Iceman Bobby

Wrath wasn’t dead. Large amounts of Black Qi rose from his two halves, twisting around each other. Then, the two halves fused together, and Wrath returned to normal.

Psylocke had expected this. She rapidly swung her long blade in midair, sending dazzling purple arcs of sword light howling forth and slicing the newly restored Wrath into dozens of pieces.

Then came a series of bangs. Wrath’s remains crashed to the ground one after another. Juggernaut charged over, wildly hammering the remains with his massive hammer to prevent him from reviving.

"I told you, I won’t lose this time."

Juggernaut burst into laughter. Wolverine was a little speechless. Wasn’t this behavior a bit too villainous?

Just then, all the remains on the ground suddenly turned into Black Qi. The Black Qi merged together, turning back into a savage-faced Wrath.

"You’re all going to die."

Wrath was furious beyond measure. His body swelled at an astonishing speed, and in the blink of an eye, he became a giant covered in bulging muscles.

Then, Wrath fiercely kicked at Juggernaut. Before his foot even arrived, a fierce gale had already risen around Juggernaut. Juggernaut did not dodge. He let out an angry roar and swung his huge hammer hard at the giant foot.

With a deafening boom, the hammer soared into the sky, while Juggernaut flew away like a meteor, rolling endlessly across the ground.

Wrath was about to pursue Juggernaut when a mech over ten meters tall charged over and brutally knocked him to the ground.

"I’ll handle this big guy. You go deal with the others."

Magneto sat inside the mech, punching at the rising Wrath while shouting.

"Alright."

Wolverine, Sabretooth, the recovered Juggernaut, and White Queen nodded and charged toward the Mutants and Elite Evil Believers. A fierce battle immediately erupted, with all kinds of superpower light flying everywhere.

"Die!"

The Hedgehog Mutant roared, firing the spikes all over his body at Wolverine like a dense rain of arrows. Though Wolverine’s scalp prickled, he did not dodge. The next moment, countless spikes pierced him, and blood poured out as though it cost nothing.

"Now you know how powerful I am, right?"

The Hedgehog Mutant was immensely pleased with himself. Just then, Wolverine charged before him as though unaffected and viciously drove his claws into the Hedgehog Mutant’s chest.

"Your power is disgusting."

Wolverine cursed, lifted the Hedgehog Mutant with his claws, and smashed him viciously into the ground. Then he retracted his claws and began pulling spikes out of his body with an unhappy expression.

Halfway through, Wolverine thought of something. He used the spikes as hidden weapons and fired them at the other Mutants. Screams immediately rang out all around him.

On the other side, an Elite Evil Believer emerged from Sabretooth’s shadow, preparing to ambush him. Just then, Sabretooth suddenly turned and viciously plunged his claws into the man’s abdomen.

Sabretooth let out a low growl, pulled out his claws, and forcibly tore off the Elite Evil Believer’s neck. Then he stood bathed in blood, his face full of excitement.

Sabretooth might not have much of a brain, but his animal instincts were incredibly sharp. Almost no one could successfully ambush him.

"I’ll ram you all to death!"

Juggernaut’s fighting style remained the same: he kept charging and ramming. Seeing this, Big Fatty blocked his path, his body gradually turning earth-colored—he was linking himself to the ground, allowing the earth to take half the impact he received.

Boom! Juggernaut crashed heavily into Big Fatty. Big Fatty screamed as he flew backward, his body covered in spiderweb-like cracks. He looked utterly miserable.

Juggernaut roared and continued charging at the others. The reason he could not defeat Wrath was not because he was weak, but because Wrath was too powerful. Among Mutants, Juggernaut was absolutely considered a powerhouse.

Compared with the other three, White Queen’s fighting style was exceptionally elegant. She stood where she was, while the Mutants and Evil Believers not only failed to attack her but even slaughtered each other. It looked bizarre beyond measure.

This was White Queen’s mental illusion technique. She was a lady, after all. How could she casually go around fighting and killing?

Meanwhile, Magneto was battling Wrath. Wrath was formidable, but Magneto was no pushover either. All manner of cold weapons and high-tech equipment continuously emerged from the mech—chainsaws, lightning waves, magnetic fields, and more—as he fought Wrath back and forth.

However, Magneto knew very well that if the battle continued, the mech would definitely lose. The reason was simple: Wrath could heal himself, but the mech could not. As its parts were constantly knocked away, the mech would eventually be finished.

Fortunately, only the mech would lose. Magneto would not lose. He was Magneto.

