If You Want a Fight, Then Let’s Fight

Lake laughed.

Give me some dignity?

You?

Holding a bourbon glass, Lake looked mockingly at Kord Fontana, who had been subjected to his Illusory Demon Emperor Fist and, despite the help of numerous psychic magical artifacts, had failed to last even a second before becoming his slave. He couldn’t help feeling an absurdity beyond words.

Come to think of it, had he been using his aliases a little too often lately? Why did these people keep provoking him instead of leaving his aliases alone?

Were they tired of living?

A smile slowly spread across Lake’s lips, but the smile… gradually turned cold.

The Federal Magic World?

Heh.

He hadn’t gone looking for trouble with them, yet they had gone out of their way to come looking for trouble with him?

Fine.

They had gotten so used to being Mephisto’s dogs that they feared Mephisto but not him, huh?

All right!

Mephisto could grant them immunity from death, but he wondered whether they could obtain his permission for death immunity.

The Federal Magic World should be erased from existence!

Lake set down the glass in his hand. With a whoosh, he appeared directly in front of Kord Fontana and placed his right hand on Kord Fontana’s shoulder. "Let’s go!"

The next second.

Boom!

A sudden gale appeared in the living room with a whoosh. It came and went just as quickly. By the time it vanished, Lake and Kord Fontana had disappeared from the living room.

Whoosh!

In a deserted alley beside Starlight Tower, one with no surveillance cameras and no visitors year-round—

A bolt of lightning silently flashed, and in the next moment, Lake appeared in the alley with Kord Fontana.

"Take me to the entrance to the Wizarding World!"

"…Yes, Master!"

Kord Fontana seemed to struggle for a moment, but soon, under the suppression of the Gemini Nebula Diagram in his mind, he once again returned to the state of being enslaved by the Illusory Demon Emperor Fist.

Teleportation!

One of the superpowers of the Sixth Sense of Cosmo. It required no path whatsoever and could instantly reach someone’s location. It could even transport people, or an entire army.

For a powerful Gold Saint in perfect form, teleportation distances were measured in light-years.

As for Lake?

He had only just broken through the barrier of the Sixth Sense and hadn’t had time to study it yet. He had already caught sight of the threshold of the Seventh Sense. It was like a maze: Lake could see the entrance and the exit, but the scenery in between was still shrouded in fog.

However…

With the entrance to the Seventh Sense serving as a guide, Lake’s research into the Sixth Sense advanced every day, even every moment. It was like taking an exam: Lake already knew the answer, and all he had to do was write out the steps for deriving it.

The Federal Magic World’s organization was formally called the American Magic Congress. In the beginning, its headquarters had been established in the Appalachian Mountains by a group of wizards and witches.

After that, the headquarters was moved to Williamsburg, Virginia. Later, because the wizards had recklessly attacked the so-called Muggles, the headquarters was moved once again, this time to Baltimore. Then, when the Civil War broke out, the headquarters was moved to Washington, D.C.

And now?

The headquarters of the American Magic Congress was in New York. The wizards had infiltrated the construction team building a new structure in New York and used magic to place inside it the dimensional seed they had brought from London, turning it into their brand-new base.

The Woolworth Building!

At the time, it was the tallest building in the world, as well as a New York landmark filled with wonder and romance. After its completion, it became a building shared by Muggles and wizards. Only the correct spell could open the portal leading to the Federal Magic Dimension.

Several teleports!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

With his flowing golden hair and transformed into Saga, Lake dragged Kord Fontana to a corner of Battery Park. As Lake’s home base, he knew exactly where New York’s surveillance cameras, large and small, were located.

"Let’s go!"

"Yes!"

Dressed in a black suit, Lake issued an order to Kord Fontana ahead of him, then had Kord lead the way. He followed Kord out of the small grove.

Battery Park was located on Wall Street, and its entrance faced Wall Street’s famous Charging Bull.

Although it was a workday, Battery Park still had a considerable number of visitors. After all, it was a good place to invite clients to discuss investment business.

"Huh."

"What is it, dear?"

