King’s Cero Flash

This was probably the first time Solomon had examined Mercenary Tao so closely and carefully. This monster-level Reincarnator’s pale white hair billowed loosely behind him, electric arcs darting through the strands.

Qi powerful enough to sting his skin blanketed every inch of the surrounding space. Every breath felt as if it scorched his windpipe.

Beyond that sensation was an incomparably oppressive heaviness. The world seemed black and white; merely standing still demanded his complete concentration.

Solomon knew full well that Mercenary Tao’s Spiritual Pressure had become unimaginably powerful. Simply appearing before him was enough to exert pressure upon his soul.

Mercenary Tao’s terrifying appearance was reflected in Solomon’s red-and-blue Eye of Chronos. Instinctively, Solomon was about to activate Future Sight to observe Mercenary Tao’s movements over the coming period.

But the next moment, he saw Mercenary Tao open his mouth. Dark green motes rapidly gathered, and a destructive force accumulated in an instant.

Solomon no longer dared delay. Under the effects of the Anti-Life Equation, he forcibly lowered his body, and King’s Reality instinctively began to activate.

But then—

Pfft!

A dark green Cero pierced through the space between Solomon’s brows, instantly shearing away half his head. His body swayed several times as it began to regenerate.

The Darkhold’s mana barely transformed into holy power and completed his recovery, but Mercenary Tao still stood before him.

And when he looked at the panel—

Unable to use any abilities other than soul-type abilities?!

Mercenary Tao was actually a soul-type Reincarnator?

And…

Solomon felt it was utterly absurd and ridiculous. Why had there never been any intelligence on such an ability? It could practically shut down the majority of Reincarnators outright.

In terms of effect, it was even more outstanding than his King’s Reality.

Looking at the enormous black phantom above Mercenary Tao’s head, resembling some kind of monster, he could not connect it to any setting from any work.

Then Mercenary Tao lowered his eyelids and pressed his index finger against Solomon’s forehead. Solomon felt a sharp pain as his skull was pierced like tofu by the force at Mercenary Tao’s fingertip.

That spiritual Cero gathered behind his skull. The experience of Spiritual Pressure scorching his brain twisted Solomon’s face, and his calmness and reason began to crumble at that moment.

Death was drawing near him with terrifying clarity.

I’m going to die… I’m about to die!

Solomon’s heartbeat accelerated. His blood pressure, pulse, and all kinds of vital signs began spiraling out of control.

Bai Cangshu raised his head slightly, gazing down from beneath his lowered eyelids at the powerful Reincarnator who had seemed capable of standing on equal footing with him not long ago.

Sure enough, in the face of death, you cannot do any better either… Solomon…

"Take a look. Use those eyes of yours for one last look."

Solomon froze in place. Time seemed to slow to an extreme in his perception. Superman and Rhongomyniad, for some reason, had not immediately begun fighting Mercenary Tao.

Surging magic power rose from the sea, and the golden Holy Lance seemed on the verge of being drawn.

Meanwhile, Superman, Clark Kent, who had suppressed the entire field, merely captured the other surviving Reincarnators in this world and brought them back.

Beyond Solomon’s sight, Artoria held a jet-black holy sword as she stared at the indifferent blond king in the sky.

Looking at this individual who shared such strikingly similar traits with herself, she was momentarily stunned.

This was one of the rare times Artoria had felt such an emotion since accepting the Path of the Despotic Tyrant.

Because the other possessed a loneliness and indifference far surpassing her own.

Goddess Rhongomyniad in the sky also looked down at Artoria. Before Her, the Holy Lance linking heaven and earth had already manifested, ready to be unmoored for a strike at any moment.

Yet She stared at the self below wielding a black holy sword—or rather… a certain version of Herself—with an unmistakably strange expression.

Within the Infinite Dimensional Space, Rhongomyniad had seen no idea how many Artorias who had suffered tragic fates. It seemed that those locusts known as Reincarnators harbored some special attachment toward Herself from the Type-Moon World.

Those people always provoked and stimulated "Her" in all kinds of ways, attempting to make those Artorias change.

What kind of transformation had the one before Her undergone?

Solomon gasped heavily. The icy Cero at his forehead could rupture his brain at any moment. Vortex-like specks flickered continuously in his pupils, until at last, they stopped.

Lingering terror remained in his eyes.

"What did you see?"

As Bai Cangshu asked, his gaze swept around the area. He was looking, examining every prey that had appeared on the battlefield.

Thanos was underground more than two thousand meters away, while Hela was even farther, seven or eight thousand meters away;

Captain Marvel was five thousand meters away, and Ikaris…

Bai Cangshu silently calculated everyone’s positions and distances. He knew very well that the unspoken understanding between Superman and himself was only meant to prevent the Reincarnators from using this time to leave the world.

The Black King possessed the nature of Reincarnators. They were not merely Plot Characters; They knew the methods of Reincarnators.

Thus, during the battle just now, the two had both noticed the change in Solomon and the others’ condition. To prevent these people from escaping, the two monster-level beings had stopped fighting almost instantly and instead directly shattered everyone else’s hope of survival.

But there would not be a second time for something like this.

Bai Cangshu felt the power within him, on the verge of overflowing from his body. Superman and Rhongomyniad behind him had both been affected by Lord of the Realm.

Perhaps he could…

"You lost, Mercenary Tao. You will lose!"

Hearing Solomon’s words, Bai Cangshu grinned. Solomon was not lying; he stressed the point.

"You can’t win. This Superman… he’s too powerful…"

"We should…"

Pfft!

A dark green flash tore through the air, carrying brain matter and blood as it shot into the horizon and vanished.

Bai Cangshu moved his finger, and the powerful King’s Cero Flash swept across the surroundings.

In the sky, Rhongomyniad, who had been watching below, was interrupted. She raised a hand and drew the Holy Lance upward by an inch.

Rings of light spread through the sky, as though the Thirteen Restraints were beginning to be released.

But Bai Cangshu paid it no heed. Turning around, he opened his mouth, and King’s Cero Flash lit up again.

Then the Spear of Thunder appeared in his left hand, and he hurled it toward Superman.

Superman raised one hand and instantly caught the Spear of Thunder. But Bai Cangshu let out an angry roar, and the Spear of Thunder exploded outright.

As destructive Spiritual Pressure spread in all directions, Bai Cangshu vanished in an instant. Amid continuous sonic booms, Solomon, who had just regenerated, felt a pain in his face, and in the next moment, he felt as if he were flying through clouds and mist.

When he came to his senses, a purple Titan had already entered his field of vision.

Thanos’s arms had recovered by then. He raised his head to look at Solomon crashing down from the sky, then his expression changed. Turning back, he saw pale white long hair flying behind him.

Bai Cangshu spread his hands, one high and one low, as Yellow Springs began surging within him.

Amid the turbulent Myriad Death Intent, Solomon closed his eyes in despair.