As Magneto fought Wrath, Quicksilver, who had previously fallen due to the mental shock, climbed to his feet. He had intended to continue dealing with Azazel, only to discover that Azazel had taken the Altar and the Descendants thousands of meters into the sky—Original Sin was helping Azazel, otherwise those things could not have floated in the air.

At this moment, the Altar had already activated. The runes atop it lit up one after another. Nightcrawler and the other descendants screamed in unbearable pain under the Altar’s effects, as something was being extracted from their bodies.

In fact, what was being extracted from Nightcrawler and the others was Space Power. This was also why Azazel needed them as sacrifices.

With Quicksilver’s speed, he could easily run up several hundred meters into the air, but several thousand meters was truly beyond him. After thinking for a moment, he turned toward Wang Bert and found him standing there with a blank stare.

"Has Iron Man been mentally controlled?"

Quicksilver froze. He was about to go wake Wang Bert when Psylocke flew over and said, "Don’t disturb Iron Man. Go help Wolverine and the others. I’ll deal with Azazel."

After saying that, Psylocke did not wait for Quicksilver to agree. She flew straight into the sky and slashed a massive arc of purple sword light at Azazel.

Seeing the sword light, Azazel immediately teleported behind Psylocke and placed a hand on her shoulder. The next second, both of them appeared tens of thousands of meters in the air. Azazel gave a savage grin, preparing to teleport away and let Psylocke fall to her death—he had not teleported Psylocke’s Green Goblin Glider with her.

Just then, a purple rope wrapped around Azazel’s arm. Psylocke spun around and smashed her elbow into Azazel’s cheek, sending him screaming downward.

Psylocke threw away her long blade and condensed two daggers out of purple energy, repeatedly stabbing them toward Azazel. Azazel hurriedly teleported, but because of the rope, Psylocke vanished with him.

The next second, they both reappeared in midair. After a brief moment of discomfort, Psylocke continued stabbing at Azazel with her daggers. Azazel swung his tail, knocking Psylocke’s arm aside. Then he drew the dagger at his waist and stabbed hard toward her chest.

Psylocke shouted, and a beautiful suit of armor materialized around her, blocking Azazel’s dagger. Then she held both daggers and viciously stabbed toward Azazel’s neck.

Azazel changed position through Teleportation, then stabbed his dagger toward Psylocke’s waist, which was not protected by armor.

Psylocke swung her dagger to block Azazel’s attack. Then the two engaged in an incomparably fierce battle tens of thousands of meters in the sky. The situation was perilous to the extreme; a single mistake could lead to death.

The fully focused Psylocke did not notice that although she had tied down Azazel, the runes on the Altar continued lighting up. This meant the sacrifice ritual was still ongoing.

"Wow, what a spectacular show, even though I can’t see a thing."

Quicksilver shrugged and charged toward the other Mutants and Evil Believers. His speed was simply too fast. In the blink of an eye, several Mutants were sent flying by him. Even more exaggeratedly, those Mutants could not see Quicksilver at all.

Suddenly, Quicksilver noticed Domino admiring the scenery. He was overjoyed and immediately charged fiercely toward her.

Just then, a Mutant let out a high-frequency scream at Wolverine. Quicksilver felt unbearably uncomfortable, clutched his ears, and fell to the ground, sliding all the way to Domino’s feet.

Seeing Quicksilver suddenly appear, Domino bent down in surprise and asked, "Pietro? Were you trying to peek at me? Sorry, I’m wearing leather pants today."

"I wasn’t peeking at you. At least not today."

Quicksilver climbed up irritably and shouted, "Domino, you nearly got me killed earlier. I’m going to beat you into a pig’s head."

Domino smiled. "No, you won’t hit me."

"I’m definitely hitting you. I said so. Even God can’t stop me."

Quicksilver gritted his teeth. Domino spread her hands and said, "God may not be able to stop you, but Iron Man can. Pietro, I’m an undercover agent Iron Man placed in the Brotherhood. Given the current situation, we should be allies."

Quicksilver stared in astonishment. "What does Iron Man have to do with it? Wait, Iron Man? You’re an undercover agent?"

"Yes, I’m an undercover agent."

Domino nodded. A bullet happened to fly over her head, cutting off a strand of her hair.

"How can you be an undercover agent?"

Quicksilver shouted, "Wait, if you’re undercover, why did you try to kill me?"

"Couldn’t be helped. They forced me to," Domino said. "Besides, aren’t you fine now?"

"I’m not fine. I’ve got a belly full of anger with nowhere to vent it. I’m about to suffocate."

Quicksilver cursed in frustration and charged toward the others. The next second, several Mutants were sent flying one after another.

Domino laughed. Quicksilver was pretty amusing. More importantly, he had principles. He had not taken the chance to get revenge on her.

