Knull
"Damn it, what the hell is that bastard doing?"
In the underground base, Tony, whose call had been hung up on, cursed. Just as he was about to say something, Peter shouted in delight, "Mr. Stark, all the Artificial Suns have disappeared."
Tony hurriedly turned around and saw that all the Artificial Suns on the light screen had vanished, leaving behind only empty white houses.
"Damn it, this isn’t scientific at all."
Tony cursed inwardly. He finally understood what Wang Bert meant—such a trivial matter, and they were still dragging their feet?
Tony was deeply displeased. A thing that their entire group had risked their lives trying and failing to accomplish, Wang Bert had done with what was practically a yawn.
Comparisons really did make people furious.
"That Blood God really is powerful."
Future Tony and the others were full of admiration. Future Banner said, "No wonder your world is so safe. It would be great if our world had a Blood God too."
Tony said, "The Blood God is indeed great, but with him around, he steals all the spotlight."
"What does that matter? Safety is what matters most."
Future Tony shook his head. After experiencing so much, he had completely come to terms with it.
When the nine Artificial Suns suddenly disappeared, both Kingpin and Dr. Octopus’s expressions changed. Kingpin hurriedly asked, "What happened? Why have all the Artificial Suns disappeared?"
Dr. Octopus checked the readings and said, "All the Artificial Suns were taken away. It must have been the Blood God. I never expected even this to be within his capabilities."
Dr. Octopus truly had not expected this—although the Blood God was a Star Destroyer Level Expert, destroying a star and dealing with nine Artificial Suns in different locations within a second were entirely different matters.
Dr. Octopus gritted her teeth and said, "At this point, we can only use the other trump card. But Kingpin, this trump card has never been tested. I don’t know what will happen in the end."
Kingpin said decisively, "Don’t overthink it. Use it directly. No matter what, I have to return to my original world and find my wife and son."
"Then activate it."
Dr. Octopus grinned. The two jets simultaneously lit up with strange radiance as they began gathering energy.
"They’re activating the Super Collider. Stop them!"
Blonde Spider-Man shouted while firing a web upward. Everyone’s hearts jolted, and they hurriedly used their abilities to fly toward the other side.
Kingpin was not flustered in the slightest. He coldly said to Riot, "Riot, it’s time to bring out your trump card."
"How did you know? Forget it, we’ll talk about that later."
Riot was somewhat startled, then shook his head. He tore off a clump of his own body tissue and threw it ahead. The tissue swiftly transformed into a pitch-black vortex, and then massive numbers of symbiotes surged out of it like a tide, rushing toward the Super Heroes.
It was not that Riot truly possessed the ability to open a Space Vortex. It was Knull, the god of symbiotes, using its body tissue to transmit divine power and open the Space Vortex.
Eddie hurriedly shouted, "Those are symbiotes. Be careful, don’t let them possess you."
"Get lost."
Future Thor was already in a foul mood. Hearing that, he immediately gathered a massive amount of lightning and blasted it forward. Tony and the others were no less willing to fall behind. Missiles, flames, lasers—every kind of attack bombarded the symbiotes in rapid succession.
In an instant, countless symbiotes were destroyed. However, there were simply too many of them. Quite a few slipped through and flew over, attaching themselves to everyone.
The first to bear the brunt were the four Spider-Men swinging through the air. Symbiotes immediately seeped into their bodies, and the colors of their suits rapidly changed.
"Damn it, activate high-temperature mode."
Quite a few symbiotes pounced onto Tony’s armor and drilled inward through the gaps. Tony snorted coldly, and the temperature of his armor rapidly rose. The symbiotes screamed as they turned to ash.
Future Tony, Hawkeye Barton, and the others all used their armor’s cleansing functions to prevent symbiote infiltration, then released lightning to wipe them all out.
Future Thor and Human Torch, meanwhile, freely unleashed lightning and flames, killing enormous numbers of symbiotes.
Strange opened the Mirror Dimension and pulled all the incoming symbiotes inside, intending to give them to Senior Brother Mordo for research later.
Steve surrounded himself with energy, keeping all the symbiotes outside.
Most people blocked the symbiotes, but Future Banner, Future Ant-Man, Future Steve, and Ant-Man were all possessed by symbiotes.
The Super Heroes possessed by symbiotes not only underwent rapid changes in appearance, but their minds also changed under the symbiotes’ influence.
"Why? Why is my life so miserable? Bankrupt in middle age, divorced, and now I’ve even grown a belly. I clearly did so many good things. I’m clearly a Super Hero! I refuse to accept this!"
