Kill Qin Ming
Since the founding of the Great Xia Dynasty, it has received help from three Powers. Today, these three Powers are all relatives of the Royal Family.
Each of the three Powers has a Martial Venerable. Since neither can do anything to the other, they have no choice but to compromise and intermarry.
As for the Fifth Prince, he is currently the most favored. The Old Ancestor has clearly expressed support for him, while the other two princes—their Old Ancestors, for the sake of the stability of the Great Xia Dynasty, seem to have begun considering shifting to his side.
After all, he has strong blood ties with these three Powers, an advantage that the other two princes do not possess.
The Sixth Prince and the Seventh Prince only have one Martial Venerable who shares a blood relation with them.
Therefore, although three heirs were established, those two heirs are merely candidates. As long as he is not too incompetent, under the mutual compromise of the three Martial Venerables, he will definitely obtain the throne.
Just as he was planning how to vie for the throne, a figure suddenly appeared on his roof.
"Who is it?" An immense Aura pressed down on him, and he could not help but exclaim in surprise.
If a Martial Venerable were to act as an assassin, unless one had another Martial Venerable guarding them around the clock, death would be inevitable.
Martial Venerables generally would not do such despicable things. Firstly, they have the dignity of a Martial Venerable; to kill someone below the level of a Martial Venerable while resorting to sneak attacks and assassinations would be a total loss of face.
The second reason is that Martial Venerables generally have Powers behind them, and they are wary of one another.
"Open the door! If I wanted to kill you, you would have been dead long ago. I have something to discuss with you."
A voice appeared by his ear. The Fifth Prince hesitated for a moment before pulling open the door.
Outside the door, two guards had already fallen to the ground, and an old man stood in the Void Realm.
"Please enter, Venerable." The Fifth Prince gestured with his hand and said respectfully. Although he is a prince, a Venerable is the strongest Expert on the continent, and his status is even higher than his.
The old man walked in indifferently.
The Fifth Prince hurriedly poured tea for him and invited him to sit down, only then standing to the side and bowing with cupped hands:
"I wonder what business the Venerable has with me?"
He had now recognized this old man with white hair and beard; he was the Venerable of the now-destroyed Pill Alliance.
How is he still alive?
Was it not said that he had already been killed by Qin Ming?
However, it seemed he had a deep blood feud with Qin Ming. Thinking of this, he became excited.
"Do you want to kill Qin Ming?" The old man stated it directly. Although he was asking a question, his tone was full of certainty.
"This… how is that possible? I have no grievances with Qin Ming; why would I want to kill him?" The Fifth Prince stammered.
"Is that so?" The old man sneered. He did not believe that the person before him had not yet received information about Qin Ming.
With his experience, it was not hard to see that if Qin Ming did not die, there was a high possibility he would reach a Breakthrough to Martial Saint. As long as Qin Ming reached a Breakthrough to Martial Saint, would the Great Xia Dynasty even have a place to stand?
All the Martial Artists in the world would follow Qin Ming's orders, and changing the dynasty would be effortless.
By then, this Great Xia Dynasty would no longer belong to the Royal Family, but to the Qin Family.
Therefore, even with his toes, one could guess that the Fifth Prince wanted to kill Qin Ming.
However, wanting to kill is one thing, and being able to kill is another.
This was the purpose of his visit today. If it were just the Fifth Prince, it would be basically impossible to kill Qin Ming. However, with his own schemes added in, the possibility of killing Qin Ming was almost one hundred percent.
"I do have a bit of a desire to kill Qin Ming." The Fifth Prince said with a guilty conscience; he also knew that his thoughts had been seen through by the other party.
