Loki Arrives on the Island

There was no need to discuss just how powerful the Great God of the Void Kassadin was.

After all, they did not know much about the Great God of the Void Kassadin either. They only knew that as long as Lord Kassadin was watching over them, there was nothing to fear.

However, in terms of influence, the Void Cult had only been established for a short time.

Meanwhile, God King Odin’s name had resounded throughout the galaxy for ages. Countless people revered him as a god, and Asgard’s strength was universally acknowledged.

There were not many races in the entire universe that dared cause trouble in the Nine Realms.

But no matter how powerful Asgard was, it had little to do with the Void Cult.

The Void Cult’s main sphere of activity was still Xandar and the planets around it.

They were quite far from Asgard and had no grudges against one another.

When they had supported Tony Stark before, they had even done Asgard a favor.

That gave the two factions even less reason to bear any grudges against each other.

But if Loki joined the Void, they might become enemies. This was clearly not worth it.

If Thor became king and Odin, Asgard’s greatest pillar, died—

Since their Void Cult had helped Thor before, there might still be some room to maneuver.

But while Odin was still alive, no matter what, the Void Cult could not recruit Asgardian people right in front of him.

That was why Lacey dared conclude that Lord Kassadin would basically never allow Loki to join the Void.

"Even if it’s impossible, a guest who has come from afar is still a guest. Let’s go take a look."

Renoli also understood why Lacey had said all that, but considering that Void Island was Void Cult territory—

Loki, someone from another major faction, had come all this way. They still needed to go over and see him.

"Don’t we need to inform Miss Sonia?"

Kyle asked in confusion, though he stood up immediately as well, clearly interested in going over to find out more.

"With Miss Sonia’s abilities, she must already know that Loki has arrived."

"Let’s go meet him first and see how Miss Sonia reacts later.

"If Sonia is interested, she will definitely come out to meet Loki afterward."

"If she isn’t interested, then her not appearing will count as a direct rejection."

The Precognitor spoke up.

"That makes sense."

Kyle realized he had asked a stupid question and nodded.

Inside Summit Villa.

Harvey saw that Renoli and the others had already gone out and intended to negotiate, so he decided to watch for now.

As for Loki, Harvey had no intention of bringing him into the Void.

Setting aside Loki’s character, once he joined the Void, he could easily sink into the abyss of desire, stir up trouble everywhere, cause a catastrophic disaster, and ultimately leave Harvey to clean up the mess.

More importantly, Loki’s father, God King Odin, would die soon, but he was not dead yet.

If Odin found out that Loki had come to believe in Harvey’s Void Cult, he would think Harvey had deliberately recruited Loki.

God King Odin would definitely cause trouble for the Void Cult afterward.

Therefore, Harvey would absolutely never agree to let Loki join the Void Cult at this point.

As for Thor, once Odin was dead, Harvey could try recruiting him if the opportunity arose.

But Harvey would not force Thor to join the Void, because Thor was different from Tony and Steve.

Even if Tony and Steve asked him to let their wives and former girlfriends they cared about join the Void, it would only amount to a few people.

Tony wanted to help Earth enter the interstellar age, but that was only Tony’s ideal, not a responsibility he had to bear. Even if Tony failed to accomplish it, it would not matter.

Thor, however, represented more than just himself. Soon, after God King Odin died—

Thor would have a large number of Asgardian people behind him who needed his care.

Once Thor joined the Void, he might make more demands, perhaps even asking for all of Asgard’s people to join the Void.

That would indeed be a considerable amount of Void Energy.

But all of those people came from Asgard. If they joined the Void Cult, they would inevitably disrupt the current balance.

The Void Cult would gain an Asgardian faction, and that was not something Harvey wanted to see at this stage.

Late in the afternoon, nearing evening.

Loki stood at the harbor, looking thoughtfully at the peaceful island gleaming beneath the sunset.

When he returned to Asgard, Father had flown into a rage. However, Thor had pleaded for him, so he had merely been confined for over half a month as punishment.

After coming out of confinement, Loki investigated Renoli and the others.

Sure enough, he found some clues through Renoli and the others and uncovered the Void Cult.

Although the members of the Void Cult worshipped someone called God of the Void Kassadin—

And although the Void Cult had not been established for long, after reading about Kassadin’s deeds, Loki knew he was a ruthless figure.

Perhaps because the Void Cult had only recently been established and was still in the early stages of development—

God of the Void Kassadin acted somewhat more discreetly.

Of course, this discretion was only compared to figures on the same level as God of the Void Kassadin, such as Thanos and God King Odin.

Compared to the countless lives in the universe, Kassadin could be considered extremely high-profile and exceptionally powerful.

Loki was ninety percent certain that God of the Void Kassadin was Harvey Anberaka on Earth.

That was why Loki had rushed over without stopping, hoping to see whether he could receive a blessing as well.

But before Loki could head deeper into the island and ask around—

"Loki, what are you doing here?"

Renoli had already appeared in front of Loki and questioned him directly.

"Renoli, you came at just the right time. There are some things I want to ask you about."

Loki had been wondering who he should ask, but Renoli’s appearance instantly cleared his thoughts. A friendly smile appeared on his face.

"Loki, if you’re only here to have some fun, we welcome you."

"But if you came here specifically to receive the Great God of the Void Kassadin’s blessing, then I’m afraid you’ll be leaving disappointed."

Renoli had learned about Loki’s nature from Tony.

Although Loki had helped during the war on Earth, Loki had originally been guilty in that war as well. He had merely abandoned darkness for the light due to circumstances.

Of course, Earth was not Renoli’s hometown, so he did not care that much whether Loki was good or evil.

"I did indeed come to embrace the Void, but why are you saying I have no chance when I haven’t even tried?"

Hearing Renoli’s words, Loki’s eyes flickered. He put on an innocent expression as he spoke.

"Because your father is God King Odin."

At that moment, with a BOOM, Kyle descended directly from the sky and spoke.

"What, do you have a grudge against God King Odin?"

"Perfect. I’ve long disliked that old bastard too."

Hearing that reason, Loki immediately said.
