One Year

It had only been one year since the twenty-second World Martial Arts Tournament. According to the original storyline, two years later, at the twenty-third World Martial Arts Tournament, Goku would marry Chi-Chi. Four years after Goku and Chi-Chi married, Goku's older brother Raditz would arrive on Earth, kicking off the fierce battles of Dragon Ball. Goku and the others would also frantically raise their battle powers amid those brutal battles. There were roughly seven years left.
