomb couldn’t hit us at all. The moment it appeared, we’d destroy it."

Astros said disdainfully, "We Ancient Gods can not only manipulate time, but also sense danger."

Doctor Doom said, "We can solve those problems gradually later. One day, I will personally blow an Ancient God to death."

Ivan added, "Me too."

"You two should take it easy. The Universe is trembling in fear."

Wang Bert rolled his eyes. "Astros, finish off Set as soon as possible, then leave the Main Universe."

Astros sneered. "Are you driving me away?"

"Yes. Is there a problem?"

Wang Bert asked.

"No problem. You’re powerful, so you call the shots."

Astros said very sensibly. The man before her was the strongest Creator God—who would dare defy him? "Good."

Wang Bert nodded in satisfaction. At that moment, Set loudly begged for mercy, "Blood God, spare me. I can give you everything."

"Everything you have already belongs to Astros."

Wang Bert sneered. Then he Teleported the Super Heroes out of Hell and said with a smile, "Get ready for a celebration. I’ve dealt with Death. This matter is finally over."

"Long live the Blood God!"

The Super Heroes froze for a moment before cheering loudly. Blood God was just too reliable. Not only had he dealt with Hela and Galactus, but he had even successfully dealt with Death, the true culprit.

Without dealing with Death, it would have been useless no matter how many Thanoses or Helas they defeated, because Death would keep sending people to attack.

"It’s time for me, the Party Little Prince, to shine again."

Tony said excitedly, "This time, I’m throwing a Great Gathering of All Races."

"Didn’t you become the Party Old Prince?"

Hulk mocked.

Banner stabbed the knife in deeper. "And an old prince with no charisma."

Everyone burst into laughter. Tony gritted his teeth in fury. These bastards were jealous of his charm every single day.

At the same time, the Fantastic Four separated. Dr. Richards recalled what had happened earlier, his face looking like he wanted to die.

Thing and Susan secretly rejoiced. Fortunately, it hadn’t been their faces. Otherwise, they would never have been able to show themselves again.

As for Human Torch, he looked guiltily at Tony and decided to hide outside for a few days, lest his boss fire him.

At that moment, Silver Surfer suddenly appeared in front of Susan and said excitedly, "Susan, I’m free. I’ll never have to do things I don’t want to do again."

"Really? Congratulations."

Susan said happily. She deeply sympathized with Silver Surfer’s experiences.

Silver Surfer said, "Really. It’s all thanks to you. You gave me courage."

And you still say there’s nothing between you two?

Wang Bert secretly complained from the side.

Dr. Richards looked Silver Surfer up and down as he asked Susan, "Susan, who is he? His body structure is so strange."

Susan gave Dr. Richards the back of her head. She said to Silver Surfer, "Silver Surfer, come to the party with me tonight. I’ll introduce you to the other Super Heroes."

Silver Surfer said happily, "Okay."

Dr. Richards blinked, then suddenly said to Susan, "Susan, let’s get married."

"What?"

Susan instantly forgot her previous vow and turned to Dr. Richards in surprise—whatever, she could turn invisible. No one else could see her.

Dr. Richards said excitedly, "Our son is an incredibly powerful mutant. He can even travel through Timelines. We have to give birth to him."

"You’re proposing to me just so we can have a son?"

Susan’s face instantly darkened. She had been so stupid to believe that bastard Reed could change. She grabbed Silver Surfer’s hand and said, "Take me back to Earth. We’re going to pick out clothes."

"Okay."

Silver Surfer didn’t waste any words. He pulled Susan onto his board and instantly vanished.

Dr. Richards was somewhat curious. "That board can actually travel through space?"

"Is that really what you should be concerned about? Reed, your future wife was taken away by someone else."

Thing mocked.

"Don’t worry. The future won’t change. Since Susan and I have a child, it proves that we’ll definitely get married in the future."

Dr. Richards said with complete confidence. He was a genius scientist, after all.

Everyone wanted to roll their eyes. A guy like that could actually find a wife, and a super beautiful one at that. Heaven truly had no eyes.

"There’ll be a good show to watch later."

Wang Bert smiled and called Skye aside. "Earth can’t be too high-profile right now. You’ll handle the cleanup this time. Also, don’t disband the Insect Extermination Alliance. Transform it into another organization."

Skye’s eyes lit up. "What organization? United Planet?"

"United Planet? That sounds awful."

Wang Bert complained. Then he said, "Transform it into the Cosmic Population Control Association. If we want to resolve this matter completely, the universe must return to balance."

Skye nodded. "I understand. It shouldn’t be too difficult. Everyone is smart."

"Good."

Wang Bert nodded in satisfaction and carefully explained the association’s charter. Skye memorized every detail. Then she thought of something and asked, "Master, are you going to be a hands-off boss again?"

Wang Bert said righteously, "Your Master is a Creator God now. Have you ever seen a Creator God personally handle affairs?"

"That… actually makes sense. Master, from now on, you can slack off openly and honestly."

