Pirates Exposed, Deep Sea Demon Whale

After everyone had eaten their fill, Su Yu looked at the captain of the Seadevil Ship. "Tell me, what are you planning to do?"

Heidel, the captain of the Sea Demon, wore a grim expression. "How are you all fine?!"

Oscar laughed disdainfully. "Heh. You actually tried to poison us? You really don’t know your own limits."

Tang San stared at Heidel and the others. "If I’m not mistaken, you’re pirates, aren’t you? You wanted to poison us unconscious, then rob us of our money, right?"

Since they had been exposed, Heidel and the others stopped pretending. Sinister smiles spread across their faces as Heidel laughed. "So what if we are? This is the sea, the territory of us Sea Soul Masters. Land Soul Masters like you are nothing here!"

As he spoke, Heidel released his Soul Rings.

Yellow, yellow, yellow, purple, purple.

Heidel’s subordinates also released their Soul Rings. Including Heidel, there were eight pirates in total: one Soul King, one Soul Ancestor, two Soul Elders, and four Soul Grandmasters.

Ma Hongjun clenched his fists and grinned. "Let me handle this."

As he spoke, Ma Hongjun stepped in front of the others, and Soul Rings appeared around him one after another.

Yellow, yellow, purple, purple, black, black, black.

Heidel and the other seven stared at Ma Hongjun with wide eyes. Heidel’s voice trembled. "A Soul Saint…"

A bad feeling rose in Heidel’s heart. A random member of their group was already a Soul Saint. They were finished.

A faint smile appeared on Ma Hongjun’s lips as he shouted, "Phoenix Avatar!"

Clang—

A phoenix cry rang out, and the momentum of Heidel and the others was instantly suppressed beneath Ma Hongjun’s.

Heidel swallowed. "Attack! There are more of us! We can definitely beat them!"

"Kill!" The others shouted as they charged forward together.

Ma Hongjun rose into the air and looked down at the eight of them with a cold smile. "Captain, do you really think having more people means you can win? Isn’t that a little too naive? Forget one Soul King—even if eight Soul Emperors came, they still couldn’t defeat a single Soul Saint!"

Ma Hongjun was not exaggerating at all. Once someone reached the Soul Saint level, they could use their Martial Soul Avatar, and their strength would rise dramatically.

"Phoenix Fire Line!"

Ma Hongjun opened his mouth, and a blast of fire surged from it toward Heidel and the others. The Phoenix Fire Line cast with a Soul Saint’s Soul Power was unimaginably hot. Several of them were instantly burned to ashes.

"Ah—"

Three people remained, all screaming in agony. They clearly could not hold on for more than a few seconds. Tang San hurriedly used Blue Silver Grass to bind their waists, then threw them into the sea.

Ma Hongjun asked in confusion, "Third Brother, why did you save them?"

Tang San rolled his eyes at Ma Hongjun speechlessly. "Why do you think? If you burn them all to death, are you going to sail the ship?"

Ma Hongjun slapped his forehead and laughed awkwardly. "Hehe, I forgot about that."

Seeing that they had suffered enough, Tang San pulled the three men back aboard. Heidel and the other two sprawled on the deck like three old dogs. Tang San said coldly, "We can spare the three of you. If you don’t want to end up like those five just now, steer the ship properly and take us to Sea God Island."

Heidel nodded hurriedly. "Yes, yes, yes. I understand."

Su Yu rubbed his chin. He had forgotten some of the plot here, but he vaguely remembered that Tang San and the others would encounter trouble in this place. After thinking it over, Su Yu decided to let it go. He could not be bothered to think about it anymore. In any case, no one would die.

After Heidel left, a cold gleam flashed through his eyes. Pirates like them were indeed afraid of death, but among the five pirates who had just been killed was his son! His son was dead, and he was now completely alone. What was there left for him to fear? All Heidel could think about now was how to perish together with Su Yu and the others.

Night.

Su Yu, who had been preparing to sleep, suddenly frowned. Then he waved a hand and continued sleeping. Tang San and Dugu Bo also sensed that something was wrong. Tang San’s Divine Slaughter’s Domain sent him a message, as though warning him that danger lay ahead, while Dugu Bo, being a god after all, immediately sensed the powerful presence beneath the water.

Tang San and Dugu Bo immediately arrived at the ship’s control room. They stared at Heidel as Dugu Bo asked coldly, "Are you trying to die? What place is this?"

Seeing Dugu Bo’s expression, Heidel laughed madly. "Hahahaha, looks like you’ve noticed something wrong. This is the Demon Whale Sea Area! There’s a hundred-thousand-year-old demon whale beneath us. Even the Sea God thought it was too powerful, so he blinded its left eye. You’re all dead!"

Tang San grabbed Heidel by the collar. "Why would you do this? Aren’t you afraid of death?"

"Death? Heh. You already killed my son. So what if I die? Kill me." As he spoke, Heidel closed his eyes.

Tang San released Heidel and said calmly, "I see. You may go."

Heidel froze. "You… are letting me go?"

Tang San nodded slightly. "Though pirates like you commit every evil imaginable and deserve death, you did this from the perspective of a father. I will not kill you. But have you ever considered how many families were torn apart by your past acts of murder, arson, and plunder?"

After saying that, Tang San and Dugu Bo left, leaving Heidel sitting dazedly on the floor. Tang San looked at Dugu Bo. "Old monster, are you confident you can deal with that demon whale below?"

Dugu Bo smiled. "I’m a level-one-hundred god, after all. If I couldn’t defeat a hundred-thousand-year-old Soul Beast, that would be rather absurd!"

Tang San smiled faintly. Then, a massive tail suddenly appeared before the Sea Demon and slammed toward the ship. Just as Dugu Bo was about to block it, a layer of golden light appeared over the Sea Demon. The giant tail struck the golden light, and a pained howl rose from the depths of the sea.

"Wooo—"

Dugu Bo smiled. "Looks like I don’t need to step in. Have that fellow Heidel keep sailing toward Sea God Island."

Tang San nodded and went to find Heidel. Heidel had been extremely confused when nothing happened after so long. Seeing Tang San return, he asked, "What? Have you changed your mind?"

Tang San smiled. "I never go back on a decision I’ve made. That demon whale is no longer a threat. Continue sailing. Once we reach Sea God Island, you can do whatever you want. But I advise you to stop being a pirate. You clearly possess the strength of a Soul King, so why do such petty, sneaky things?"

"What?! It’s no longer a threat? How is that possible?!" Heidel stared at Tang San in disbelief.

"You don’t need to worry about that. Just keep sailing." With that, Tang San left.

Heidel muttered dazedly, "Petty, sneaky things…"
