Malekith Torn Apart
As time passed, the spatial anomalies caused by the convergence of the Nine Realms became increasingly obvious, frequent, and powerful.
This forced Jane, who had originally been confident she could control the anomalies, to report to Natasha that relying on the "Javelins" was no longer enough to contain the spatial disturbances. She told the agents to take care of themselves, then turned and ran.
Natasha was somewhat helpless. She did not think badly of Jane for running away. After all, Jane was a scientist, not a warrior, so Natasha had never intended to send her onto the battlefield.
It was just that Jane had confidently guaranteed there would be no spatial anomalies on the battlefield, only to suddenly change her tune and say she could not control them. What was that supposed to mean?
If Jane’s boyfriend had not been locked in a fierce battle with Malekith, Natasha would have loved to put a bullet through Jane’s head. You set us up.
With no other choice, Natasha pressed her communicator and said helplessly, "All teams, watch for nearby spatial anomalies. If you get teleported to another planet, figure out how to get back yourselves."
The agents who heard Natasha’s announcement could not help twitching at the corners of their mouths. Ma’am, are those even human words? What do you mean, figure out how to get back ourselves? Do you think we can just hail a taxi back to Earth after reaching an alien planet? Even if an alien taxi knew the way to Earth, we don’t have alien currency!
With no alien currency in their pockets, the agents were too frightened to use their previous tactic of luring some Dark Elves into ambush points. They could only carefully watch for nearby spatial anomalies while killing Dark Elves.
But that made the fighting extremely frustrating. The Dark Elves’ armor was simply too strong. Other than headshots, bullets only produced a few sparks when they struck the armor, after which the Dark Elves would raise their weapons and return fire as though nothing had happened.
Even worse, after the agents threw a grenade and blasted the enemy dizzy, the Dark Elves would merely shake their heads and get back up. Then a single Space Grenade from them would blow several agents into pieces so thoroughly that nothing remained.
The agents were indignant. They’re both grenades. Why do I still have to collect your corpses after blowing you up, while when you blow me up, you save me the cost of a cemetery?
Fortunately, Steve, Sif, and Warriors Three held back most of the Dark Elves on the battlefield, leaving the agents to face only a small number of them.
At the same time, Li Feng, who could sense spatial anomalies, and Stark, who relied on Jarvis to constantly monitor spatial fluctuations, roamed around and arrived in time to provide support.
Otherwise, these agents, too afraid to act rashly, would have been wiped out by the Dark Elves.
As Sif and the others charged around the battlefield and gradually eliminated the Dark Elves, Sif raised her head and looked at Li Feng in confusion. "Austin, have you seen Thor?"
Li Feng scratched his head and shrugged. "I saw him and Malekith get teleported away earlier. I don’t know where they are now either."
The moment Li Feng finished speaking, Thor and Malekith suddenly appeared in the distance behind Sif, along with a Frost Beast.
Thor had no time to care about the damage the Frost Beast might cause to Earth. All he could see was Malekith, the man who had nearly killed his mother.
Holding Mjolnir, Thor charged at Malekith again without a second thought.
Li Feng covered his face and sighed, then cast a Time Stop Spell on the Frost Beast.
However, Li Feng had underestimated the Frost Beast’s strength. This thing had not only beaten the God of Thunder and his companions in Thor 1, but had even driven Loki, whose Invisibility Spell was first-rate, into a desperate situation.
If everyone had not joined forces to kill the Frost Beast in the end, the consequences would have been unimaginable.
Now, Li Feng wanted to destroy the Frost Beast by himself. That was clearly wishful thinking.
When the Time Stop Spell wrapped around the Frost Beast, Li Feng’s expression changed. His face reddened as he struggled to maintain the spell, shouting, "Sif, help me!"
Seeing Li Feng’s expression, how could Sif not realize that the spell could not restrain the Frost Beast at all? She immediately raised her sword high and chopped off the Frost Beast’s head.
When the headless Frost Beast collapsed to the ground, Li Feng let out a sigh of relief. Just as he was about to dismiss the spell, Malekith suddenly appeared beside him.
Li Feng’s expression froze. Damn it, why is it only Malekith? Where’s Thor? Taking a halftime break?
When Malekith saw that Thor had not been teleported back to Earth with him, he secretly breathed a sigh of relief. Glancing at the corpses of his people scattered nearby, he felt utterly exhausted. Is it really so easy for me to restore the universe to the Dark World?
At first, Odin’s father, Bor, had beaten him so badly that he did not even dare return home. He could only lead the few remaining members of his people into hibernation.
Later, after being awakened by Aether, he had used up the last Cursed Warrior of his clan just to reclaim Aether.
Now, the convergence of the Nine Realms was upon them, and he was close to fulfilling the Dark Elves’ mission. Leaving aside the fact that his people had all died, that muscular Asgard Palace brute Thor was still desperately trying to hold him back?
Damn it, why does no one understand that the Dark World is the most beautiful? As he lamented, Malekith saw the Mage floating before him. He strode resolutely toward the point beneath the convergence of the Nine Realms while casually releasing spikes formed from Aether to kill the Mage.
Feeling as though bad luck had latched onto him, Li Feng immediately wrapped himself in spirit fire. While using his shield to dodge the spikes, he waved his hand and fired a Time Stop Spell at Malekith.