"Look over there. That person…"

Not far away, a young couple noticed Lake emerging from the grove. The young wife pointed him out to her husband from a distance. "I feel like I’ve seen him somewhere before."

The young husband’s expression gradually turned green. "Another one of your ex-boyfriends?"

After all, they had come from New Jersey to New York for their honeymoon, and at the hotel, in bars, and even on buses, the young husband had already seen several of his wife’s ex-boyfriends.

The young wife didn’t answer. She seemed to be thinking. After a while, she appeared to remember something, took out her phone, and entered the name Saga into a search engine. A picture appeared—neither particularly clear nor particularly blurry.

"Look!"

The young wife called her husband back and held up her phone. Then she pointed at Lake, who was almost at the park exit. "Isn’t this person the one in the photo?"

Although the Long Island Demon War from several months ago had now been officially brainwashed into an accident caused by a biochemical experiment, and most people had accepted that explanation, there was no way to erase Saga—the Saga who had appeared after the superhero Iron Man.

Some New York geeks had already created a website. So far, the website contained only Iron Man and… Saga.

The young husband stared at the photo on his phone, looking up and down repeatedly. His new bride, however, could no longer contain herself.

"Allen, let’s go!"

"Go? Where?"

"I want a picture with him."

"…"

Before the young husband could recover, his new bride had already rushed behind Lake like a female reporter who had survived countless battles in New York’s media industry. "Excuse me, sir."

Feeling the intense admiration behind him, Lake stopped and turned around.

The young wife looked excited, nervous, and expectant as she turned her phone screen toward Lake. Filled with anticipation, she asked, "You’re the person in this photo, right? You’re Mr. Saga? Gemini Saga?"

As always, no matter how Lake looked at the photos of his alias, they all showed the same face. He glanced at the young woman and smiled faintly. "Is there something I can help you with, ma’am?"

The young wife was so excited she nearly screamed. "I… Could I take a picture with you, Mr. Saga? I’m your fan."

Lake smiled. "Of course. Why not?"

The young wife was so thrilled she nearly fainted. She ran to Lake’s side, looked around, then turned her gaze toward her approaching husband. "Hi, sir. Could you take a picture for us?"

The young husband opened and closed his mouth. He looked at his wife, who had turned him into a stranger with a single sentence, then at the camera in his hand. Finally, he looked up at the prominent assets his wife was pressing tightly against her idol and remained silent for a while. In the end, he still raised the camera to fulfill his new bride’s wish.

Soon.

Click!

The young wife excitedly thanked Lake.

Lake smiled. After sensing a figure flash past and Kord Fontana disappear, he said to the young wife, "It’ll be very dangerous here soon. You two should leave."

They had stolen his man and thought everything would be fine, that the world would be at peace?

Heh.

His killing intent had arisen. Nothing could stop him!

If their Magic Dimension didn’t take a break in the river of time today, he would write the name Saga backward!

The young wife blinked when she heard this.

Just then.

Lake took his right hand from his pocket. When the Gemini Cloth card touched his finger, it made a crisp sound. With a ding, it traced an arc through the air and fell to the ground.

The next second.

Hum!

The Gemini Nebula Diagram descended once again. As the Gemini Nebula Diagram on the ground began to flash in harmony with the one appearing in the sky, the Gemini Cloth Box unfolded once more with a bang.

Lake stepped forward with his right foot.

Bang!

Crack!

Boom!

Thud!

The Gemini Cloth instantly disassembled and took flight, rushing rapidly toward Lake.

"Clang!"

"Get lost!"

As usual, Lake slapped away the helmet that tried to fly onto his head. He stared expressionlessly at the Woolworth Building. Looking at the owl statue, he gave a cold laugh. "The Federal Magic World betrayed humanity and colluded with Hell. You deserve to die!"

Boom!

A sonic boom struck in an instant.

Lake appeared in midair above the Woolworth Building. He directly drew upon the power of his Cosmo with his right fist and then slammed it toward the owl atop the Woolworth Building—the entrance to the Magic Dimension.

"Lightning!"

"Light Speed Fist!!!!"

"Boom boom boom!"