Skye laughed. Although her Master was often unserious, he really was a Creator God—and an especially powerful one.

Wang Bert smiled. "That has always been my motivation for striving forward."

"You became a Creator God just so you could slack off? If your admirers find out, they’ll collapse."

Skye mocked. Wang Bert shrugged and took everyone back to the Frontlines base. As for Set, he left Astros to deal with him slowly herself.

After that, Wang Bert privately found Deadpool and said, "In a while, I’m going to Mutant Planet. You’ll come with me."

"No problem, Blood God. How are you planning to handle Mutant Planet?"

Deadpool asked. At that moment, he was utterly serious—he represented not only himself, but all the powerful beings on Mutant Planet.

"We’ll talk when we get there."

Wang Bert said, "You can rest assured. I won’t destroy Mutant Planet. I’ll handle this matter properly."

"That’s good. We’ll wait for you on Mutant Planet…"

Deadpool was speaking when his body suddenly turned into a phantom. He froze, then turned toward the void and shouted, "No, Author! If I don’t appear, you’ll lose all your popularity!"

The next second, Deadpool vanished. Wang Bert was startled and hurriedly contacted the Projection. "Did something happen on Mutant Planet?"

The Projection answered, "I don’t know."

Wang Bert snapped, "You’re telling me you don’t know? Isn’t monitoring Mutant Planet your responsibility?"

"My responsibility is indeed to monitor Mutant Planet. The problem is that, starting some time ago, Mutant Planet became shrouded in fog. I can’t see anything."

The Projection said, "Huh, wait. Mutant Planet is no longer approaching Earth."

"Mutant Planet is no longer approaching Earth?"

Wang Bert frowned. "That may not be a good thing. Continue monitoring it for now. I’ll head to Mutant Planet as soon as possible."

The Projection said, "Okay."

Come to think of it, Mutant Planet seems to be the only trouble left.

Wang Bert thought to himself. Once I deal with Mutant Planet, I can retire in peace and pick up girls every day.

Meanwhile, in the Future Universe in the year 2050, Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, and Loki Odinson were hiding inside a watchtower that was about to be destroyed by a tsunami.

Tony cursed loudly, "Damn Time Variance Authority. Not only did they drag me out of my home, they even wanted to put me on trial. I’ll never let them get away with this."

"The Time Variance Authority, damn them."

Steve’s expression was equally grim. They had finally dealt with Thanos and thought they could sleep peacefully from then on, only to be captured by the Time Variance Authority immediately afterward. Anyone would be furious.

Loki said excitedly, "The Time Variance Authority can travel through Timelines. If we can control them, we’ll become gods."

Tony scoffed. "I didn’t expect you to remain this ambitious even after becoming a woman."

"Are you discriminating against women? Believe it or not, I’ll sue you?"

Loki snorted. "Tony Stark, are you willing to just grow old and die like this? Don’t you want to be immortal like Blood God?"

"Immortal?"

Tony fell silent for a moment. Steve glanced at him and said, "I don’t. I only want to return to our Timeline. I wonder whether S.W.O.R.D. has delivered the food yet. If not, many people on Earth will starve to death."

"Probably not. If the past universe knew something had happened to us, they would definitely come looking for us."

Tony shook his head. "The Quantum Tunnel has most likely been sealed by the Time Variance Authority. Steve, we have to fight back and take down the Time Variance Authority. Otherwise, not only will we die, many people on Earth will die too."

Steve sighed. "The problem is, how do we take down the Time Variance Authority?"

"Find another Loki—Lady Loki."

Loki said, "That Lady Loki knows the Time Variance Authority extremely well. If we find her, we can deal with the Time Variance Authority."

"Fine. I’ll find a way to locate that buck-toothed Loki."

Tony took out a Controller—something he had stolen from the Time Variance Authority. It was the reason they had been able to escape here.

In another universe, Sanctuary had been breached by someone. Corpses and blood covered the deck. Thanos coughed up blood as he roared at the Cloaked Man in the distance, "Who exactly are you? What do you want?"

"I am destiny. I am here to preserve the balance of the universe."

The Cloaked Man removed his cloak, revealing another purple potato creature—cough, another Thanos.

Thanos looked stunned. "How is this possible? Why are you trying to kill me?"

Cloaked Thanos said nothing. He merely sent a stream of consciousness into Thanos. After absorbing it, Thanos was stunned for a moment, then laughed loudly. "So that’s how it is. Fine, take my life—but you must help me fulfill my destiny."

Cloaked Thanos snapped his fingers and said with a look of intoxication, "I am destiny."

Thanos blinked. The Thanos across from him seemed to have some mental problems. Cloaked Thanos gave him no further chance to speak. He opened his mouth, and Thanos rapidly shrank before flying into it.

After devouring Thanos, Cloaked Thanos looked thrilled. His power had grown stronger again.

"Death, I will return soon. When that time comes, I will fulfill the destiny you gave me."

Cloaked Thanos snapped his fingers once more and declared fanatically, "I am destiny."