Malekith turned aside to dodge the spell, then narrowed his eyes at Li Feng. "Strange magical fluctuations. It seems I underestimated you, Mage."
After a pause, Malekith realized that Li Feng was using Dark Energy Mana and tilted his head. "Mage, once the world falls into darkness, it will only benefit you. Why do you insist on blocking my path?"
"Heh." Li Feng, his entire body burning with spirit fire and looking like a man made of flames, secretly gathered a more powerful blaze as he spoke. "Where there is darkness, there is naturally light. Just as the bustle of daytime makes the peace of night stand out. I won’t deny that the Dark World would greatly benefit my strength, but I don’t like the silence of the Dark World. I prefer noise. I prefer a world where I can lie on the grass and see countless stars shining in the night sky."
Malekith nodded slightly and said disdainfully, "But the world originally belonged to darkness. You cannot deliberately change the world’s nature just because you like something."
Li Feng shrugged and curled his lip. "The problem is, the current world wasn’t created by me either. It formed naturally, so you shouldn’t deliberately drag it back into darkness."
As he spoke, Li Feng swept his gaze around. Thor still showed no sign of returning, while only Sif and Warriors Three had vaguely formed an encirclement around Malekith.
Gritting his teeth, Li Feng waved his hand and opened the Mirror Dimension, preparing to trap Malekith, Sif, and the others inside it to buy Thor time to return to Greenwich.
Seeing that he was about to be sealed inside an Otherspace, Malekith showed no sign of panic. Instead, a disdainful smile curled across his lips. As he released Aether to shatter the Mirror Dimension, he sneered, "Little Mage, you underestimate the power of Aether."
Before he could finish speaking, Sif gave Warriors Three a look. The four of them abruptly raised their weapons and charged at Malekith.
Li Feng did not hold back either. Predicting the direction Malekith would dodge, he fired the spirit fire he had prepared long ago at his opponent.
On one side were the blades of Sif and the others; on the other was that strange flame.
In Malekith’s eyes, if Sif and the others wounded him, his combat strength would inevitably decline. Thor, who was fighting like his life depended on it, was already nearly as strong as him. If Malekith was injured, Thor might truly hammer him to death.
Li Feng was different. Although Malekith knew the spirit fire was unusual, Li Feng’s strength was right there for all to see. Besides, Malekith firmly believed in Aether’s power.
Surely he can do nothing to me. With that thought, Malekith decisively avoided the blades of Sif and the others, then charged into the spirit fire under Aether’s protection.
If possible, Malekith even wanted to break through the spirit fire and kill Li Feng directly.
Unfortunately, Malekith had underestimated the spirit fire, which clung to him like a maggot to bone.
When the spirit fire exploded across Malekith’s body, his pupils shrank. He quickened his pace toward Li Feng and shouted harshly, "This fire can burn souls?!"
Grinning, Li Feng turned into Black Mist and hid behind Sif. Watching Malekith sizzle as though he were being fried, Li Feng mocked, "Malekith, how does my spirit fire taste? Feel like asking for some Cumin Chili Salt?"
"Hmph." Malekith, whose soul had been set ablaze, snorted coldly and immediately used Aether’s energy to extinguish the spirit fire.
But injuries to the soul could not be healed just because one wanted them healed. Even the absurd power of the Reality Stone could not repair a wounded soul in just a few seconds.
Though his exterior showed no damage at all, Malekith panted heavily. He glared furiously at Li Feng, then looked up at the Nine Realms, which were about to completely converge. I can’t drag this out any longer, or I’ll miss this chance.
Malekith took a deep breath and suddenly covered his entire body with Aether, looking as though he was about to unleash a powerful move.
Li Feng and the others exchanged looks and silently prepared to defend or dodge. Then Malekith turned and ran toward the warship, casting a disdainful look at everyone present.
Li Feng froze for a moment, then instinctively looked at the eight enormous spatial passages in the sky and shouted, "Is he going to use Aether to drag the nine worlds into darkness?"
Sif gritted her teeth. As she threw her sword at Malekith, who had appeared beside her enveloped in Aether, she shouted, "Damn it, we have to stop him! Once he completely releases Aether, not only will Aether protect him at the center and keep us from approaching him, but the nine worlds will be finished too. We’ll be finished as well."
But how are we supposed to fight? He’s already protected by Aether. We don’t have Thor’s physical strength to ignore Aether and get close to him.
As Li Feng wondered what to do, he suddenly remembered the scene from the movie where Malekith’s body was torn apart by spatial passages.
Li Feng’s eyes lit up. Pulling a "Javelin" from the ground, he shouted, "Stark, can you control this thing?"
Stark thought for a moment. Understanding Li Feng’s intention, he pulled another "Javelin" from nearby and shouted, "Jarvis can precisely control all electronic devices."
While Sif and Warriors Three were still confused about what Li Feng meant, Li Feng opened a Portal in front of himself that connected to Malekith’s back. He then fired the "Javelin" in his hand through it.
Just as Malekith caught the "Javelin" with one hand, Jarvis instantly took control of the device and teleported Malekith’s arm to another planet.
Sif and the others immediately understood Li Feng’s intention. They gathered up "Javelins," and the moment Li Feng opened another Portal, they fired the "Javelins" at Malekith.