Meanwhile, Iceman and Human Torch faced each other. Iceman Bobby shouted, "John, how could you worship the Doomsday Master? It’s not a good thing."

"Traitor, you still have the nerve to show your face before me?"

John roared, "Why do I worship the Doomsday Master? Isn’t it because you betrayed me, Bobby? We were best friends for years, yet you kicked me while I was down and stole everything from me?"

"I didn’t steal anything from you. Uh, John, are you talking about Firefighter Hero?"

Bobby came to a realization and shouted, "You misunderstood. I never wanted to be Firefighter Hero, but William said it was dangerous for the city to have no fire brigade. Besides, this was your mistake. I wanted to help you make up for it. Only then would the public forgive you."

"Bullshit!"

John cursed, "You were just jealous of me and wanted to take everything that belonged to me."

"If I wanted to be Firefighter Hero, I would have agreed long ago."

Bobby shouted, "John, come back. The professor and I will help you. You can’t keep making mistakes, or you’ll never be able to turn back."

"I’m wrong? What did I do wrong? Worshipping the Doomsday Master was the most correct thing I’ve ever done in my life."

John shouted, "My friend betrayed me, my teacher abandoned me, and my idol threw me into prison. This damned world should not exist at all. I’m going to help the Doomsday Master destroy this world."

"The professor and the others never abandoned you. They’ve been looking for evidence for you all along. If you hadn’t escaped from prison, you could have walked out openly long ago."

Bobby said, "As for Iron Man putting you in prison, he did nothing wrong. If he hadn’t stopped you back then, you would have burned many people to death."

"They deserved it. You too, Bobby. Go die!"

John did not want to say anything more. He transformed into his Human Torch form and raised his hand, blasting two masses of Pitch-Black Flame at Bobby. Bobby hurriedly spread his hands and used icy air to block the flames.

Human Torch’s flames were far more powerful than Bobby’s icy air. Bobby retreated while shouting, "John, turn back! The other students all want you to return to the academy. If you’re willing to turn back, the professor and Iron Man will definitely help you."

"I’m doing great now. Why should I turn back? Bobby, you’re no match for me. I’ll let everyone know that I’m better than you."

John shouted. The two masses of flame blazed fiercely. Bobby gradually found himself unable to hold on, and his icy air became shorter and shorter.

"John, I’ll definitely bring you back."

Bobby gritted his teeth and expelled icy air with all his strength. The icy air rapidly expanded and collided violently with the blazing flames in midair.

"How can you be this strong?"

John looked utterly disbelieving. The Doomsday Master had greatly enhanced him, while Iceman’s strength had previously been about the same as his.

"Because I have conviction. John, I’ll definitely bring you back."

Bobby shouted. John had so many complaints that he did not know where to begin. What the hell is this conviction nonsense? This isn’t one of those unscientific Super Heroes comics where conviction makes you invincible! This is reality, reality with basic laws!

The reason Bobby had suddenly grown stronger was simple: he had the potential. As a quasi Omega-Level Mutant, breaking through in battle was nothing remarkable.

This was also why Wang Bert had dared to bring Bobby here.

Looking at Bobby, deep Jealousy surged in John’s heart. He frantically intensified his flames while roaring, "Bobby, I’ll definitely kill you."

Leaving Bobby and John, who were currently exchanging blasts, aside for the moment, let us turn time back a little. After Wang Bert sent out the Iron Man Armor, his vision suddenly blurred as he entered the Hell Illusion. Standing opposite him was, unsurprisingly, Original Sin wreathed in Black Qi.

"This trick again?"

Wang Bert looked displeased. Although his essence was higher than Original Sin’s, his power was much weaker. Without preparation, it was difficult for him to resist the other party’s corruption.

Original Sin said coldly, "Iron Man, you can’t stop me."

"I don’t think so. Original Sin, it won’t be long before I personally visit you in prison. When that happens, it’ll be your death day."

Wang Bert snorted and controlled his consciousness to leave the illusion. Seeing this, Original Sin raised a hand, and countless chains flew out around them, binding Wang Bert in midair.

"Get lost!"

Wang Bert shouted. A majestic figure appeared in the void. Then the figure raised its fist and slammed it down, causing the entire illusion to collapse.

"Galactus! How can you manifest Galactus through your mind?"

Original Sin shouted in disbelief. Although a mental illusion could create anything, someone like Galactus could not possibly be manifested into a physical form without a deep understanding of him. At most, there could only be a phantom.

Original Sin did not dare delay. It hurriedly released massive amounts of Black Qi to repair the void and prevent the illusion from collapsing.
