Mr. Chen’s original intention

Yang Yaoyao nodded in agreement upon hearing this.

She thought to herself, "With a veteran professor of agriculture helping to promote it, how could it not become popular?"

Now, because of Professor Yuan, Boring Short Videos has also been brought onto the trending list, with over a million downloads in just one night.

This is only the beginning!

As time goes on, the download count for Boring Short Videos will definitely continue to grow rapidly.

Although I don't know what the final download count will be, with the boost from this trending topic, the number will definitely be terrifying.

"This is not a small matter; let's report it to President Li."

Yang Yaoyao said slowly.

Now that traffic has increased, Boring Short Videos certainly needs to make some adjustments; after all, such a sudden surge in users will definitely have an impact on the platform.

Although President Li Shen handed over some of the company's decision-making power to them when he left, allowing them to make decisions directly without reporting,

this matter is too big, so it's better to report it.

"Mm-hmm!"

Liu Weiwei nodded in agreement.

In a poverty-stricken mountainous area,

Li Shen had just walked out of an impoverished elderly person's home when his phone rang.

He took out his phone, glanced at it, and seeing it was a call from Yang Yaoyao, he answered it directly.

"President Li, Boring Short Videos has become popular?"

As soon as the call connected, Yang Yaoyao's voice came through.

"Boring Short Videos has become popular? What do you mean?"

Li Shen didn't understand Yang Yaoyao's meaning for a moment.

"It's like this, President Li: Boring Short Videos has gained over a million downloads in a single night."

Yang Yaoyao's voice came through again, full of joy.

"What exactly is going on?"

Li Shen was shocked; for the current Boring Short Videos, a million downloads could be considered a very high number.

"It's because of Professor Yuan. He participated in a livelihood interview program and promoted our Boring Short Videos on the show. Now, this matter has made it onto the trending list, and Boring Short Videos has gone trending along with it."

Yang Yaoyao stopped teasing and simply explained the gist of the matter.

Professor Yuan participated in a livelihood interview program and promoted Boring Short Videos on the show.

That's why it went trending.

Li Shen briefly summarized Yang Yaoyao's words.

His eyes filled with shock. He hadn't expected Professor Yuan to promote Boring Short Videos on an interview program; this was a decision that showed immense trust in their platform!

You have to know, Professor Yuan already has an excellent reputation; if he kept it up like that, he would definitely be praised by the people.

But at this moment, Professor Yuan chose to promote Boring Short Videos.

This is risky!

If Boring Short Videos gains a large number of users after Professor Yuan's promotion, these people will have downloaded it solely because of Professor Yuan's reputation.

If Boring Short Videos were to suddenly have some errors in the future, Professor Yuan would very likely be implicated, leading to damage to his reputation.

"Alright, I know about this matter. Is there anything else?"

Li Shen took a deep breath and said slowly.

"There is more. Currently, Boring Short Videos' user base has instantly increased by over a million, and we need to make some responses. I wanted to seek your approval."

"Go ahead!"

"Now that the number of users for Boring Short Videos has increased, the server capacity must be strictly monitored to avoid platform crashes caused by a sudden surge in users. Also, since Boring Short Videos has just gone trending, there will definitely be more new users downloading it. I suggest adding a few more servers to avoid the problem of insufficient server capacity."

"Furthermore, the number of followers for educational livestreams has increased from 190,000 to over 550,000, so we might not have enough streamers for subject-based educational livestreams. We should step up efforts to recruit new streamers."

Yang Yaoyao earnestly explained the ins and outs of the matter; these were the areas she had carefully organized before making the call that needed immediate adjustment.

Listening to Yang Yaoyao, Li Shen's gaze was filled with admiration.

To have thought of so many problems arising from the increased user base so quickly, and to have provided corresponding solutions—she is definitely a talent.

Previously, Yang Yaoyao and Liu Weiwei had directly solved the issue of promoting subject-based livestreams, so he already knew that Yang Yaoyao and Liu Weiwei were talented.

But hearing Yang Yaoyao's performance today, he realized that he had still underestimated the abilities of the two. This ability to quickly find solutions to problems is definitely not something an ordinary talent can achieve.

President Chen is truly President Chen! His eye for talent has never been wrong.

He secretly praised President Chen in his heart, then said slowly.

"Mm-hmm, I'm still outside and can't keep track of the company's current situation at all times, so you and Liu Weiwei can take charge of these matters. Just proceed with the methods you just mentioned."

"Also, besides the arrangements mentioned above, you need to pay more attention to the agricultural livestream section. Previously, because there were fewer people watching the agricultural livestream section, we haven't listed any agricultural products yet. Now that the number of people watching agricultural livestreams has increased so much, plus the Professor Yuan incident, those watching the agricultural livestreams have a very high level of trust in them."

"You can take advantage of this time to send out a team to inspect various brands of agricultural products, select items with high-quality standards, and discuss cooperation matters. Also, if you can't make up your mind about quality control, you can go to those agricultural streamers in the Livestream room; they have quite good experience, so consult with them."

"In short, remember one thing: any agricultural product listed on the livestream platform must be 100% confirmed to have passed quality checks. Any items that are uncertain should not be listed."

Li Shen spoke slowly. If Boring Short Videos wants to make a profit, entering e-commerce is a path that must be taken.

However, to ensure the reputation of Boring Short Videos, quality control must be kept under tight control; not a single flawed item is allowed to appear on the Boring Short Videos platform.

Especially in agriculture; this is very important.

If something really goes wrong with an agricultural product, it will affect crop yields.

For example, seeds. If there is a problem with the quality of the seeds, the emergence rate of the crops planted will be extremely low, which is a huge blow to farmers.

After all, crop yield is related to the farmers' income.

Therefore, in terms of quality, he does not allow any mistakes.

Especially after traveling through so many poverty-stricken mountainous areas, he values this point even more.

He doesn't have as many assets as President Chen to help so many impoverished elderly people.

But he can ensure that every agricultural product that goes out through Boring Short Videos is of guaranteed quality and quantity, so that farmers do not have to worry about the quality of agricultural products when sowing.

He cannot help so many impoverished elderly people, but at the very least, he can ensure that those who use agricultural products produced by Boring Short Videos do not suffer reduced crop yields and, consequently, lower incomes due to quality issues.

And this is probably President Chen's original intention for establishing Boring Short Videos.