Middle-aged Spider-Man roared as his red Spider-Man suit rapidly transformed into black, signifying that he had been controlled by the symbiote.
"You can forget about controlling me. I’m Spider-Man!"
Blonde Spider-Man roared as he desperately tore at the symbiote on his body, forcibly ripping it off.
"I won’t be controlled by some alien life-form."
Future Steve was also forcefully tearing at the symbiote. His conviction was harder than steel—how could he possibly be controlled? Peter, Spider-Gwen, Ant-Man, and Future Ant-Man were locked in a stalemate—they had not been controlled, but neither had they broken free of the symbiotes’ control.
By comparison, Future Banner’s situation was extremely dire—the symbiote fused with Hulk’s remaining will and once again took control of the body. In other words, Future Hulk had officially revived.
"Hulk isn’t a joke. Hulk wasn’t beaten into becoming a shut-in. I am Hulk, the incarnation of rage."
Future Hulk roared. Wrapped in the symbiote, his body rapidly swelled, resembling a savage green beast.
Then, Future Hulk controlled his flying vehicle and charged toward the other Super Heroes. Future Thor immediately rushed forward to stop him.
Future Thor, covered in lightning, and Future Hulk, overflowing with power, collided violently. The savage force directly whipped up a gale around them, sending everyone swaying wildly.
Amid the gale, Future Thor was sent flying backward and smashed heavily into the wall. Future Hulk did not fare much better either. His flying vehicle was pierced by lightning, and he crashed into the ground like a stone with a bang.
"Wow, this is bad. Where’s our Hulk? He didn’t come? At such a critical time, you’re telling me he didn’t come?"
Tony was close to losing it. Unfortunately, Banner really had not come this time. The reason was simple: Betty was pregnant, and Banner had been skipping work every day to see her. This operation had been too rushed, and Banner had not made it back in time.
"Strange, deal with the Space Vortex. Human Torch, fire at the symbiotes with everything you’ve got. They’re terrified of fire."
Steve shouted as he used his Energy Gun to shoot symbiotes. Human Torch immediately transformed into a man of fire and desperately launched flames at the symbiotes, burning huge numbers of them to ash.
Aside from Strange, everyone else also began exterminating the symbiotes—Strange was using Space Magic, trying to close the Space Vortex.
At that moment, Middle-aged Spider-Man charged at Peter, intending to teach this absurdly wealthy Spider-Man a lesson.
Blonde Spider-Man immediately rushed up to intercept Middle-aged Spider-Man, and the two Spider-Men began fighting fiercely in midair.
Middle-aged Spider-Man had originally been no match for Blonde Spider-Man, but now that he was possessed by a symbiote, his strength had increased dramatically. Even Blonde Spider-Man could not take him down.
"Dr. Drake, are the symbiotes useful?"
Riot laughed triumphantly. At the same time, with a savage expression, he charged along the wall toward Venom. That damn traitor.
"Useful, very useful, but it’s still not enough."
Dr. Drake said, "The symbiotes have indeed thrown the Super Heroes into chaos, but with their strength, they’ll stabilize the situation after a while."
"Don’t worry, this is only an appetizer."
As Riot spoke, he controlled his ten fingers to shoot toward Venom. Sensing danger, Venom immediately twisted aside to evade.
"Riot!"
This time, Venom did not run away. It roared as it charged at Riot and violently grappled with him—it wanted to earn merit in exchange for future wealth and glory.
Kingpin stood on his flying vehicle and shouted, "While they’re in chaos, we attack too."
"Alright."
Prowler and Dr. Octopus nodded at the same time. Dr. Octopus smiled and said, "Five minutes. As long as five minutes pass, the Super Collider will be fully activated. Then the Super Heroes will receive a huge surprise."
As she spoke, four rubber tentacles emerged from behind Dr. Octopus. Unlike Doctor Octopus’s mechanical tentacles, Dr. Octopus’s tentacles were made of rubber. They normally contracted behind her back and returned to their original form in battle.
With Kingpin and the other two joining the battlefield, the battle became even more chaotic. All three of them could turn quantum, making them difficult to deal with—the Quantum Interferometer was useless here.
At that moment, accompanied by a strange cry, the head of a gigantic monster slowly pushed its way out of the Space Vortex.
"What the hell is that thing? Can these aliens get any uglier?"
Tony turned to take a look and could not help swearing. Then he shouted at Strange, "Strange, hurry up and deal with that damn vortex."
"I can’t. The other side is a god."
Strange cursed, "I can only interfere with the Space Vortex and slow down its transmission speed."
