Havoc in Heaven, Tathagata Takes Action

Tathagata waved his hand. "Today, I’ll let you off the hook. I didn’t come here for you, but for that monkey!"

Sun Wukong looked at Tathagata. "Bald Tathagata, what do you want with me?"

Tathagata looked at Sun Wukong. "Demon monkey, you caused havoc in Heaven. What crime do you deserve?"

Sun Wukong gave a disdainful laugh. "So what if I caused havoc in Heaven? Now I want to be the Jade Emperor!"

Tathagata chuckled. "What makes you qualified to be the Jade Emperor?"

"If the Jade Emperor can be the Jade Emperor, why can’t I?" Sun Wukong declared righteously.

The corners of Tathagata’s lips rose. "Fine. Let’s make a wager. Isn’t your Somersault Cloud incredibly fast? As long as you can fly out of my palm, what’s wrong with letting you take the Jade Emperor’s seat?"

As he spoke, Tathagata extended his hand. In an instant, his hand grew several times larger, easily large enough for Sun Wukong to stand on.

Sun Wukong laughed. "Fine! You said it. Don’t you dare go back on your word later!"

"Don’t worry. If I didn’t even have that much integrity, what kind of Buddha would I be?" Tathagata said with a smile.

Sun Wukong nodded and stepped onto Tathagata’s palm. At that moment, he felt that Tathagata was an idiot. Wasn’t flying out of his palm easy? It would be effortless!

Su Yu watched the scene without speaking. Sun Wukong began flying outward, and from his high vantage point, Su Yu watched him fly farther and farther away. Yet Tathagata’s palm also kept growing larger, and Sun Wukong did not notice in the slightest.

After flying for an unknown amount of time, Sun Wukong saw five pillars. He circled them once and asked in confusion, "Why are there five pillars here? Could it be that I’ve reached the edge of the Immortal Realm? I heard the edge of the Immortal Realm is supported by pillars."

After thinking for a moment, Sun Wukong decided he had to leave a mark proving that he had come here. He took out the Golden Cudgel and carved a line of words onto a pillar: "Great Sage Equal to Heaven was here."

After writing that, Sun Wukong undid his pants and took a piss. Once he was done, he flew back. Before long, he arrived before Tathagata. "Bald Tathagata, I’ve flown out of your palm. Shouldn’t the Jade Emperor’s position be mine now?"

Tathagata smiled. "Are you sure you flew out?"

"Of course. I even reached the edge of the Immortal Realm and left a mark on one of the pillars!" Sun Wukong said with a nod.

Tathagata laughed. "Haha, take a look behind you."

Hearing Tathagata’s words, Sun Wukong turned around and saw "Great Sage Equal to Heaven was here" written on Tathagata’s middle finger. Tathagata’s palm also carried the stench of urine. Sun Wukong’s expression changed drastically. "Impossible! What kind of spell is this? I’m going to the edge of the Immortal Realm again!"

As he spoke, Sun Wukong was about to fly away when Tathagata flipped his palm over and directly crushed him into the Human Realm. His palm then transformed into Five Finger Mountain, pinning Sun Wukong beneath it.

Su Yu looked at Tathagata coldly. "You hypocrite. Are all you Buddhists this disgusting?"

Tathagata looked at Su Yu. "I made a wager with that monkey. He lost. What’s wrong with suppressing him?"

Su Yu sneered. "Did you really win? Perhaps even Sun Wukong himself hasn’t realized it yet, but when he reached your fingers, he circled them twice! In other words, he had already left your palm!"

Tathagata narrowed his eyes and smiled. "The overall situation has already been decided. There’s no point arguing over this. In any case, I have already accomplished what I came to do."

Su Yu snorted coldly, then flicked his sleeve and used the Space Stone to head for the Human Realm.

However, at that moment, Su Yu was unexpectedly blocked at the Immortal Realm Boundary Wall. Su Yu was shocked. This was the Space Stone forged from the Space-Time Dominator’s Dominion Power. How could this happen?

At that moment, Tathagata actually followed him over. Seeing Su Yu standing before the boundary wall, he laughed loudly. "Kid, I don’t know what means you used to suddenly leave, but Spirit Mountain and the Heavenly Court have severed the connection between the Immortal Realm and the Human Realm. No matter how capable you are, you can no longer go to the Human Realm!"

Su Yu immediately understood. The Immortal Realm and Human Realm had lost their connection, which meant they had essentially become two separate worlds. The Space Stone could not travel between two worlds. If the Space-Time Dominator were here, crossing over would naturally be effortless. Unfortunately, this Space Stone had merely been forged from a strand of the Space-Time Dominator’s Dominion Power.

Su Yu had originally been considering whether to free Sun Wukong. Since things had already reached this point, he decided to let Sun Wukong calm down for five hundred years. Five hundred years were insignificant to Sun Wukong anyway, though they might be somewhat boring.

Su Yu swept his spear, then vanished. After Su Yu disappeared, Tathagata looked toward the Human Realm and muttered, "It’s time to begin making arrangements…"

After saying that, Tathagata returned to Spirit Mountain.

Five hundred days in the Immortal Realm. Five hundred years in the Human Realm.

Over the past year or so, Su Yu had searched the entire Immortal Realm, yet he could not find Erha. Nor had he heard any more rumors of a huge wolf tearing down houses. This made Su Yu wonder whether Erha had gone to the Human Realm or the Demon Realm.

Five hundred years passed in the Human Realm. One day, Su Yu discovered that the Immortal Realm and Human Realm had connected once more, so he left the Immortal Realm and arrived in the Mortal Realm. By then, Tang Sanzang had already rescued Sun Wukong. Su Yu calculated that Sun Wukong had been on his journey to retrieve the scriptures for several years already.

Su Yu wanted to find Sun Wukong, but after thinking it over, he decided against it. He did not want to deal with Tang Sanzang. No matter what, Tang Sanzang belonged to Buddhism and was that old bald Tathagata’s disciple. Su Yu then returned to Flower Fruit Mountain.

Su Yu descended from the sky, and ten old monkeys immediately appeared before him. Looking at them, Su Yu smiled. "Five hundred years have passed, and you haven’t disappointed me. All of you have entered the Great Luo Heavenly Immortal Realm!"

Seeing that it was Su Yu, the ten men immediately burst into tears of joy. "Second King! Where have you been all these years? We heard that after you and the King caused havoc in Heaven five hundred years ago, you both vanished without a trace. We intended to search for you in the Immortal Realm, but the gate leading there was closed."

"I’ve been looking for my pet in the Immortal Realm these past years," Su Yu said with a smile.

After a moment of confusion, the ten men asked, "Second King, do you know where the King is now?"

Su Yu froze for a moment. "You don’t know where Junior Brother is?"

The ten men shook their heads in confusion.

Su Yu then told them of Sun Wukong’s experiences. Once he finished, the ten men flew into a rage. "Damn Buddha! Damn Tang Sanzang! That Buddha actually suppressed the King for five hundred years, and Tang Sanzang even forced the King to protect him! Come on, let’s kill Tang Sanzang so the King can come back!"

Su Yu immediately shouted, "Stop! If you go kill Tang Sanzang, Buddha will certainly come after Flower Fruit Mountain. Do you want to drag Flower Fruit Mountain into this?"

PS: Let me explain. This is fan fiction, and I wrote this part based on the television drama. Don’t have someone jump out later claiming that in the original work, Sun Wukong didn’t circle Tathagata’s fingers twice.
