Kind People Get Bullied!

Persimmons are always squeezed first by the strongest hand.

Magneto’s fearsome reputation was known far and wide, and no one dared provoke him. But Zhan Liu was different. He had indeed killed a few people, but even combined, the number was less than a company.

Although he was nominally the teacher of all magnetic-field martial artists, in the East, he would unquestionably have the status of a Martial Grandmaster or Martial Ancestor and be deeply respected. But in the West, people did not care about such an empty title.

The only reason the various factions dared not provoke him was that his combat strength was simply too high. They could not afford to offend him.

But things were different now. What went around came around. The emergence of the Sentinel Model 3 Magnetic Field Rotation Robot had finally eliminated the military’s shortage of high-end combat power.

Erik had originally been a good target as well, but the military generals felt that he was not strong enough and would not be convincing.

Therefore, as one of the two nominally strongest people in the world, Zhan Liu was dragged out and killed as an example for the others.

All one could say was that the ignorant were fearless!

Both sides researched magnetic-field rotation power. Tony’s side had already reached the Fifty Heavens, and wearing his armor allowed him to unleash at least the power of the Seventy-Five Heavens. Even so, he had not dared to act recklessly in front of Zhan Liu.

But this group of ordinary people in the military dared!

Who knew where they had gotten the nerve?

Of course, not everyone had failed to raise objections.

"The only person who can restrain Magneto right now is Zhan Liu. What if…"

"What are you worried about? If he gets killed by the Sentinel Robots, that means our robots have already surpassed their strength. By then, we won’t need an uncooperative bastard like Zhan Liu anymore."

"If the Sentinel Robots can’t beat him, then they definitely can’t beat Magneto either, so we won’t need to provoke that butcher. As for Zhan Liu, he won’t know who attacked him. Who can he retaliate against? It’s not as if he can follow Magneto’s example and slaughter an entire city, right?"

The group exchanged glances, then threw their heads back and laughed.

Kind people got bullied. That was the principle.

"Also, we have to find a way to lure him somewhere remote. Otherwise, if a battle takes place near New York, the negative impact will be far too severe."

"That is true. But that guy usually hides in his Martial Arts School. He’s a complete shut-in. Does anyone have a way to lure him out?"

As soon as those words were spoken, everyone looked at one another, unable to come up with a good method for the moment.

After a while, someone tentatively suggested, "How about sending someone to deliver an invitation and invite him to a banquet?"

"Who will deliver it?"

"Wouldn’t it be easy to find a scapegoat?"

"Even if we find a scapegoat to deliver the invitation, it won’t be of any use! That guy is impervious to both force and persuasion, and he doesn’t give anyone face. He’ll probably throw the invitation straight into the trash."

"Then how about finding one of his disciples and having him ask for help? Surely he wouldn’t stand by and watch his own disciple die?"

"Hmm… Good idea. We can give it a try."

Thus, Zhan Liu, who was drinking tea and reading, received a distress call from a new disciple.

"Master, save me…"

"I was ambushed while carrying out a mission. I’m trapped here now, being bombarded by missiles! Master, if you don’t come save me, your disciple will never see you again…"

The disciple on the other end of the phone wailed in a sobbing voice, with the sounds of various explosions in the background.

"You useless piece of trash!" Zhan Liu cursed the moment he opened his mouth.

"When you encounter an ambush, you should desperately squeeze out your potential, raise your Martial Dao realm, and successfully cross the threshold of Magnetic Field Rotation. Then you should charge straight into the enemy’s lair and blast them all to pieces!"

"What use is calling your master?"

"If Magneto were trying to kill you, it would be understandable for you to ask for help. But it’s just a pile of scrap metal, and you can’t even think of a way to deal with it yourself? How dare you call me?"

"Your master isn’t your family’s nanny, available whenever you call!"

"Fend for yourself!"

"If you can’t break through, then die beneath that pile of junk!"

"My Ultimate Limit Sect has no good-for-nothing loser like you!"

Zhan Liu hung up angrily.

That useless piece of trash had clearly only joined to make up the numbers. He was destined to be a background character for the rest of his life.

He leisurely spent another afternoon, and then, toward evening, Natasha hurried over.

"Something isn’t right. Many of the disciples are packing their things and leaving. It seems they plan to leave and never come back."

"Oh, let them go." Zhan Liu lay back in his recliner and replied lazily.

"This is very unusual. Should I call a few disciples over and ask them?" Natasha asked pointedly.

"No need." Zhan Liu waved his hand, dismissing Natasha, and continued enjoying his leisure.

"In that case, I’m getting off work. I made plans to go shopping with someone tonight." After saying that, Natasha turned and left.

Natasha actually knew what would happen that night. Under orders from her superior, she had come over to give him an oblique warning and do him a favor. If Zhan Liu had been even slightly vigilant, he would certainly have noticed something was wrong. Or if he had paid even a little attention to Natasha as a person, he would have realized that her behavior today was unusual.

However, Zhan Liu had always been completely heartless and indifferent to everything. Besides, he and Natasha were nothing more than pure bedmates, with no feelings involved at all.

Therefore, once night had deepened and all the Martial Arts School’s staff had left after work, Zhan Liu was hit in the face by a cannon shell.

It was a Space-Based Orbital Weapon, a standard tungsten rod. Guided by a satellite, it struck with pinpoint accuracy.

Although the thickness of Zhan Liu’s skin allowed him to perfectly defend against the attack, the Martial Arts School, which had only recently been rebuilt, had once again been reduced to ruins.

Only then did Zhan Liu belatedly understand what everything that had happened during the day meant.

Damn it!

The military was asking for death!

He flew into a rage, reached out, grabbed the fragments of the tungsten rod he had smashed apart with his head, then used Magnetic Field Acceleration to fire them at the military satellite in the sky.

But a moment later, a second tungsten rod came crashing down toward his forehead.

He reached out and caught it, then threw it back with a turn of his hand.

Then something astonishing happened. The tungsten rod actually came falling down again, and he sensed the power of Magnetic Field Rotation within it.

Zhan Liu’s expression tightened. He knew this matter might not be simple. He leaped into the air, flew into the clouds, and headed straight beyond the heavens.

Once he reached outer space, he swept his gaze around and saw the Sentinel Model 3 Magnetic Field Rotation Robot standing in the distant void.

The robot’s eyes flashed red, and the program inside its body began running automatically.

"Target detected!"

"Mission: Eliminate!"

Zhan Liu watched as Magnetic Field Force surged through the blue-green giant’s body, constantly rising.

"Twenty-Five Heavens!"

"Fifty Heavens!"

"Seventy-Five Heavens!"

"Ninetieth Heaven!"

It was still rising!

P.S. These days, torturing the protagonist isn’t popular anymore. Otherwise, I really would have liked to explore this in depth.