At the same time, outside the Solar System, Wang Bert’s Dragon Soul Clone, who was searching for the spaceship, felt something stir in his heart and grinned. "Found you."
Space was vast. Even Wang Bert could not easily find a spaceship. Fortunately, that ship had forcibly opened a portal to Earth, and Wang Bert successfully locked onto its location by following the spatial fluctuations.
Wang Bert then opened a portal and arrived in front of the spaceship. Using his X-ray vision to look inside, he discovered that it was packed with symbiotes, enough to make one’s scalp tingle.
Wang Bert could not be bothered with nonsense. He clasped his hands together, causing the surrounding space to ripple. Then, space transformed into a giant hand and grabbed at the spaceship.
Just then, powerful divine energy erupted from the ship, instantly shattering the spatial hand. Next, a psychic message entered Wang Bert’s mind. "Blood God, you’re quite overbearing. You attacked without even asking a question."
"You’ve already invaded Earth, and you expect me to let you go? What do you take Earth for? What do you take me for?"
Wang Bert sneered and waved his right hand through the air, directly severing the Space Channel. Seeing this, Knull hurriedly ordered the symbiote monster, which somewhat resembled a flying lizard, to fly away from the Space Channel.
The symbiote monster had only just entered the underground base when the Space Vortex behind it exploded. It let out a huge sigh of relief, spread its wings, and released a roar that made everyone dizzy.
"What are you yelling for? Don’t you know how ugly you are?"
Looking at the symbiote monster, over thirty meters long, Tony cursed and charged at it alongside Future Tony.
The symbiote monster flew into a rage upon hearing that. Its two claws rapidly extended and viciously grabbed at Tony and Future Tony.
The two Tonys nimbly dodged. Then, energy launchers simultaneously sprang out from their shoulders, and four streams of fiery energy slammed into the monster’s back, burning away a large amount of symbiote tissue.
The symbiote monster howled in pain, its tail tearing through the air like a whip as it lashed fiercely toward them.
"There are even monsters like this? Symbiotes are amazing."
Dr. Drake was thrilled. Riot, by contrast, frowned deeply. Why had the Space Vortex disappeared? What had gone wrong? In space, Knull, inside the ship, controlled a massive number of symbiotes to spread across the outside of the spaceship. At the same time, He said to Wang Bert, "Blood God, in this universe, overbearing people do not live long."
Wang Bert smiled disdainfully. "Overbearing? You invaded Earth, and you’re calling me overbearing? Knull, have you gone senile?"
Knull asked, "You know me?"
"I’ve heard of you. An ancient fossil supposedly older than the universe itself."
Wang Bert said, "Knull, surrender obediently, or don’t blame me for attacking the Symbiote Planet."
Knull was furious. He was older than the universe itself, an elder among elders, yet now a junior was threatening Him like this. If He did not reclaim His dignity, how could He show His face to other gods in the future?
"Boy, I’ll make you understand that you are nothing."
Along with Knull’s voice, the symbiotes outside the spaceship suddenly erupted, forming a black Symbiote Dragon several hundred meters long. It soared freely through space, brimming with dominance.
This was Knull, but not His true body, nor a projection. It was merely a dragon formed from part of His body tissue combined with an army of over a million symbiotes.
"A dragon?"
Wang Bert scoffed and said, "Knull, please send over a projection. Don’t waste everyone’s time with this garbage hybrid."
At most, this Symbiote Dragon was on the level of an ordinary god. It could not possibly be Wang Bert’s opponent.
"The Symbiote Dragon is enough to deal with you."
Knull snorted coldly, flapped its wings, and traveled through space, biting toward Wang Bert. As it moved, the surrounding space was compressed until it became like solid matter, making it impossible for anyone within it to move easily.
Wang Bert sighed. How boring. He could not be bothered wasting time. His body turned into a brilliant red-and-white beam of light and flew into Knull’s mouth, destroying symbiotes all the way through before bursting out of Knull’s back.
Knull screamed, but it was not over. Wang Bert clenched his hand, and all the space he had passed through shattered, transforming into a Space Storm that swept through the surroundings. Half of Knull’s body was destroyed on the spot.
"This is impossible!"
Knull was filled with disbelief. Then, the Symbiote Dragon collapsed into countless symbiotes that fled in every direction.
"Why does it feel like this guy is putting on an act? And a terribly fake one at that."
Wang Bert’s gaze flickered. Something about this was strange. If Knull did not know of his existence, it would be understandable. But Knull clearly knew, yet had sent a dragon here to die. No matter how he looked at it, something was wrong.
